I liked the idea of the plot. It was unique and interesting. The story is actually more fantasy than a romance but still good. Some mystery elements mixed in to help the story along. Not bad.

I wanted to like this book. I see this is a new author and I was rooting for her, but the story was just flat. The author is good at writing, but not very good at storytelling. DNF at 20%.
