I received a free ARC from NetGAlley in exchange for an honest review.

This one isn't one I liked. The pictures were okay, but I didn't generally like the story.

I received an electronic version from Norwood House Press through NetGalley.
The message of sharing and giving to others is there but gets lost in some of the text. The Bubbly Spring shares its water; the Grumpy Spring does not. Eventually, the Grumpy Spring disappears under the leaves and vanishes from forest life. Not sure that's a message I want to share with young readers.
The softly colored watercolor illustrations bring life to the springs, forest and animals.

Bubbly and Grumpy are two springs made exactly the same way and for the same purpose - to provide water to any animal that needs it. However, Grumpy refused to allow anything to drink from his spring, but Bubbly freely gave. But when autumn comes the leaves fall into the springs, Bubbly's animal friends take care of him. Grumpy gets covered up and eventually is gone. Moral: give to others and they will take care of you.
