Sam meets billionaire Taylor when she bids on him by mistake at a bachelor auction. Taylor acts cocky, so Sam pigeonholes him as a jerk. When she decides to trick him into doing volunteer work on their “date,” she expects it to freak him out, but he handles it like a rock star. As they spend the day together, they realize that they really like and are attracted to each other. They both have hang ups about relationships, so neither wants to be in one. Sam is also hiding a very painful past. As time goes on, Taylor realizes that he wants more from Sam, but a series of misunderstandings stands in their way. Can they find their HEA?

I loved Samantha, but I wanted to shake her at times. Taylor was just perfection. These two and their ongoing first date was just a wonderful book. I absolutely loved it!
