Amusing characters, excellent plot line, and charismatic story telling makes this book a real winner for this upcoming holiday season. 5/5 stars.

After Lily discovers her father was a married man her mother had an affair with, she sets out to find her family. The search leads her to Switzerland at Christmas time where she encounters a magical landscape complete with Christmas markets, stollen and freshly fallen snow

Although very unseasonal I couldn’t wait to read sue moorcroft latest book! I love a xmassy read and this didn’t disappoint in any way! The descriptions of a wintery Switzerland, the food, Xmas songs/carols and Xmas markets instantly transport you to a white chilly winter wonderland! Throw in the tangled romance between Isaac and lily, various family dynamics and a friendly village community and you have a perfect wintery festive read to get you in the mood for Xmas!

Loved the cover. Was looking forward to reading it. But sadly I just found it awful from the beginning. It was very long drawn out and hard to read . Very disappointed
