*I received this book free from Entangled Publishing via NetGalley.*

Cecilia has to be one of the best PA's ever. The things she's had to do over the past five and a half years is beyond insane. Everything from supporting Nerds habits to consoling Wade's latest conquest. Not to mention doing it 24/7.

Wade is kind of self centered. Yes, he's NFL royalty. But, to everyone in his hometown he's just Wade, and no one minds telling him the way things are. Credence may be a dying town, but the people in it are refreshing.

Being in Credence effects Cecilia and Wade in ways neither ever expected. The small town magic wound around them changing a strictly work relationship into a friendship then into...more.

"It's just...seeing you in my number...it hits me right here." He slapped his abdomen. "I'm not one of those guys who needs to brand a woman, but when I see you in that shirt it makes me want to get a big black Sharpie or a tattoo gun and mark it all over your skin."

Nothing But Trouble is an entertaining romance story that's wrapped in humor. I love how Wade's ego gets shot down by Cecilia and his hometown friends. I loved his mother and her no nonsense attitude. Honestly, I loved all the characters. Amy Andrews brings each and every one of them to life. From Wyatt and Jenny to Wilbur and George they all grab your attention and make you adore them.

After reading this one it feels weird that I was able to actually read this the whole way through and not pick it apart and go off the deep end when some of my major pet peeves reared their ugly heads. I feel like I should treat myself for not automatically hating this one, lol. I surprised myself by actually liking this one as much as I did.

So this book is something outside my comfort zone. I don’t usually like reading about star athletes and their co-workers/employees/acquaintances falling in love because typically the H is a huge giant manwhore, the h isn’t, there are usually one sided feelings (or unrequited love) and in this trope it’s almost a guarantee that there will be a lot of unwanted details about his past conquests and the OW are always in your face and that type of drama and angst isn’t fun for me.

CC and Wade have a complicated relationship. Both heavily rely on the other but never allowed themselves to see each other as anything other than professions. AKA boss and employee.

It’s not until they move in together and small town life and family force them to see each other in a different light. Suddenly they aren’t just boss and employee, their friends and partners, confidants and team mates. This can definitely be classified as a friends to lovers romance and again it complete took me by surprise how much I liked these two really getting to know each other and actually slowly and progressively falling in love.

As far as their romance goes, this one is a slow burn. It’s not unrequited love either. These two do not develop one sided feelings for each and pine away while the other goes about their love life with no care in the world. I really appreciated that small detail because the overflow of info regarding Wade were pesky enough, but if CC had liked him liked him and he was able to ignore her for almost 6 years? That would have been a hard sell and a big fat fail for me. This only worked for me because his past stayed his past and there was no OW drama. Wade becomes 100% devoted to CC and he never wavers from her or his feelings once realized.

There are a few intertwining plotlines in the story and they all pull at your heartstrings and show you a vulnerable side of the MC. For CC is was her reason behind her California dreams and her estranged father’s funeral *sniff sniff* and I loved meeting Wade’s family. Especially his brother Wyatt and his mother. Both were great secondary characters.

This was a cute read. The playboy who always got what he wanted and his best friend, his assistant who was secretly in love with him, wanted to break free.

Wade and CC were really cute together as friends and finally as a couple. As Wade starts to realize his feelings for CC, which was really fantastic to read. He just about melted my heart when he talked about how much he needed her and loved her. Very sweet read. There was a bonus couple in there also, which was good to read.

Funny & sexy. This was such a fun read. I generally love the books by this author, and this one didn't disappoint. I really felt like I was inside the hero and heroine's head. Both were flawed, and likeable. I loved the way the small town was depicted, rallying together to try and keep their town on the map. And the supporting characters are fabulous, so I'm looking forward to the next book as I'm presuming this was the start of a series. I highly recommend this enjoyable story.

Nothing But Trouble is book 1 in the Credence, Colorado series by Amy Andrews and a great start to a new series!

Cecelia “CC” Morgan has been former NFL quarterback Wade Carter‘s personal assistant for over five years and she decides it’s time to move on so she gives her notice...to say Wade is done is an understatement. He is determined to get her to change her mind so he takes her to his hometown of Credence to help him finish his book and finally show her there’s more to their relationship than employer/employee...will the Hail Mary work??

Amusing, light hearted, chemistry, humor, small-town romance and a friendship that moves into something more!

Cecilia Morgan has had no life for the past 5 years while working as former NFL quarterback Wade Carter, as he has her on duty 24/7 without considering her feelings on the matter. She's about 6 months from finally being done, and she's at the point to where she doesn't even care if she breaks the contract as she's tired of his self contentedness, but as she's giving her notice, his father's health fails, and he pretty much threatens to sue her if she does. So they compromise, she goes home with him for 3 months, and then she can give her notice early. So off they go to Credence, where it's so small, that the younger generation has left the building. Now they're under the same roof, dealing with small town politics (where they're on opposite sides), and all of a sudden sparks are flying. When she has a family emergency, he follows a few days later knowing that she needs him, and they light the sheets on fire, but now things are really bad, so Wade is going to have to throw a hail mary to fix it or lose her forever. Nothing But Trouble was one of those stories that intrigued me because of the romance/football theme, but I truly didn't see it coming because I LOVED LOVED LOVED it! The small town of Credence was so delightful, and entertaining that it kept me laughing hard throughout with all of the colorful secondaries, including a young dog who is always going rogue, and a piglet/piglets. I mean come on, how can you not want to check it out when piglets are involved?! Not to mention, the town has to entice women to visit as all the yummy men have no young women to settle down to, so yeah, that's the place to go to. Anyway, I could go on & on all day about this story, (especially since Wade played his career for my beloved Denver Broncos) but that would just waste time when everyone should just be one clicking this baby! I cannot wait to read more of this series, and HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I smiled from start to finish reading NOTHING BUT TROUBLE by Amy Andrews- and swooned! Butterflies in my tummy, I tell you!💕I love Wade and C.C.’s sassy banter, chemistry, and relationship. The storyline is engaging, emotional and romantic. The secondary characters, family and small town community have already charmed me. Oh! They have piglets, too! This is definitely a series I’ll be reading. I am totally hooked! “Heat. Sass. Laughs. This book has it all!” seems right! Highly recommend it! I can't wait to read the next book in the series. This is the first book I've read by the author. It won't be the last!

I have voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of this title given to me via NetGalley. Wow what can I say about this title it was just an awesome read. This book was just something so wonderfully different I’ve never quite read anything like this. You should read to find out you won’t be disappointed. I’m definitely going to read more by this author.

This book is great on many levels-- a host of eccentric characters, an intriguing small town setting, excellent writing -- so why only 3 stars? The main couple is a dud. I just couldn't get into them. Wade Carter, retired Denver Broncos star quarterback, is fabulously good looking and fabulously rich, but at 38, he is a "spoiled toddler," unable to buy even his own condoms. That chore and almost everything else in his life is the responsibility of CC, who, at 32, has spent the past six years as his 24/7 PA, read indentured servant, a role she agreed to take for a hefty pay that would earn her enough to buy her dream: a house on the ocean. How these two exit their assigned roles and grow up to see each other as full people is the thrust of the book, but I just didn't care. Andrews explains why the two were so emotionally stunted-- each had been wounded earlier in life -- but I didn't buy that Wade in more than a decade hadn't overcome an early lover's betrayal, especially since he came from a family with role-model loving parents. At the least, you would think a man with his smarts would have grown tired of his promiscuous uncommmitted sex life and sought out a counselor. CC should have kicked him to the curb. I hope the next book in this series is better.

OMG! I so fell in love with Credence and every person who lives there. This is a fantastic start to a new series and I’m not sure I can wait for the next installment. A retired NFL super hero quarterback and his feisty PA are a perfect storyline. I can’t express how much I enjoyed Wade and CC’s journey. It took them a long time to figure their stuff out, but when they did, POW! And Wyatt, Wade’s older brother, with his secret. He almost stole the show with how sweet and vulnerable he is. And the rest of the characters were a perfect addition for this book. This is actually my first Amy Andrews book. I’m not sure how she snuck by me. But I’m hooked on her writing now. Just a swoon worthy romance that leaves you with all the feels.

Credence Colorado #1, I would gladly move to Credence Colorado!!! When done well this trope can be amazing, and Amy Andrews did. I loved the whole book, the attitude and the chemistry between Wade and CC kind of reminded me of Tony Stark and Pepper Potts, she's there every step of the way and he doesn't realize the truth of his feelings until it's almost too late. This is my first Amy Andrew and I'm glad I found it I look forward to the other books in this series, the men of Credence warrant good books for the rest of the series; I'm particularly looking forward to the sheriff and the erotic romance author.

Wade finally came home to Credence after his father had to get a pacemaker retired from his epic football career all he was doing was trying to write his memoirs, the operative word is trying. CC has only two real goals in life to live near the beach and be completely self reliant and after working for Wade for almost six years being at his beck and call 24/7/365 she has enough money saved up she can do that. But Wade has one more job for her to move to Credence with him for the summer and help him write his book, do that and he'll let her out of her contract early with no repercussions.

But what happens neither one was expecting. For CC two words, "Farmer Porn" from the first moment she saw Wade on the farm getting back to his roots she started to look at him in a different light throw in a cute piglet and a puppy and her ovaries just about exploded. Wade started to learn more about CC and with the knowledge that she will be leaving him he starts to realize all sorts of things. CC also began helping Wade's mother organize an event that would bring more women to the small town. There is also a delightful side story about Wade's brother Wyatt finding a girl.

Overall, I loved this story. I loved Wade and CC and their dynamic. This was a fun read and I enjoyed Amy Andrew's writing style.

Thank you Netgalley for providing this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This was a pretty good, western romance. Wade is a rich, sexy football player who hires Cecelia as his PA. She doesn't take his shit but she's been at his beck and call now for 6 years. She wants to quit and buy her dream home near the ocean with the money she's made. Wade forces her to accompany him to his childhood home to help him write his book and convince her to stay. Once there they feel the attraction between them and the rest is history.

While I was amused by the quirks of the town and Cecilias cranky, sweet demeanor, I was not crazy about how arrogant, childish and annoyingly useless Wade was. The man couldn't even wash his own clothes. I didn't find this sexy at all.
But all in all, it was better than most modern westerns I've read.

An interesting story where a a strong woman takes charge of an alpha males life doesn't take his trying to run roughshod over her..

Cece has been Quarterback Wade Carters personal assistant going on five years now and is finally going to give a notice to quitting her job when he gets a call about his father's health issues. Convincing her to give him another go for a short amount of time while she helps him with his memoir they end up finding themselves complicating things as they both are currently under one roof and learning more then they ever had about eachother.

This was such a nice contemporary romance. I enjoyed getting to know about Cece and her quirks, as well as what life is like his Wades hometown. I loved watching the sparks fly, the heated exchanges, the small town drama. Nothing more I can add, just know that this really is an enjoyable read and I loved reading it and since its apart of a series I look forwards to seeing more from this author in the future.

4.5⭐⭐⭐⭐ I thoroughly enjoyed this new novel by Amy Andrews, it was full of humour with plenty of chemistry between the two main characters.

Even though this was set in small town America, I could easily see it playing out in small town Australia, which I really liked. The quirky characters and the plight of a dying country town, desparate for new blood to keep it alive, were instantly relatable.

I enjoyed the banter between smart and organised PA, CC and sports star and playboy, Wade and the way their relationship morphed from just business to friendship and more once they arrived in Wade's hometown.

These two characters, both dealing with issues left over from past relationships, have a few things to sort out before they can realise what they actually might have in each other.

A fun, quirky and sexy romance.

This is an absolute reading pleasure and great debut for the Credence, Colorado series by gifted author, Amy Andrews. I just couldn't put the book down with the unforgettable characters, small town vibe including quirky residents, witty dialogue, family dynamic and so much more. I loved smart and sassy Cecilia "CC" Morgan, personal assistant to former NFL quarterback Wade "The Catapult" Carter and enjoyed their undeniable chemistry, repartee and slow burn heartwarming romance.

If you enjoy well-crafted, sexy, sassy and fun contemporary romance, don't miss "Nothing But Trouble". I can't wait to see what happens next in Credence, Colorado book two. I received an advance reader copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving my honest review. I liked the book so much, I purchased a copy for my keeper library.

Well now, this book was a great surprise! New author for me, so I wasn’t sure how I was going to like it given the cover looked like it was a cowboy type story, not that there’s anything at all wrong with cowboys! What I found was a very funny story that kept me very entertained throughout the entire book. CC was a woman to be reckoned with, which is exactly why Wade Carter had her in his employment for almost six years, problem was, he didn’t realize just how much he cared for her until his father had a medical emergency that took him back home to Cadence Colorado with CC In tow to help his brother with the family hog farm until his dad was back on his feet. I found this story hysterical, Wades hometown friends were nothing short of sex on legs, and Wade’s mother and fellow town council came up with the idea to have girls brought in from other areas to possibly open their own businesses, and to offer the bachelors of that small town some much needed companionship, the book really takes off to give you one heck of a great story.. Wade’s brother Wyatt was a great character in the book, would loved to have more of him and Jenny in the book, but was completely entranced with how well written the story was and with Wade and CC themselves. Story was just plain fun to read, highly recommend it to anyone wanting to laugh, cry a bit, and definitely swoon over some hot small town bachelors that will have you booking a flight to Cadence in no time! Well worth the read!

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.
