I read this book during the first week of January 2020 and it was exactly what I needed to motivate myself to have an incredible and healthy year. This is unlike many of these types of healthy self-help books I've read in the past and I loved it and feel super inspired by everything Oonah says here.

Well that was surprisingly fantastic.
She manages to set realistic goals without judgement and a f*uck tonne of laughs.
By making small changes to your everyday routine you turn them into permanent habits.
I know what you're thinking...
This is a trap I just don't know how.
It's not.
Instead I think this is the first honest book I have read about how to integrate new habits that are actually maintainable for life long changes to your health (and waistline).

"It's about doing your best absolutely every single day without letting your Bullshit suck you back into a relationship (with old patterns) that you've outgrown."

I am really looking forward to introducing some of her ideas into my own life.
Best line in the book...

"If you can't do something right, do it totally half-assed."

Thank you Netgalley for the chance to read Healthy as F*ck for a review. I really enjoyed reading Oonagh Duncan book as she wasn't touting a new fad diet but a common sense way to losing weight in small steps but told in a refreshing in your face, sometimes hilarious way that gets you really thinking.

Such a great book for weightloss, but more importantly, feeling healthy!
Nothing exteme, just how to adapt a healthy lifestyle.
Book focuses on how you feel, rather than the numbers on the scale.
Also comes with comebacks for every possible excuse you could make up for not changing your habits for the better.
I will be keeping an eye on this Canadian author!

I found this interesting. Some of the info s useful and not something you would find in other health books. Give it a read. You won’t be disappointed

So many things resonated with me and when I received an arc in book firm I had to share it with a friend. I have read other weight loss books but this one was very doable and very sound and true advice. I have taken Oonagh’s advise and have changed things up
