I enjoyed this book Keaton wanted to get out from under her father's thumb She thought getting married would accomplish that (at least a temporary marriage) She enlisted help from a service who matched her up with Garrett (at his request). This was a couple that married for their own reasons and found that they were perfect for each other. That is not saying that there were not bumps along the way. That's what made this story fun. A good book that I enjoyed.

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

When I read the blurb about the book, it sounded like a real drama and was really looking forward to the moment that Keaton finds out that Garret married her for her protection. That part was kind of a let-down as she was way to forgiving and understanding!

I really didn't care for Garret's talk of popping her cherry - wow, not the kind of romance that I would want from my new husband!

I was not sure if Keaton was changing one controlling person (her dad) for another (Garret) but Garret seemed to encourage her to be herself so that was encouraging.

Nice HEA and look into their future after their baby is born!

A quick and enjoyable read with lots of hot steamy scenes. As some reviewers have said the "insta-love" was a bit cheesy but not a major turn off.

I received an arc from NetGalley and this is my honest opinion. This was an ok read for me but a bit unrealistic. The ending Was also a bit odd in that it jumped ahead all of the sudden.

It was a good book with lots of steamy scenes. I liked the main characters but they did fall in love a little too quickly. She is a good author to read.

Great, Quick, easy read. The steam factor is also off the charts for this one. It's also a insta-love. They meet & marry under certain circumstance then fall in love. The story has a lot of steaminess and not much drama. Garret is a super alpha and steps in and takes over. This book was also really short. All in all I would definitely recommend.

This was kind of icky. I thought the way billionaire security expert Garret was talking to bride Keaton was creepy. The language lacked so much romance and was full of very course "male" euphemisms - really, what modern nervous virgin bride lets a hulking stranger tell her he's going to pop her cherry and she is down with that? - I just can't imagine a lady looking for her forever love getting turned on by this. 'Cuz I sure wasn't. It would've been way better if he demonstrated some sensitivity, romance and a heck of a lot more foreplay.

I get that the authors wanted to get the story going, but I think this relationship could've benefited with some warming up and let us watch this couple fall in love. It's as if these authors don't have the skill to write emotional scenes and learned how to write by reading the really bad Penthouse Forum Letters. I really think women want better than this.

Team Hansen, all the way! Keaton didn't know how lucky she is, or how her life was about to change for the better. Garret seems so perfect.
Bought For Protection, is a great book that I read in one setting.

I received an arc copy of this book from NetGalley for my honest review. This is a quick alpha romance story with a HEA ending. Keaton is trying to get away from her overbearing father and feels the only way out is by marrying, but she wants to make sure she has control of her life. To help she meets with a matchmaker. Garret is a security guru who marries her through the same matchmaker service. He is an alpha male and does takeover with his alpha attitude but there is an underlying need to protect and love Keaton. Their whirlwind relationship seems awfully fast but their connection can’t be denied. There’s a lot of steamy scenes even though it’s a quick read. The only downfall is some things just seem to resolve with little fanfare. Garret does have a secret that Keaton just seems to accept with no qualms. But it is a nice read with a happy ending. I would recommend this book for people who enjoy instaromance. 4 stars.

This was a fun one. I love a good insta-lust/insta-love Fiona classic, and this was definitely that.

Keaton Michaels has become a prisoner in her own life. Her father's political aspirations have caused her to have to acquiesce to his commands again, and again over the years, and she's had it. When her best friend suggests she get married in order to get out from her father's thumb, she's hesitant at first. She's never even been able to really date, due to her father's deep background checks, and scare tactics. But, then she decides she has nothing to lose, so she contacts the discreet matchmaker to the wealthy that her friend recommends. She has no idea what she's in for.

Garret Hansen runs a billion dollar security company, and likes his life just how it is. But when Senator Michaels hires him for a shadow security detail on his daughter, Garret has to look for a way in with Keaton, that won't arouse her suspicions. When he finds out she went to see a matchmaker, he decides the easiest way is to become her husband, via a short-term marriage of convenience. The matchmaker convinces her that this agreement will fulfill both of their needs, and Garret and Keaton just sign on the dotted line, and then meet at the courthouse. Garret isn't ready for the jolt that goes through him at the sight of her, and the feelings that soon follow.

Garret and Keaton's chemistry was HOT right off the bat, and they had an instant connection. I loved that they were both honest about their feelings from the start and neither of them shied away from that connection, even though it might have been smarter for them to deny it. Everything between them was honest, except how they met, and of course as the reader, you knew that would be their big issue later on. I liked how they got to know each other, and kept surprising each other even as they continued to grow closer. Their connection was so strong and undeniable, and I loved that.

Keaton's dad seemed like a real jerk, and I felt bad for her that her only parent was so selfish. He constantly made her feel less than, and like she had to hide her true self in the press, so he could continue to win his elections. I don't blame her for the drastic measures she took to get away from him. I loved how Garret wasn't afraid of playing hardball with him either, and let him know how it was going to be right from the start.

This was a short, sexy novella, and I loved the steam level. Even though everything moved quickly, it felt like they really did put in the effort of getting to know each other, once they were already married. I liked that they didn't take their connection for granted, and continued to work on it. When the truth came out, I loved how Keaton handled herself, and how Garret was truly apologetic. I definitely recommend this story, and overall this series has been quite fun.

Garrett owns a large security firm that has been hired to protect Keaton by her politician father. Keaton recently graduated from college and longs to rebel against her domineering father. Her best friend suggests that she hire an in-name-only husband through a matchmaker. Garrett finds out about the arrangement and manages to become the husband. His off-the-charts chemistry with Keaton leads the to agree to include sex in the relationship. Garrett soon discovers himself in love with his wife and vows to keep her. The premise and events included in this sweet romp are contrived and unbelievable , but it makes for a quick and fun read.

This was a very short and sweet book.
Garret is my favourite kind of love interest- a protective dominant. Keaton was interesting and I loved her sweet character. I love the immediate chemistry between them. The characters were a little shallow and underdeveloped. They were both too perfect. The romance was great though and I really enjoyed the plot. It was a great quick romance and I enjoyed reading this.

This is my favorite in the contract marriage books. I loved Garret. He's one of my favorite types of heroes. He owns his own, very successful security business so he's big, scary and very protective. I liked how he was all business until he saw Keaton. For a big, tough guy, he took absolute care of her. He was also pretty possessive of her.

Keaton was a very sweet heroine. She's been under her father's thumb her whole life and she actually thinks marriage will be her answer to a little bit of freedom. Sometimes I struggle with the virgin heroines but Keaton had enough spunkiness that her character wasn't flat. I really liked these two together.

This is a contract marriage trope but one look from Garret and the marriage was very, real. This had everything I like to see in a novella!

I am honestly in love with this series and I am really hoping that Garret and Keaton's book is not the last. Garret came up with a plan to help protect a clients daughter without her even knowing it. The problem with his plan was his instant attraction to Keaton. The chemistry between these two is burning hot and then some. They cannot get enough of each other. As each of their feelings grow Garret wonders how he is ever going to be able to tell her the truth behind why they really married. What happens when Keaton finds out? Will the love the feel for each other be enough? Pick up the book and find out.. You will not be disapppointed. Thanks Net Galley. I voluntarily reviewed this book in exchange for an honest review.

Super quick, super sexy, super cheesy and super predictable. Take it for what it is, which is entertaining insta-love. An enjoyable read to take your mind off your everyday troubles. Billionaire and security consultant Garret Hansen decides he’s going to personally protect the Senator’s daughter, Keaton Michaels, by marrying her! Much to her dad’s chagrin. Sweet and somewhat enjoyable. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. This my honest review.

Sexy and hot! This is a quick read that has Keaton struggling within the protective bonds her political dad has shrouded her in and stifled by. When her friend suggests a marriage broker, she is intrigued and soon finds herself signing a marriage contract. Garrett is the billionaire elite security company owner who is charged with overseeing Keaton's protection. When he learns that Keaton wants a husband, he sets himself out to be her husband.. then their business relationship marriage suddenly begins to feel real.

This is an insta-love story that moves quickly, but with all of the sexiness you could hope for. Garrett is a bit of an "alphahole", but with the redeeming characteristic of his warm and squishy center of love for Keaton. If you enjoy the genre, you will love this book. - sexy, spicy, and just right for a quick read.
