Where the F do I even start. This was the craziest Mother-F’ing rollercoaster of emotions a book has EVER taken me on, and that’s saying something for someone who has read as many books as I have. I laughed, I cried (more like sobbed) I laughed and cried at the same damn time.. Abby you have a fantastic way with words. I cannot wait for the second book to come. I hope you just keep writing books for years to come because I will read every single one, more than once. This is 100% in my top five books I have ever read. The writing is unbelievable and it just captivated me from the first sentence. To Abby - You’re amazing!! To Everyone else - READ THIS F&@KING BOOK. You won’t be sorry you did! But make sure you have Kleenex handy! I’m now going to go nurse the book hangover you just gave me..

Ok Y'all, I won't be saying a whole lot in this review since its a sample of the first 5 chapters and that's all that I've read. (I will say I immediately got the kindle book but it's waiting patiently for me) so it's worth reading the sample.

We meet Kirsten Peterson who is fiercely loyal to her friends.

She's not looking for a relationship and she has a secret also.

Josh is in the story also and he seems nice.

I've read other books by this author and they are all funny, sweet, touching, a bit emotional at times, and just great reads. Not literary great but enjoyable great books.

I know the sample captured my attention and held it enough for me to immediately pre order the entire book.

The book was the author's debut and came highly rated. I know she writes romance and characters well.

I liked Kirsten in what little I read from the sample, I'm sure I will continue to like her as i will read the whole book.

Kristen Petersen is blunt, sarcastic, and a hilarious straight shooter who will go out of her way for the people she loves. Her best friend Sloane is getting married in a few weeks, the faster it approaches so does reality. She has to have a hysterectomy and has been keeping it a secret from her loved ones. When she meets Brandon’s best man Josh Copeland, she begins questioning everything. Josh is reliable, handsome, funny and fiercely protective. More than anything, he wants to have a huge family which is why they will never work out.  
 
I really enjoyed this book, it was a quick, fast paced read that was so much more than just a fun rom-com. I finished it in a day because I couldn’t to put it down but, responsibilities got in the way. The characters and the story were relatable, I loved the multiple POV between Kristen and Josh. It not only gave us the whole story but, we got both best friends input on the situation which was cool. I lived for the playful, witty banter; the dynamic and chemistry between the two was awesome. At times, I found it a bit repetitive and predictable. There were a few sentences I could have done without but, I don’t want to spoil anything so I don’t want to say which ones. Overall, I still really enjoyed the story.

I received an extended preview and loved it so much I got a copy to read!

I absolutely loved this book. Even just from the preview, I felt the need to go out and get the book in print. I even went to read one of Jimenez's other novels.

Sorry I could not finish this book in time. I have friends who have read and loved it, I just did not have time to finish at the time. I will get a copy and try to read. Thank you for the opportunity.

I was very disappointed that this was just a preview - a tease. I ended up purchasing the book and absolutely adored it.

This is one of the best previews I have read so far! I devour it, it was fast paced and mostly I have a smile in my face! I fall in love with the characters and their relationship through the story. I had to buy it to finish reading the full story.

Just from reading this excerpt, I am sucked in and can't wait to read this book! I plan on buying this book and reading it right away!

Abby Jimenez did a great job of describing the characters and keeping the plot easy to follow but not obvious as to what happened next. Her books are definitely at the top of my list.

Abby Jimenez is hilarious and unfiltered in her online presence, so it's no surprise her first book is amazing! I'm not usually one for romance or comedy but she nails it. Be ready with tissues, both for the times this book tugs at your heart AND when you spit out your drink and start crying from laughing too hard. Eagerly awaiting the sequel after barely making these nearly 400 pages last 3 days.

Really enjoyed this little preview and I'm totally hooked on the characters, they're witty as hell and I'm excited to see where this goes as I know it does tackle difficult topics. Instantly bought myself a copy after reading this little sampler.

The Friend Zone takes you on a roller coaster. Bittersweet situations, fun, friendships, and desperate decisions. This one has it all. Well done, Abby Jimenez!

Super cute...funny...getting good! I can’t wait to read the full novel! I’m building a relationship with the characters and am beginning to become invested in the story. I didn’t want it to end yet!

The free preview definitely made me want to read more! From the first page, I really liked our two main protagonists. I loved their chemistry and their banter, and I quickly started rooting for them to be together, and I liked their banter.

Now having read the whole book, I will admit that this unfortunately didn't live up to my expectations. I had a lot of issues with the book, including the lack of communication between our two main characters and some scenes that made me cringe. I also wasn't the biggest fan of the ending and how it handled the subject matter.

Best Book I've Read in a Long Time!!

This was a fantastic read! A realistic fiction novel that you just can't put down. I don't want to give away any spoilers but I will say it's a book I could already read again it was that good! I loved every character and can't wait until the next book comes out.

This book was engaging, funny, and real. I enjoyed every moment of reading this and I look forward to reading more of what Abby has to offer.

TFZ is the sweet, funny, real, and romantic story of Kristin and Josh who find each other and find love through this crazy thing called life.

Kristin is a no nonsense, tell it like it is, hilarious lady who loves dogs and owns her own business catering to dogs, of course. She also suffers from infertility and keeps that secret to herself as she is terribly afraid to share that with anyone around her

Josh is a funny, sweet, sexy guy who knows what he wants and isn't afraid to go for it. He is the best man to Kristin's maid of honor in their best friends wedding. He ends up being the listening ear that Kristin doesn't know she needs.

A well defined story with developed characters and a future that will take this plot forward to future stories. Lots of surprises, tears, laughs, and sweet momenta.

Witty and romantic, The Friend Zone was just what the doctor ordered to get me out of a funk. Although a rom-com, this book also deals with real-world issues that make it more solid than your average run of the mill romance. I really enjoyed it!

Fun Rom- Com. I had to run out and buy this book after reading the excerpt. I love a good romance. I’m stoked for the next book- Happily Ever After Playlist.
