I was deeply disappointed by this book, and I couldn't bring myself to finish it. The writing appears to be by someone whose second language is English. It's alright to not be a perfect english speaker, obviously, but you should not be publishing novels in English if you aren't confident in your English skills- or cannot hire a proofreader to correct mistakes.
The plot itself has one or two interesting ideas on loan, about a futuristic city of angels, but mostly it borrows heavily from anime/manga to a ludicrous and often bizarre degree. Characters have special abilities with Weird Specific Names, just as there's a guild and government system that feels incredibly arbitrary. It feels like someone inspired by shounen manga trying to make a novel like that- like Naruto style or something- but failing heavily. All these ideas and tropes are things I do not even enjoy in manga, and they certainly do not work in this 'light novel'.
