This book is a strong and straightforward guide to showing up as your best self in any area of life. Bo Eason shares his four-step process with clarity and energy, giving readers the tools to set a clear goal, prepare with purpose, push through resistance, and lead with excellence.
What I liked most was how motivational the tone was without sounding unrealistic. The author pulls from personal stories as well as examples from high performers, which made the lessons feel relatable and grounded. His approach is based on discipline, focus, and belief in your vision. It does not promise instant results, but instead challenges you to commit deeply to what you want and to do the hard work to get there.
Some readers may find the message intense, but I think the directness is part of what makes it effective. It reminds you that success requires effort and clarity. The structure of the book also makes it easy to follow and reflect on your own journey.
This is a great read for anyone who feels stuck or wants to recommit to a personal or professional goal. It pushes you to be bold and stay consistent, which is something we can all use more of.

If you strive to be the best—whether it’s the best parent, the best spouse, the best tennis player, or the best accountant—you can’t just sit by and watch it happen. You need to make it happen. And in There’s No Plan B for Your A-Game, former NFL player, playwright, and leadership coach Bo Eason helps those strivers to make their plan and stick to it.

This book took me on an amazing adventure of self-discovery! Each chapter was well written and ended with action steps that helped me to develop my own declaration to be the best, as well as kept me motivated to continue pushing myself further. At every point that I might have wanted to indulge in a bit of self-doubt or procrastination, Bo was right there with me urging me on and speaking my greatness into existence.
Are you looking for a no-nonsense guide to bringing forward your best self, and not afraid of putting in the work? If so, give this one a read.

This book fell short for me. While I found some of it inspiring, I had a difficult believing what he was saying and seeing if it actually worked. There were some inspiring stories about Lauren Cheney but other than that it felt the book felt silly. Declaring what we want to achieve and how do to make it happen and how practice makes perfect is nothing new.
