This extended preview is all I ever wanted! I have already checked locally for the book because I need to know more! I love a quirky awkward and slightly immature heroine who has a coming over age romantic experience with a untrustworthy and questionably sweet boycrush. If you love a cute feel-good romantic comedy than I'd recomend this even after just the preview.

Thanks #netgally for the extended preview.

This is a well written book. The characters are described well. It made me cry but it was good. I would recommend this book.

I really enjoyed this sampler. It was definitely not what I expected from the cover. Will continue to read the book.

This extended preview connected with me from the start. A crush of a famous actor turned enemies-to-lovers? Great premise, quirky and fun tone of voice. Very enjoyable.

Thanks Net Galley for the preview!

I loved this quick snippet and would love to read more. The characters pulled me in instantly and the descriptions made me feel like I could visualize their expressions. I am intrigued as to where the story will go and what will happen to Emme. I feel like her story, although isn't the main focus will really drive the plot. I would love to see the trials and tribulations of Dax as her guardian. I will be picking up the completed copy for sure!

Meet Cute Extended Preview

I am so excited to read the entire book that after reading the preview I looked twice for the rest of the storry. I was so bummed when I realized it was just a brief look into the book. So far this book is cute, funny and sad. You will experience different emotions and I can not wait to read the book i its entirety.

On her first day of law school, Kailyn Flowers literally ran into her teenage crush, Daxton Hughes and ended up fangirling over him and confessing her love in front of his friends. After their embarrassing encounter and being in the same class, the two became friends. Until Dax's unexpected betrayal.

Years after law school, Dax unexpectedly showed up in Kailyn's office, needing her help with his 13-year-old sister. She hasn't forgotten what Dax did in law school, but she can't turn him down either. With their undeniable chemistry, their meetings turned into dates and soon Kailyn is already starting to treat Dax and his sister like family.

I read the extended preview and immediately purchased the ebook version right after reading it! I thought I can't just not buy this book after knowing how good the preview is.

I can't count how many times my heart broke while reading this book. I thought Helena Hunting surely did make the characters express their emotions so that we, readers, could feel them as if they were our own.

***
I just did not expect how intense Kailyn and Dax's relationship would be, considering the cover and the title. And at times, I was thinking when are they going to stop? But it was worth continuing reading as the ending is the cutest!

Still, this book is cute, funny, heart-breaking and relatable and I thought it was worth the purchase!

After reading this extended preview of Meet Cute I’m really looking forward to reading the entire book. Helena Hunting is a new author to me and I love her writing style and the characters she writes about with all of their insecurities, pretenses and all the floating pheromones that surround them.

An intriguing start to what feels like a great book. Meet Cute starts with a - surprise, surprise - cute meet cute. I'll definitely check out the entire story.

Kailyn Flowers had a massive teenage crush on the cute teen actor Daxton Hughes, and when she (literally) runs into him in law school, she fangirls all over again. But then they form somewhat of a friendship in their law classes, until Dax betrays her. Now, 5 years later, he needs her help navigating his new and shocking guardianship of his teenage sister. While weary of being hurt again, Kailyn finds it in her to help him and rebuild a friendship.

This excerpt was really fun and cute. I enjoy romances with substance, and this one seems like it will deliver on some multi-dimensional characters, witty humor, and raw emotion. At the beginning, Kailyn seems a little weak or silly, but she definitely might be a powerhouse to stand her ground against Daxton. I'm excited to read the whole book and see how their friendship (and more?) comes back to life.

This was an excerpt for Meet Cute by Helena Hunting. Thank you to NetGalley and Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for the advance copy excerpt in exchange for an honest review.

All I can say is Wow. I am so heart broken that I haven't picked up the book yet. This is too dang perfect. Story is great. Writing is wonderful and story line is absolute perfection. I love the few interactions we see between Daxton and Kailyn. I like the secondary character teases. I feel the sadness as if it is my own.

This was a 38 page preview which I think was enough to get a good idea of the story. It opens with the traditional romcom meet cute between the typical slightly quirky clumsy heroine and the sweet but slightly jerkish hero. Based on the preview I have a pretty good idea where the main story and subplots are going to go but I think it will be a pleasant nearly indulgent read.

Although this was only a brief clip of the complete book, Meet Cute immediately drew me in! I could tell that the enemy-to-lovers trope in this contemporary romance was going to be strong, and a good enemy-to-lovers story is a good palate cleanser for me. Now I want to read the entire book!!!!

I received a free clip in exchange for an honest review by #netgalley.

Review- I really enjoyed how quickly the story started! Literally falling into someone’s arms once is awkward but twice in the same day- that’s adorable! I need to find the rest of this book to know how it turns out!!!! But it was great From the preview.

I love everything HH writes and this book was amazingly beautiful with a perfect balance of angst, laugh out loud moments and romance overall.
I’ll post my review everywhere where applicable and on my blog pages.
Thanks for the opportunity to read and review it.

I enjoyed the excerpt of this book that I read. I was really entertained by how much of a mess Kailyn is, it created a nice light character, which was then easily added more depth to by the drama that happens at the end of the excerpt. Although this seemed a bit sudden, it drew me in, and kept me intrigued towards the end of this section.
These first 38 pages really intrigued me and I'd probably read the rest of the book to find out what happened.

A great “meet cute” is one of my favorite parts of a romance novel. If you’re not familiar with the term, a “meet cute” is the sweet or humorous way in which two main characters first meet. This book has a fun yet awkward meet cute, as well as a really charming story.

Kailyn is smart and singularly focused on making partner at her law firm. I love how professional and level-headed she normally is, but she also has this dorky fangirl side. Former child TV star Dax is Kailyn’s old crush/rival.

Dax won me over with his kind heart and selflessness. The way in which Dax struggles to balance being both a loving brother and a responsible guardian to his emotional teenage sister is touching. I found Kailyn’s support of Dax and her growing relationship with Emme to be incredibly endearing. Kailyn’s romance with Dax is quite tender as well.

Although I really enjoyed the chemistry between the characters as well as the overall plot, the book is not without flaws. Some elements of the story just don’t ring true. Kailyn’s grudge against Dax is overemphasized and rather childish. Dax also has an incredibly annoying friend who pops up occasionally and shows zero character growth. I seriously have no idea why Dax is friends with him.

Ultimately, it is the emotional side of this romantic comedy that won me over. If you’re looking for an easy read with some feels, check out Meet Cute.

I am not interested in reading the whole book after the preview.

Thank you NetGalley for this ARC.

I loved this book. This is exactly the kind of fun romance that I love to read. The dialogue is quick and snappy. There is an adorable meet-cute and I love the angst between Kailyn and Daxton. I liked that the story developed Daxton into a character who is embarrassed by his past child star status and that Kailyn is obsessed with it. I immediately downloaded the book to read the rest!
