Very nice, easy to read book on relationship and communication. I really like her warm yet direct style of writing which made it easy to absorb her points. An insightful book for those just starting out in exploring their relationship and how to deepen their connection with others.

The Letter Code by Krystal White is a free NetGalley ebook that I read in early February.

I was a little concerned about the verbiage of this book - not if or if it won’t be PC, but if it might be too New Age, ego massage, we’re all a special snowflake. Once it actually got into it, it's like a really long magazine article, complete with multiple-choice self- evalution quizzes. To figure out your own emotio-perceptio-awareness, I guess? Being an A, W, H, or Y - seeking support, interpersonal growth, personal growth, or partnership: there's a full definition of each, well, letter, on who they are, what they want (as an individual or a partner), and how to respond to a letter persona within a relationship.

Although this book was easy to read, I found it a bit too general and woolly. It is easy to see yourself in all four categories and it is difficult to put yourself in one. Sometimes when methods are generalised too much for ease of use they lose their effectiveness. It is quite difficult to accept that 25% of the population all love in the same way and can be given the same solutions. I was a little bit disappointed not to find anything really useful, but other people might be able to relate to the letters more easily. Any book that sets out to help people improve their relationships is extremely welcome, and while this book might not be for me, it might be just the thing for many others. Good luck and thank you
