Having not read the previous books in the series I found this confusing and frustrating.
The story seemed to jump about and was very difficult to follow.
I just could not seem to relate with the characters.
Maybe it would be a different review if I had read the previous books.

This was book 3 of the galactic captain series! i read all three books in a span of days and this one had to be my favourite. Ales is back with new adventures. the plot is finally beginning to make sense. I even found myself humanizing some of the characters that in the past seemed very dehumanized. Can’t wait for book 4!

Unfortunately this was not for me. Although the author has talent, and wrote decent plot, I'm not into erotica. So I'm still giving it a fair shake since it's not the genre for me, even though without that it would been OK.

This book is part of a series that needs to be read in order. I was not aware of that when starting and spent a lot of time extremely confused. It's hard to tell what I would have thought had I known the past events being referenced, but without that it was choppy and I was lost a lot.
