I don’t have grandchildren yet but I’m one of those people who preps for things. I’ve already gained some very good insight into a few things that I need to look at regarding me! I felt there is very good advice and information in this book!

I am not a grandparent myself, but I found this book to be helpful in parenting my child and in understanding what grandparents go through when they have grandchildren. The author, Larry Fowler, discussed barriers that are geographical, relational and spiritual. The advice given to overcome barriers was practical and did not sound judgmental. Fowler discussed when it is appropriate to give advice and to assist, but also when to step back and allow the parents to have say. Showing grace to our children was also discussed and I think that is helpful advice for parents and grandparents. I would recommend this book.
