A perfect quick holiday romance!

Sophia has had some tragedy in her life. She's a widow and she is living in Christmas, Colorado.

Adam is her ex brother in law, whom she once loved deeply.

I really enjoyed the small town feel of the story. Both Adam and Sophia were nice characters and I was rooting for the second chance romance to form and blossom.

I loved her best friend as well.

There are characters who pop in from the rest of the books in the series.

Highly recommended!

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher and author for this great novella.

A delightful romantic novel, One Night in Christmas is sure to bring smiles to all readers.

Synopsis:
Sophia Dane's life is back on track. After losing her husband in a horrible accident, she's finally in a happy place. She turned her grief, guilt, and -- most of all -- the resentment her husband's family heaped on her after Bryce's death, into motivation to open a boutique on Main Street in the small-town of Christmas, Colorado. Ready to start anew and ring in the New Year with her friends, Sophie never expects to come face-to-face with her brother-in-law, Adam.
Coming home to Christmas was the last thing that Adam Dane wanted to do. But when he bumps into Sophia -- his brother's widow who he's been in love with since...forever -- he realizes that making the trip home was fate giving him a second chance. Unfortunately, she wants nothing to do with him after the way his family treated her. Adam knows he has a lot of making up to do, but first he needs to convince her to trust him -- and his family -- again.

Sophia co-owns a boutique with her best friend in the town of Christmas, Colorado . Sophia is a young and beautiful widow. Adam is one of Sophia's brothers in law and they have always felt an attraction to one another. When Sophia's husband committed suicide, his family blamed Sophia and it has taken her a good long while to come back to feeling good about herself and her life. While Adam lives in San Francisco, he has returned for the Christmas holidays and thus begins the reawakening of the growing romantic feelings between him and Sophia.

This was a quick, fun read with charming characters. Thank you to Netgalley, the author Debbie Mason, and the publisher (Forever) Grand Central Publishing for the ARC I was granted in return for an honest review.

One Night In Christmas by Debbie Mason. One Night In Christmas is a story with some mystery solving and romance. Read the story.

Christmas is a place in Colorado but also a state of mind for those who live there. Unfortunately, like anywhere, tragedy happens, love is lost and people are, well, just people.

One Night in Christmas is a very short novella by Debbie Mason. If you've read the other books in the series then this will be a stop-gap until her next book is published. The story is one of lost love, misread cues and ultimately "happily ever after." Because of the brevity of the book, the characters came across a little too stereotypical, however, it was nice read and I'm sure fans of Debbie Mason will enjoy this little filler.

This is a sweet Christmas novella and book 7.75 in the Christmas, Colorado series. It can be read as a stand alone. Sophia Dane is accepting the fact that her husband, Bryce has died and his family blames her. She is now running a boutique on Main Street and the holiday season has her working long days. Bryce's brother Adam is back in town for a family party and realizes this is his chance to tell Sophia he loves her. Sweet and happy and short Christmas romance. I received a copy of this ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Sophia owns a boutique in Christmas Colorado despite her in laws treatment of her after her husband's death. They blamed her for his death even though it was considered an accident. As they are getting ready to ring in New Year's her brother in law Adam shows up. Adam has always been in love with her but she wants nothing to do with him because of the way his family has treated her. They do become close and he knows something about his brother and what really happened to him. Will it all come to the surface and can they get over it and start sharing their feelings? This was a novella so it was a quick read but you knew who everyone was from the previous books in the series.

A quick yet highly entertaining and heartwarming journey filled with friends, family, witty banter, emotional excitement and Christmas joy. Excellent reading experience from beginning to end and a real joy to read.

This book started off with unasked questions and compelled me to keep reading to figure out what I am missing in the backstory. The story seemed to be centered around another couple and had the feel that the connection between the main characters were secondary to that couple.Loved Sophie's spunk, driving skills and attitude but did not agree with her readiness to forgive the Danes after what she underwent with the family.I found it difficult to understand the level of vitriol spewed her way on the matter of her late husband and found Adam sneaky and underhanded in the way he treated her. There were some questions arising about the importance of friendship, loyalty and transparency, and while the path taken was not of the cookie cutter variety, the results were predictable. This was not the best book I've read but it kept me engaged enough to finish it in a couple of hours.Undecided whether I will read the other books in this series.Beautiful book illustration.

Adam Dane always loved Sophia but he let her go when she married his brother. Now his brother has been dead for years but there are many secrets surrounding his death that only Sophia knew. Or at least she thought she was the only one. Adam figured out how Bryce died too, but can he help Sophia and his family get past it so he and Sophia can have their happily ever after?

I always love visiting Debbie Mason’s Christmas, Colorado, and One Night in Christmas was no exception. Mason keeps the story moving, as it takes place over several months. Sophia and Adam and Autumn and Logan are fun characters that you want to get to know better. This was the perfect breather between longer novels.

I voluntarily reviewed and ARC of this novella.

One Night in Christmas by Debbie Mason is a contemporary romance novella that is a companion read to the Christmas, Colorado series. As with most romance series each book in the series features a new couple from this small town so they can be read in any order or as standalones if choosing to do so. There are hints and appearances of previous characters though as the story unfolds in the current book for those fans of the entire series to get updates on the characters they’ve come to love.

Sophia Dane finally feels like she is in a good place and recovering from the grief of losing her husband. Sophia has opened up her own boutique on Main Street in the small-town of Christmas, Colorado and is doing well. What Sophia didn’t want was her ex brother-in-law, Adam, showing up in Christmas since her husband’s family never seemed to approve of her but little does Sophia know, Adam has always hid his own feelings from her.

I started reading Debbie Mason’s books a few years back and really enjoy them. One Night in Christmas has her same strong writing with plenty of depth to the plot and characters that I’ve come to expect. This one wasn’t my favorite however simply in the fact it was the ex’s brother but even being iffy with a family connection to me everything else was still spot on leaving it at 4 stars.

I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley.
