I love young adult mystery thrillers. This one had a lot of twists and turns I didn’t see coming, and I loved the mysterious aspect.

I dnfed this book, I didnt mesh with the writing style so it was impossible to read it. I kept finding something ese to do instead of reading this.

I really wanted to like this book. The synopsis held so much promise, but the book failed to deliver as much as I hoped for from it. I enjoyed it well enough, but with a few tweaks it could have been an even more enjoyable read.

what if half your class at school was killed in a fiery plane crash below three mountains near towns that the world has pretty much forgotten? What if your twin sister and the brother of a best friend were among them? How would you deal? That's the reality D has been grappling with for the past year. When she, Meg and Spider, whose brother was also among the victims, set out on a pilgrimage to the crash site in hopes of resolution, the second half of the book begins at a remote and very paranoid family compound when several young members have been sent up the mountain on an annual test of loyalty and survival. When something terrible happens to them, it's the beginning of a twirling and chaotic mix involving the two groups. Following the rest of the story, with some major shockers and lots of action, makes for one heck of a read.

DNF at 25%. It's been over three years since I received this ARC. I gave it a go and have decided it is not for me. It interested me then and no longer does now.

I absolutely loved this book! I found it hard to put down. I highly recommend reading it! You won’t be disappointed.

Told from multiple point of views, this book reminded me of Sadie! It's a psychological thriller mostly about grief and loss and really drew me in. The characters were flawed and so real, it had me wanting to know more about them!

I enjoyed it but a few parts it couldn't keep my attention. I wish the pot was a lot more grabbing.and fr this a give a 3 out of 5 stars

The Grey sisters is a book that caught my eye as soon as it came out but unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. The writing is good but the plot wasn't clicking for me, and i didn't connect with the characters at all. I wish I could say more but it was a disappointment to me.

Not a bad book but also not an overtly good book either. I was expecting a bit more thriller aspects with it being compared to Sadie and The Cheerleaders. The writing was lovely but the story wasn’t very gripping.

I had high hopes going into this one, as the synopsis was very intriguing and the beginning started off very fast paced. A lot happened in this book, but unfortunately the characters were a little flat and I ended up not being as invested as I wanted to be. Overall it was very predictable.

This book wasn’t as captivating as I wanted it to be. The plot was predictable and the ending less subpar. But saying that I did enjoy it.

I enjoyed reading about D, Spider and Min. Their journey to seek peace. But that journey wasn’t what they thought it would be. It was a lot more than what they expected.

You know how sometimes you read a book, and it’s like there’s just too much going on? That it’s so busy with conflict and tension, that things get a little muddled? Yeah, that didn’t happen here lol. I was on the edge of my seat from start to finish. Was there a ton of stuff going on? Yes. Did that make things confusing? ABSOLUTELY NOT! There’s a multi-narrator story line, and that helped to keep things in line. Ariel, D, Min, Spider and Kat all told their views on the craziest plot line ever, and it kept all the facts where they needed to be. I had a few theories running at top speed through my mind the whole time, and I’m pleased to say I was right on a couple! Let me sum up: a plane crash, a mission for closure and acceptance of tragedy, a cult, a drug gang gone loopy, a kidnapping, a rescue mission.... I think I got most of it?! I loved this book. I’ve already recommended it to 3 people! There’s a ton going on, but lord was that a story I’ll remember for ages! I dock 1 star because I’m bummed we didn’t get to find out what happened with Ariel in the end. I’m sure I wasn’t the only one who wanted more on that front.

i have come to the conclusion that paranormal/suspenseful books are just not it for me...

the premise of this book sounded SO interesting but i just couldn't get into it? i hope others enjoyed it but it's just not my cup of tea.

This novel wasn't bad at all. But I just didn't seem to love it for some reason. I felt very detached from the storyline and wasn't a fan of the characters. The story went by very fast, and while predictable, it wasn't horrible. The cover is gorgeous though!

This was a bit predictable but it was an enjoyable read! I stayed rather interested and enjoyed the plot.

Mysterious plane crash and strange cult like communities? Absolutely sign me up. This book was so interesting and kept me reading the entire time. I loved this story.

The Grey Sisters just didn't do it for me. While I read it one sitting, it wasn't because it was super interesting or I couldn't put it down. It was simply just so easy and predictable, with flat characters and really short chapters. Honestly, if it wasn't so easy to read, I probably would have listed it as DNF.

I liked the beginning but every time it gets more and more confusing and I had to confess that was kind of hard to finish it.The alternating points of view helped move the story along although I became confused when the same character told the POV from first and then third person and back again. The premise seems interesting, but it wasn't for me.

I also read The Grey Sisters, which has a very dramatic set-up — two friends road trip to the place where their siblings died in a tragic plane crash and discover a doomsday cult living off the grid there — but ends up being mostly forgettable. I’m actually having trouble coming up with anything to say about it…
