Practical ~ Ordered ~ Approachable

tl;dr: With a plan, you can be fit.

I could not be less of a MMA fighter. I picked up this book because I wanted my athletic children to have more protein in their diets, as they are constantly at practice. If you like me haven't seen the interior of a gym in a decade (or two), don't feel like you should avoid this book. It is a great selection for people looking to do better about eating right (for active people). The weekly plans at the beginning are great. And, each page is laid out simply, with nutrition information and clear recipes. I really loved the breakfast section, a section that is often glossed over. Also, I liked that some of the protein options for dinner and snacks are vegetarian. Useful cookbook.

Thanks to DK and NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
