What. Just. Happened? This ending left me wondering what the heck just happened and how I didn't see it coming.

A mystery child shows up at Tessa's house, claiming Tessa is his mom, and suddenly she is suspected of abduction, completely turning her life upside down. The entire book I was torn between "I feel so bad for her, she didn't ask for this craziness" and "oh my gosh is she guilty, is there a crazy twist?" What ultimately happens? You'll just have to read it and find out. This one was a quick read for me, and it sits apart from the many psychological thrillers of recent months because of the way I connected with Tessa.

AMAZING! Just simply amazing!! I freaking loved this book. And oddly what I loved best was that well over half the book I had no idea what was going on! I couldn’t even fathom how the kid got there, who is was, heck I couldn’t accurately tell you if Tessa was actually crazy or not... and I loved every minute! So suspenseful, please read this book! Def won’t be disappointed.

When Tessa Markham arrives home, a cold and lonely place for her, a little boy is in her kitchen. ‘Are you my mommy?’ he asks. How could he possibly have gotten there? He tells her that an angel brought him. Teresa calls her ex-husband, and the police, knowing that someone must be looking for their lost child. The police suspect her of kidnapping him, turning her life upside down. She wonders herself if she’s losing her mind and can no longer remember what she’s doing. Her ex-husband thinks so.

This is a riveting page-turner and an excellent book. The author brings Tessa’s confusion to life, and the reader shares her anxiety with her. I highly recommend this book.
