Y’all this is so much more than what the cartoonish cover gives us. It’s a funny, steamy, cute rom com but it also reminds us how family isn’t always blood. Go read this. It’s sweet. Thanks to @helenahunting @netgalley and @hachettebooks for this review copy.

This extended preview gave me the prologue and the first four chapters – which was enough for me to get immersed in this story. And it seems this story has a little bit of something for everybody. Let me enlighten you.

Celebrity Hero. Are you a fan of the whole celebrity trope? Well, Daxton was a child actor. To make matters even better, our protagonist – Kailyn – is a huge fan. They actually meet in college in the cutest way ever. (I’ll let you read that yourself) Dax isn’t the average jerky celebrity either. I really wasn’t expecting that and it was rather refreshing.

Friends-to-Enemies-to-Lovers? Yep, Dax and Kailyn have history. That adorable meet cute took place eight years ago in law school. When Dax and Kailyn are reunited, Kailyn shares that Dax did something to sabotage her getting top spot in their class. There is some hostility that left me wanting to know more.

Single Parent. As it is revealed in the description, a tragic accident happens that leaves Dax legal guardian over his little sister. I don’t know about you, but I am a sucker for single parent romances!

Possible Office Romance? Kailyn’s boss is dying for her to talk Dax into joining their firm. She is promised a big promotion if she is able to accomplish it.

Overall, I was intrigued enough to add this one to my TBR. I can’t wait to pick it up soon.

I love the extended preview. It's funny and piques my interest in the rest of the book. I was hooked from the start and didn't want it to end.

I enjoyed this introduction to the story! It is told through two different points-of-view, Kailyn and Daxton's. I really admire Kailyn's character so far, she seems smart, bold and determined. The preview definitely left me wanting more and I am excited to pick up the rest of the story!

Do not let this cute cover full you! This book dives into some strong and deep emotions. This book was a joy to read.
Nothing gets me to turn the pages faster when reading a fun and sassy rom-com book. The main charters had crazy chemistry and I could not get enough of Kaitlyn's sass and strong lead role. She had me laughing out loud with her quick witted remarks and had my heart ache for what she was going through. Dax had all the sex appeal you want to read in a lead role in a rom-com. He is smart and funny and damn sexy, you're sure to fall in love with him quick and fast. I would almost call this a second chance love story and will have you hooked from beginning to the end.
This book truly has it all ... romance .. comedy .. drama .. mystery!

I will definitely be purchasing this book to read the full novel. It pulls you in quick. Can't wait to read more of this exciting book.

I only received an extended preview from NetGalley and from what I read, it's well written and I'm interested in reading more.

This is a second chance romance and what I've read in this preview has left me wanting some. I know its already out and I'm running out to buy it as soon as I can.
This book follows Kailyn and Daxton who meet in college. Daxton is a tv star who Kailyn has watched and loved for years so she completely fangirls when she runs in to Daxton on their first day of law school. Then fast forward five years they have had a miscommuincation and have lost touch then after a tragedy they are thrown back in to each others lives. Will they end up together? I can't wait to find out. A must read for any fan of romanic story.

I read an extended preview of this book and really enjoyed it. It had a gripping beginning and the characters seemed well rounded and three dimensional enough to carry the story further. Looking forward to reading the entire thing!

After reading this extended preview of Meet Cute I am definitely looking forward to reading the entire book. it definitely has cuteness bursting in the preview itself. I especially like the tension between the two characters and how they seem to have quite a few assumptions about each other. I like the fact that I got pulled into the book and the lead character's' lives right away, especially just in few chapters to make me invested already.

This book was funny, entertaining and full of angst. I am obsessed with everything that Helena Hunting puts out.

I liked what I was able to preview. I cant wait till I can get ahold of the entire books :) I would say based off of this I would give it a 3.5 star rating.

I really loved this Preview for this book.
I never read anything by Helena Hunting before, even though I own one of her books.
I was hooked from the very first moment and really dove into the story from the very first moment.
The book seems to be just the right one for my and I really look forward to reading it as soon as possible - and until then I'll just read the book I own to shorten the time until the release.

Super cute story so far. A backstory between the two main characters seems like it’s going down the enemies to lovers trope which I love! The writing is engaging and warm, with laugh out loud moments. Will definitely have to pick up a copy of this book to continue reading.

Great preview, made me want to go out and get the book right away. More than I expected based on the title and cover. Both of the characters are likable. Toss in a villain aunt and a snarky teen and I think the rest of it will be enjoyable. Looking forward to the rest of it. Thank you NetGalley for the preview.

Super cute preview it had me wanting to pick up this book right away. I love anything Helena writes, she's a definite go to author.

I really liked this book, I expected something totally different but the book did not disappoint me and the fact that it's so well writing helps a lot.

Meet Cute was a decent romance, but there was nothing special about it for me. I think the title was a bit misleading because the story was very different than what was presented on the cover. I didn't connect with either of the characters, and I was frustrated with some of the plot points. I was able to figure out the ending from fairly early on. I would have liked a few more twists.
