I recieved this arc through NetGalley for an honest review of my thoughts and mine alone. This novel was very enjoyable, this character growth was impeccable. I really felt myself being amiable towards the characters and could feel myself empathizing with all the emotions they were going through. This novel was very enjoyable.

I cant explain how fun this series was. I loved Amber and I loved that these books were so action-packed! Orca always puts out amazing books that appeal to readers and this series is no different. Like the first two, this book was short and super easy to digest. And I loved that about them. I can totally see me recommending this series to reluctant readers.

The concepts of the series isn't an original concept but this series takes it and makes something new. I really enjoyed reading the two books and hope thereafter this world.

I absolutely love how Arthur Slade handles vampires. Nothing about this series feels hokey or forced for the sake of cool subject matter. I was a little surprised that the pacing seemed to slow down a tad, seeing as how action packed book 2 was. But overall it was still an enjoyable read.
