This book was so cute! I was a little skeptical about reading about fixing a marriage but I really loved it. Gavin is so cute and I want one!

Gavin, a professional baseball player and his wife, Thea are having major marital problems caused by miscommunication and hang-ups from their youth. Gavin gets help from his teammates who urge him to read a romantic novel and get ideas on how to get his wife back. Fascinating and original, the book kept my interest from page one.

As a romance connoisseur I can safely say that there is a certain amount of predictability to the genre. It's something most romance readers enjoy, but I'm so thrilled to see more romance writers taking risks. Adams has written an original. It's lovely to see a preexisting relationship on the page, and to have such an interesting male perspective in the novel. The historical romance chapters spliced into it were amazing and such a great nod to the genre.

This is a really cute romance. I loved the whole story. It was really fun to read with a really sweet ending. I want to read more of this author.

This was pretty fun, highly recommended for all fans of contemporary romance. In thinking over the years about romance novels, I did previously wonder why more guys didn't read them. I don't know any sane person who would want to actually live in a romance novel, but if you want the Cliff's Notes on what women want, well...

This would have benefited from another 100 pages, but it was pretty good. Like a lot of other romance novels, once the characters recognized what the underlying problem was, *poof*. Nothing IRL is so simple. The book club members were a little douchey and one-dimensional; I couldn't tell if that was jokey and on purpose, or the fate of underdeveloped secondary characters. More space to explore them would answer.

This could make a good series, with new members being roped into the book club in the future.

I absolutely loved this book! Professional athlete, Gavin Scott, thought his marriage to Thea was solid until he finds out something that devastates him. Instead of talking about it, Gavin storms out and now he has to find out how to get her back. That's when his friends tell him about the "Book Club".

The story has lots of humor but real emotion too. Gavin and Thea need to overcome their pasts and perceptions so they can move on. I hope we'll be able to find out what happens to the rest of the "Bromance Book Club" guys in future books. I highly recommend this novel!

Hilarious, but also emotional and real. I absolutely LOVED this unique story. This couple is awesome, their kids are awesome, and the book club? Well, those guys are beyond awesome! All I’m saying is we better get Mack’s story!
