I like the idea of this book. Each day do something, a little thing, to help improve your life so that after a year of little changes it is possible to realise how good a year has been.

Unfortunately, I didn't find anything new or original in the suggestions. If this is the first such book of this type you have come across it will be excellent, if you are looking for something new in the genre this doesn't deliver.

And engaging read that is nicely written. Nothing particularly new in terms of ideas, but a well put together example of ways to help you.
Overall this is a very good read that I would definitely recommend.

A Shift a Day for Your Best Year Yet is a great little pocket book providing little anecdotes and words of wisdom no longer than four or five lines long. It is not something to read from cover to cover in one sitting but something you can have on your bedside cabinet or desk to pick every so often and read a couple of the excerpts. A good book to have beside you for little bursts of motivation.

While I didn't find anything particularly unique in this book, it is filled with good advice and things to think about. As with any daily affirmation book, some things will resonate and some won't as much, depending on what is going on in your life at the time you read it. This would make a good gift, especially if you need a kind of all-purpose gift- this would work well for anyone!

If you want to find wisdom, inspiration and motivation – an immediate and direct incentive to the mind and mood, then you need to get this book.

A Shift a Day for Your Best Year Yet is an absolute joy to read. I had to slow myself down to read each motivational quote because I was in such a hurry to get to the next one. It was worth my while though because there are pearls of wisdom in each, and I took something away from every one of them.

I think anyone, after reading this book, would come away feeling lighter, more optimistic, cheerfully inspired and looking at things a little more positively. It can’t be helped!

Get yourself this book. And gift it to loved ones or friends who might need a lift in spirits, or a loving gesture.

You will be so glad you did.

My opinions expressed in my review are my own.

Thank you to NetGalley and Revell, for the read of Dean Del Sesto’s, A Shift a Day for Your Best Year Yet.

A Shift a Day for your best year yet is so motivational.
It helps to keep me motivated and gives me a little boost with each quote I read.
I love books like this that keeps me up and positive.

Whenever I am feeling a little glum or unmotivated I pick a couple of quotes and get myself motivated.

This is the perfect book to have on your desk to pick up when you need a little inspiration or motivation. Better than a cup of coffee to perk you up! Really loved how simple it was but it had a huge impact. Anyone who enjoys Michael Hyatt, Robin Sharma or Tony Robbins will love this book!

Im not sure what I was expecting - even though I read the description. I’m not sure the format fits well with my kindle app as it seemed very mixed together and took me a while to réalise that these were the quotes I was reading. However, once I realised the book had started I loved the quotes (I love a good inspirational quote anyway!!) and will be filing some away to use and inspire again and again. I would encourage the people I manage to read the book too - one quote a day can be the difference between a good and a bad experience and it is a useful tool to refocus the mind. I think I will look out for the print version of the book to utilise it better
