I wont go into detail about the story as i dont want to spoil the book, i see so many reviews that give 80% of the story away and it spoils it for the reader in my opinion. I loved this book, I enjoyed the story and i felt connected with the characters. The story was a real page Turner and infact my other half kept needing to tell me to put it down and go to sleep, I was gripped. Pleaseantly surprised and brilliantly written, a must read for sure.

Emperor of Mu by Jason Beveridge, an interesting read. The emperor is assassinated and must needs be replaced by the assembly. A mysterious enemy lurks in the shows and none know what the future holds. Enemies must become allies and allies become enemies.

Beveridge lays out a very intricate plot full of many twists and turns.  I enjoyed all the strange creatures and could not put the book down.  I am anxiously awaiting the next book in this series.

A very talented author. This is long, but engaging with well-crafted characters, and very good, unique plot. I look for good dialog, and that is included here along with a fast pace and some mystery. Highly recommended for epic fantasy fans.
