I love how Tee wrote about Andi and Nick. The spark between them both. It is definitely a very interesting story.

Nick has some competition for his woman's affections, "something wriggled between them. Stray. To her dismay, the dog forced them apart. “Quite the protective little watchdog you’ve got.” He uttered a low laugh then leaned down to give Stray a pat on the head." Nick really appreciates his woman's talents, "it turns me on when you go all astronomical.” The erection straining at his zipper was proof of that..." I liked this book, I loved Nick.

I received an arc copy of this book from NetGalley for my honest review. Having read the first book in this K9 series I was not sure this author could make the series any better but boy was I wrong . This suspenseful romance will knock your socks off. Andi meets Nick with a bang- he’s on a case with his canine companion Saxon that she unfortunately gets caught up in, as he busts in on her in the shower (it’s okay she has a bathing suit on). Initially Andi seems put off by Nick’s no nonsense attitude but in his investigation they spend more time with each other and their canine companions. The sexual tension between them is obvious to all and when they do get together , boy is the fire hot enough to burn. There is some ups and downs that they both must face but I think in makes it more relatable than a instaromance. The antics of their dogs bring a bit of the cuteness factor too. The mystery twist was unexpected which is nice. For those who are new to the series, don’t worry at all- you will have no problem enjoying this book, but for those of you who have read book one you’ll be happy to see some familiar faces. I think I know who book three is about and I can’t wait. I highly recommend this book as a must read and applaud the author’s blend of suspense, romance, and lovable dogs. 5 stars

Book 2 in the Federal K-9 series had me hooked from the very first page, the story is funny, cute and full of action, and it has two adorable dogs in, a hot as hell Cop and a kiss a$$ heroine. The story centres around Andi Hardt who has unknowingly gotten herself involved in a money laundering scam, and is now being investigated by non other than Sgt Nick Houston. We follow Nick and his team as they race against the clock to bring in the bad guy and save the girl. Perfect writing, amazing characters (dogs too), and a gripping story. I’m loving this Federal K-9 series from Tee O’Fallen, (who it appears is in fact a real life federal agent), so I’m thinking she knows what she writes. She also has a dog (not a police dog I might add), she also likes chocolate and martinis, so, she’s my kinda gal. Another K-9 five star read for me. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher. This is my honest review.

Tee O’Fallon has found a new fan. I had never read anything from her before but by page 2 I was hooked. The story had so much depth and our Hero and Heroine have both been through the mill in the past which affects the way they live there lives. The crime story was really well written and I loved all the scenes with the dogs...so sweet.

The relationship between Nick and Andi never felt rushed, it felt very organic and believable and as the story developed I was firmly on their side. The ending was very climatic and had me on the edge of my seat. Will definitely read book 3 when it comes out...hopefully will be Eric’s and Tess story

I downloaded this book on a whim and it far exceeded my expectations! The book starts out with a bang and intrigued me from page 1. I spent the first chapter wondering if Andi was telling the truth right along with Nick. While we're on the subject of Andi and Nick, I adored them. Both have struggled in the past, and I enjoyed watching them overcome their past heartbreaks and accept love. And the dogs! A fabulous addition and great characters in their own rights. I didn't realize this was the second book in the series, so I am off to read Matt and Trista's story!

*I received an advanced copy. All opinions are my own.

This is the second book in this series, although I think it can definitely be read as a standalone. I've read both books and enjoyed them, and although the characters from the first one pop up here, their story isn't interwoven into this one. I love the K-9 related plot and LOVED Saxon and Stray. I really liked Nick and Andi also, but the dogs definitely stole the show for me. ;-) This is a riveting romantic suspense that is pretty well paced. My only complaint about the pacing is that I thought it got a little bogged down in both characters' repeated self-reflection about why they couldn't/wouldn't love again. I didn't think it was necessary to repeat those thoughts so much, and I found myself skimming those sections each time they'd pop up (and it's several) to get back to the action. But I have a head cold, so maybe I'm just grumpy right now. The height of the conflict is intense! The realistic portrayal of what happens at the hand of the "bad guy" was disturbing, yet appreciated; this is romantic suspense--no need to sugarcoat the outcome (as long as we get our HEA). :-) I look forward to reading the next book in the series. The author has a great thing going.

The plot driven story-line was really fast-paced, which is something I love about these books so far. Every second spent not reading this book - when I needed to take care of my family or something like that - I was thinking about this book and about how the story would continue. I love reading books like these, that hold me captivated even when not reading them.

I loved being back in this world and experiencing this particular story revolving Nick, whom we got to meet in the first book as well. The K-9's and their handlers in these books are all so interesting to read about, wether we're looking into the main characters or the supportive ones. I loved seeing characters reappear that we got to meet in the first book, but there were also some new characters that I came to love, like our female lead for example, Andi.

She was a character I could so easily connect with somehow. She felt realistic and was just incredibly likable to me. She was feisty but not 'too much' you know? She had her moments of insecurity and sensibility but she was no pushover either. A great balanced out character that I came to care for a lot!

Somewhere along the line, annoyance had turned into respect, and she'd begun to like him. Then like had morphed into caring with something else thrown in- desire. God, how she wanted him to make love to her.
But her feelings ran far deeper.
Fear curled in her belly.
If anything happened to him...
If he were killed...
he would take a piece of her heart with him.
How much of her heart was too frightening to contemplate.
And then we have Nick, our sexy AF K-9 handler and his dog, Saxon. Especially Nick was quite a surprising character. The author kept me on my toes throughout the entire book with this guy. Sure, he's this sexy and confident cop with an intimidating K-9 dog at his side that you can't help but fall in love with as well.

But there are aspects of him coming to the surface throughout the book that had me Really falling in love with this guy. Guitar playing?! Check! Capable of talking about his feelings even though he had some shitty things happening in his past? Check! Going after the things/people he loves? Check! Love for Dogs? CHECK! So yeah... He ticked all the right boxes in my opinion hihi.

Until now, he'd been hiding under a blanket, scared shitless of exposing his heart for fear of having it ripped from his chest again. It had taken the right person to yank off that blanket and let sunlight into his world again.
Andi had done that.
As with the first book, the presence of the animals in this one is just great yet again! I love how the author fits them all in so nicely into the story-line. I couldn't imagine them not being present in these books. These animals that we've had the pleasure of meeting so far, have stolen my heart and are definitely a part of what makes these stories work so well in my opinion.

The mystery and suspense elements in this one were magnificently done I think. Normally I'm not all that into mystery persé, but it all just 'clicked' in this one. It was in such nice balance with the rest of the story, the character development and romance development. The author kept me guessing and it was quite surprising to find out that I wasn't really able to anticipate correctly in the mystery revolving the WHO IS BEHIND ALL THIS? I loved being surprised when finding this all out.

I think the romance brewing between these two characters was just incredible. HOOK.LINE.and SINKER. I was a goner right from the start. I loved these characters as individuals so much already but them together? LOVED IT SO FRIGGING MUCH.

There was chemistry, there was banter, there was laughter, intensity and tenderness. I couldn't get enough of the romance bits and pieces in it. The author really knows her way around writing down sexual tension to perfection. The build up is just amazingly well done and blends in perfectly with the actual romance development.

When it comes to the writing: I think it's just amazing how the author is able to write a plot-driven storyline, with mystery and suspense and that she's also able to develop the characters so incredibly well, as well as writing down such an incredible in depth romance.

- CONCLUSION -

Overall, this was an extremely enjoyable read from beginning till end. I devoured page by page and would've finished it in one-sitting if I didn't have to take care of my family in between, lol. I really couldn't get enough of it. Every second I could spare, I spent reading this book.

This - and don't forget the first book; Locked 'n Load of course! - is a series I'd recommend to anyone who likes a plot driven story-line involving cops and K-9 elements, mystery, suspense and a really believable and intense romance. It's well written, fast-paced, enthralling and captivating. This author has me craving more already!

This book foresaw in my every need: It surprised me, it shocked me, it had me falling for these amazing characters and the amazing dogs present and it held me captive until the very last page. Sexy cops and brave K-9's who'll steal your heart. What more could you want for? Exactly! So my last message to you? GO READ THIS BOOK ASAP! You won't regret it!

I received a copy of Armed 'N' Ready by Tee O'Fallon from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This is the first novel by Tee O'Fallon that I have read, but I was quickly hooked on her writing style and engaged until the final page. She spun an interesting story with excitement, danger, fun, and humor. She also incorporated believable chemistry and steamy moments - plus well written dialogue (yep, an actual plot in this novel) - between the main characters. The protagonists, Andi and Nick, were both likeable and relateable.

It was a fun book to curl up by the fire on a cold winter day. I would read a future novel by Tee O'Fallon without hesitation.

Wow, I didn't see that coming. I enjoy a book that can keep me guessing.
Nick comes off as unapproachabe in the beginning of this book. I'm glad that Andi gives him a chance.

I read the first book in this series so I was really excited for a chance to read this. Once I started reading I had to stay up until I finished it.

This is the story of Massachusetts State Trooper Nick Houston and his K9 Saxon. They are on the trail of an illegal gun dealer. His best lead is Andi Hardt owner of the Dog Park Cafe.

Andi has put everything she has into the cafe now it's all in jeopardy. She is a suspect and she needs to cooperate or lose it all.

This was a great and unique story I really liked the main characters and couldn't wait to see what happened. You should really check this book out. I will be recommending this book to my friends and I can't wait for the next book in the series.

I received an ARC of this hook from Netgalley and here is my honest review.

Loved this book! It opened with a bang and moved so swiftly that I found myself turning pages just as quickly as possible to see what happened next. Andi owns a dog friendly restaurant when she finds herself as being investigated for illegal funds transfers. Since Andi has no idea what the police are talking about, she agrees to cooperate as they investigate her former boyfriend, the one actually committing the illegal acts. When Nick, of the state police, inserts himself into her restaurant as a bartender working undercover, she has no use for him and only wants her name cleared. However, she starts to become as smitten with Nick as Nick is with her. Unfortunately, Nick's case and Andi's ex-boyfriend keep interfering with their romance, often with great danger.

I couldn't put this book down. It's the second book I've read by this author and I already can't wait to read her next book. What could be better than sexy cops and K9s?.... I've added the author to my must read authors' list and, if you enjoy the genre, you probably should add her to yours as well. This one is a must read.

ARMED 'N READY is my first book by Tee O'Fallon but won't be the last! I'll definitely be looking forward to the rest of this K9 series! This was an incredible story full of suspense and surprises!

Suffice to say that I downloaded this book yesterday evening around half past eleven and finished it at half past five...

I really loved this book! I laughed and I was shocked and I held my breath - Nick and Andi, our hero and our heroine kept me on my toes. Andi was an amazing character, I loved that she was capable and no push-over but someone who fights for what (or whom) she wants. With Andi and Nick's pasts, well, they had their work cut out for them because experiences like that aren't easy to overcome. Not at all. And then - this end? *SIGH*

Well-written and fast-paced with a captivating and well-plotted story, this book really kept me glued to my reader. I tried to sleep, really but... I failed. This was the first book by Tee O'Fallon that I've read and I must admit that I picked it up because it reminded me of the books by Katie Ruggle that I adore and sure enough, it didn't disappoint, not at all! This was definitely not the last book by the author and I can't wait for the next book in this series!
