I don’t think that you can ever go wrong with a Hallmark book! Delaney and Wyatt were so sweet together and I was rooting for them the whole time! If you are looking for a lighthearted, sweet romance than this is definitely for you!

I enjoyed this summer hallmark romance. That was a little too precidatable to me. But sometimes you just need a sweet romance to take one's mind off life for a bit.

Delaney and Wyatt have been friends for years! Desperate to help Wyatt save his family's campground, Delaney sends an audtion tape to be on an episode of her favorite television show.

When the film crew arrives, it suddenly doesn't seem like such a good idea. Wyatt's vision for the future of his campground is radically different from the show producer's idea, and the sparks fly.

With the assistance of a lovable cast if characters, Delaney is determined to have things work out.

Love on Location is an easy, entertaining read, suitable for any age.

In the interest of full disclosure, I received a free digital copy of this title to review from Net Galley.

I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I'm so pleased that Hallmark now has books to go along with their terrific movies. Love on Location, by Cassidy Carter was released in March 1029 and I discovered it shortly after that. So sweet.

Delaney Phillips and Wyatt Andrews have been friends forever. A long lasting, true, friendship is not to be tampered with, not to be ruined and lost. Wyatt's family has owned Cabin In The Pines resort for generations and it's now failing. Delaney has been working out how to save the place. Enter a reality TV show. Gosh, the only thing real is that the show is on TV. The meat of the book is relationships. The loyal employees, a crazy Zen aunt, a tween-ager and of course our couple. Delaney and Wyatt circle around each other for most of the book. Neither one wants to rock the boat but their attraction keeps growing. I love how a BFF became a true love. Was the love always there? Maybe some form that changed with time. It was a sweet journey. Hallmark must have high standards, I've not yet been disappointed.

What an absolutely delightful book! Love on Location tells about a campgrounds that is struggling financially. Delaney, a long-time employee of the campgrounds invites a reality TV show to come to the campgrounds in hopes of reviving and restoring the campgrounds. This novel combines strong family values, lifetime friendships, single-parenting, reality TV, and romance. It is a fast, easy read, but includes more depth than many Hallmark books. Great read!!!

Is there only one solution? Be surprised!
Cassidy Carter writes family-centered romances. "Love on Location" is her second book published by Hallmark Publishing after "The perfect Catch". Delaney Phillips is glad to be working at the "Cabins in the Pines" campground and cabins although the place is not running well anymore. She is divorced and has a daughter, Rachel. In order to improve things she had the idea to sent an audition video to get the "Cabins in the Pines" on "The ABC's of Business" reality TV show to make it known and get new customers. Wyatt Andrews is Delaney's boss and childhood friend. He is also the owner of "Cabins in the Pines" and does not want the world to know that he is failing with what his parents and grandparents built up. One of the struggles of "Cabins in the Pines" is caused by a new highway bypass that leaves the "Cabins in the Pines" isolated. Hr is trying to get a loan from the bank. Others, such as his aunt Ursula, Maisie, and Slatter, invest themselves well, but it is not enough and the deal that the bank offers to Wyatt is not acceptable.
Alexandra Brent-Collingsworth is the organizer and financial force of "The ABC's of Business" reality TV show. Her improvements of "The Cabins in the Pines" that are done while filming the parts for the TV show go beyond Delaney's wish list, but will her ultimate goal be acceptable to Wyatt, will it be the only logical solution, or is there another solution for all of them?
This is the first book by Cassidy Carter which I read and I highly recommend it to readers who are looking for an easy read that also offers some surprises. It is a clean and wholesome romance story with enjoyable and believable, even if sometimes annoying characters. Additionally the book includes the Hallmark recipe for "Blueberry Cottage Cheese Pancakes."
The complimentary copy of this book was provided by the publisher through NetGalley free of charge. I was under no obligation to offer a positive review. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

This is a sweet, clean romance. Delaney and Wyatt have been friends for always. They grew up running around the campground his parents owned. Now, Delaney is divorced and back home with her daughter. Wyatt is running the campground after his parents death and Delaney is his "girl Friday". The business is floundering after a bypass was built so Delaney applies to a reality show that comes in and helps businesses that are in trouble. Chaos ensues.

I liked the characters. It sounds like one big family at the campground. Each person is different; some are funny, others quirky, some shy. There is some angst when Delaney and Wyatt both think they are in love with each other, but neither wants to damage their friendships. The writing style is easy-to-read and the story moves long at a nice pace.

As with every Hallmark novel. the story is clean, sweet, and full of laughs and sighs. Love On Location is an adorable venture into the heart of falling in love with someone you never imagined you would and learning that some change isn't always a bad thing. I loved this cute story!!!

I liked this story. With the number of reality shows on tv you figure the trend would work its way into the book world. Delaney enters her best friend and boss's business into a contest to help work places that need help to survive. Cabins in the Pines has been losing business since the new highway bypassed their town and now the fixer upper reality show is going to change their way of life forever. Both Delaney and Wyatt have some misgivings about the plan and as their friendship blossoms into romance the pressure builds to make a decision. Nice story from Hallmark and I'm thinking we will soon see this as a movie. I received a copy of this ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.

As much as I want to say that I absolutely adored and fell head over heels in love with this story, just as Delaney and Wyatt are for one another...unfortunately I can't. That's certainly not to say that this wasn't enjoyable to read - it was, nor is it to say that I found any of the characters annoying or that the writing was bad or anything to that effect. It was fine, and it would be a great book for many others who enjoy this type of - girl-loves-boy-but-is-scared-of-ruining-friendship kind of story line. But personally, this book just didn't 'click' with me - I found it more of an effort to finish the book than I have with others from Hallmark, or even from Cassidy Carter. I wasn't the hugest fan of the way the reality show was written in, for some reason, it just didn't feel 'right' - and perhaps that's because of how awful the show's host was (as it was meant to be), or perhaps just because the show didn't sound like something I would watch...
Overall:
This is a cute and sweet story about two best friends, Delaney and Wyatt, along the lines of your typical (which I need to stress is not a bad thing) best friends - soul mates storyline. Wyatt owns and runs his family business of Cabins in the Pines, a camping and holiday spot which is how shall we say..a little worse for wear. Delaney is divorced and has a sweet daughter, and she convinces Wyatt to audition for the reality show "The ABC's of Business", and the stories and drama go from there.
Characters:
Perhaps here is where I struggled the most with this novel - I just felt that the characters were a bit too...boring? or perhaps plain? They had personality sure, but I just felt I was missing that spark from either Delaney or Wyatt. They both seemed to be quite laid-back and the quiet type. They fit well as a couple, but I just missed that spark.
Speaking of spark however, I straight up disliked/hated Alex - as I think I was supposed to. If anything, it's possible that her characters bipolarity/duplicity was overdone, although towards the end it was nice to see her become more nuanced, with dimension as to the nature and reasoning of her behaviour.
Storyline:
The storyline was fine, with a few 'shocks' here and there, specifically re:the tv show *cough cough*the rat*cough cough*, and nothing too much out of the ordinary - the usual twists and turns of a best-friends romance. I'm not complaining, I love a good best friends romance as much as the next gal, but overall, it was just normal.

Perhaps, not my favourite book I've read this year, but by no means does that mean I didn't like it. I did. But the placidity of the characters (by my assessment - not everyone may agree) and perhaps a lack of connection between myself and the writing, meant that I only just 'liked' this novel and didn't fall head over heels for it. Overall, still a nice read, particularly if you're looking for an easy, sweet best friends romance.

NB: I was generously provided an ARC of this novel from the publisher and author via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.
