Have you ever been there? where do you think everything disappeared? faded? went away? I have read many books on faith issues, testimonies about people who believed and then regretted or forget about everything they were standing for. Comprehend the human mind, the faith and other unseen issues represent a big mystery to me. I enjoy reading different perspectives about this topic that is why I choose to give this book a try. There are some topics I don't agree with her and others I do, probably that it is what you are going to feel when you read her lines. Reading bible examples help and talk about them with others too, that is what you are going to feel and think about. We all struggle with doubt at times and it's important to be able to be honest about it. I know of some who have left the church because they were criticized for doubting. This book does a good job of talking about doubting and what is good about it, and what isn't.

I had high hopes for this book based on the blurb and the idea that it would "allow us to ask the hard questions." But i found it to be pretty biased and... basic to the religion concept. It was okay, but definitely not the best book i've read on the topic/lifestyle.

This book allows us to ask how we deal with the hard questions about God, The Church and the Bible. This book reminds us that we are not the only one’s who have suffered doubt, great Christians such as Mother Teresa struggled through doubt.





Dominic Done reminds us with humor, heart and candor through his own experience, and Biblical stories as well as other stories he points out that not only is doubt a normal part of Faith, it can in fact be a path to a stronger and more vibrant faith.





I give When Faith Fails five out of five stars!
