I really enjoyed reading the extract for this book. It was gripping, thrilling and made me want to purchase the entire book. The extract made me want to find out more about the characters and to see where the story would go.

On the basis of this extract I am keen to read the  whole book when it is published, and I would be happy to recommend it.

This book was my very first by Joshilyn Jackson, but hopefully not the last! This book is about a stranger who comes into the main characters life and attempts to turn it upside down by revealing too much of Amy’s past during a game of “never have I ever”. Amy has to try to figure out a way to get rid of the woman and beat her at her own game before the woman ruins her life. This book Kept me on the edge of my seat for sure and I gave it 4 stars!!

So good. It was entertaining, nothing new but the topic It was something that people Just don't talk too much. I cared about the characters and I like the writing style, the pace and the ending. Good book.

I am instantly hooked on this book and can’t wait to read more, great sounding premise and intriguing characters. Bring on the rest!

I really didn't like it. Too boring and predictable. Yet another author that focuses on descriptive words too much and not enough on the darn story.

I think this sounds like a great novel, from what I can tell from the extract.

I didn't realise this was an extract when I started it so I was quite disappointed to come to the end of it instead of continuing on with the story. The extract definitely built suspense due to its flashback mode. 

It's also quite attractive to book lovers and readers because of the involvement of a book club - it makes us feel more relatable and closer to home.

I apologise for the short review, but I find it difficult to review on extracts without reading the full novel and, as I've previously explained, I thought I'd applied for the full title - sorry!

Wow.  This book will surprise you and will definitely leave you still hooked.  I kept on getting interrupted by other things and found myself impatiently waiting to get back to this book. I was on the fence initially but this book picked up speed and became one of my 2019 top reads for me. The suspense,  the hidden secrets,  the twists... get this book. You won't regret it.

I forgot that this was just an Extract so now I have to go buy this book.  lol... This is an extremely gripping extract and will definitely prompt you to buy the book.  I NEED to know more about this Roux chick!!!

This excerpt contains the first chapter of the novel and definitely has me intrigued. I look forward to reading the rest of the book.
