Amazing story from Alyssa. How alive the characters are as though i'm living through the story. Incredible work from Alyssa.

Loved this! This was a quick read with great characters! Seduced by the Enemy is the first Alyssa J. Montgomery book I've read and I thought it was good! Just enough angst to keep me interested....with a hot Italian guy :)

The first in Alyssa J. Montgomery new series featuring best friends, Luca, Max and Nick based in Italy, focuses on intense drama, lack of communication, and the frenzied coming together of reconciliation in the happily ever after.
Luca and Olivia are sworn enemies due to a devastating family connection and their distrust of each other precedes their relationship throughout the story. If you like your romance steeped in wordy dramatic flights of fantasy and love soaked words of unification, prepare yourself for a ride through the miasma of a three-point romance.

A story full of emotion, drama and angst. I struggled with getting into the story as I didn’t connect with either Luca or Olivia.

I voluntarily read an advanced copy.

A relationship that started with grieving siblings and a bunch of misunderstandings. This book Started off very slow but ended up being a good story.

“Seduced By The Enemy” by Alyssa J. Montgomery is your basic average romance filled with family drama, love and lost, and opposite-attract. From day one, despite having a very bad first impression filled with mistaken identities, it became more than apparent the oozing attraction between Olivia and Luca and they fight long and hard to ignore it but it becomes too much. Overall it was a pleasant read, obviously not spectacular, even though I did find it annoying that everything that could go wrong, went wrong with the lead heroine: sister and father deaths, art career dissolving, end engagement, etc. That portion of the series was a turn off and to be honest the series just lacked excitement so I decided to dropped the series. Perhaps in the future I'll restart where I dropped off.

I tried with this book, I really did but I just found the plot to be kind of all over the place. I felt like the idea was original and the story was unique, definitely not something you find in a lot of romance novels, but it just felt too convoluted to me. The first scene was too he said she said without anyone listening to each other and then the surrogate stuff was also a bit odd.
The writing felt mature and intelligent but I just couldn't get into the story and I just found myself irritated by the characters. I did like the mystery and suspense that the plot held but I still ended up DNFing around 50%.

The story of Luca and Olivia. An enemies to lovers story.

He is the twin brother of the man her sister fell in love with. Now Luca needs Olivia to help as their niece is seriously ill and needs a bone marrow transplant. Neither want to fall in love, or admit to how they feel, so what will happen to their marriage of convenience?

I received an arc copy of this book from NetGalley for my honest review. Luca and Olivia have both lost their siblings and are trying to figure out the truth behind their sibling’s relationship. It is definitely hate at first sight when she meets Luca and at first he doesn’t seem very redeemable but you quickly find out there’s more to the story of their sibling’s relationship with quite a bit of deception going on by Luca’s father. When he finds out the truth Luca tries to to do the right thing but seems to struggle. Also the relationship between Luca and Olivia seems to move very quickly from hate to love and both leads seem to waffle between their feelings which can be a bit annoying, however the story is a nice quick read. The romance aspect is very light but with a HEA. It also seems to be the start of a series about Luca’s friends although you don’t see them too much. 4 stars

I’d classify this as a sweet romance. I enjoyed the story, though I found it rather long, with some repetition. Luca appealed to me, a caring, loving tough guy. Olivia spent quite a bit of time jumping to conclusions. Overall a sweet romance, perfect for readers who don’t want lots of heat in their romance books

Sometimes your heart will take your every rationale thought and throw it out the window. Losing everything and focusing on the man who slowly made her life a living hell provided her with the driving force to make a difference. What happens when everything you knew is not what it seems? You begin to fall slowly and helplessly for the one who holds your heart captive and life is no longer the place you had envisioned for so long. It is never reasonable when you are faced with an enemy your family continues to fight with and your helpless as every beat of your heart is for your enemy. Luca will capitivate your soul as he looks for answers and let’s be honest Olivia never stood a chance in his wake.

Seduced by the Enemy is the first Alyssa J. Montgomery book I've read and I thought it was fabulous. Easy to read, likeable characters and just enough angst to keep the reader interested. Besides who wouldn't like a book with a hot Italian guy :)

Ugh, it is hard for me to write this review. At first I really didn't like Luca. Then he redeemed himself. And then bam again jerkface. Olivia seems to be on a rollercoaster ride also throughout. I guess that you could say that is a sign of a good author. When they can make you feel so many emotions.

I liked that Luca had some sort of integrity, ‘I want you very much, Olivia, but if I’d made a commitment to another, we wouldn’t be having this conversation.’ I liked this book, I liked Luca.
