I received a free ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I thought the message in this was good, but I was not a fan of the illustrations.

Paddy and his Disappearing Daddy by Elise Lowe was a joy to read to my Nephew who is 3. He loved it. I had to go out and purchase this beautifully colourful book for him. Many family members have read this to him and he still loves it now. He still giggles when his dad does the father's voice!

Big Thank you to netgalley and Paddy and Elise Lowe the author for a wonderful sweet book.

I received a copy of this book through Netgalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Paddy was a lovely story to follow with colourful pages. My four year old daughter enjoyed swiping through the pages. I would recommend it to older toddlers.

Disappointed, another digital copy that I downloaded multiple times and wasn't able to view on either version of my Kindle. More work needs to be done before this is published.

Pros: This is a cute little story that talks about big things that go on in a family. The words are easy to understand, and the illustrations are adorable.

Cons: The mommy was too small, and I kept mistaking her for a big sister and not the mother. She should have been drawn bigger in size.

Overall: Cute story for kids that are curious about their father's day.

A beautiful children's book which taught practical things to a child whose daddy had to leave home everyday in the morning.

Paddy and his daddy leprechaun spent their time going out and playing mischief on humans. Paddy was then left home and his daddy went out alone and that hurt him as he did not understand why his daddy had to leave him everyday

His mother took Paddy and both followed daddy leprechaun and they learned the truth of how his dad worked hard and provided for his family.

This was a fabulous picture book with bright colors and clear drawings which captured my heart. Pictures say a thousand words, so every picture in this book would explain to the children easily the concept of a job and to earn a living. That would reduce the anxiety in a child knowing that the father would come back to him after the job.

A lovely book by author Elise Lowe

Paddy is a small Leprechaun child, he cannot understand some adult things, but fortunately his lovely mom explain him.

Paddy and His Disappearing Daddy is a book for young readers by Elise Lowe. Paddy Leprechaun and Daddy Leprechaun have fun together in the mornings, getting up to all sorts of leprechaun mischief. But then Daddy Leprechaun leaves and Paddy is sad. Clever Mummy Leprechaun thinks of a way to show Paddy why Daddy has to leave each day.
This is an excellent tool to help children deal with separation anxiety, while at the same time demonstrating working for payment, using earned money to buy needed goods and treats, paying rent for a place to live, and saving (that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow). These themes are supported Julian Thomas’s bright and colourful illustrations. Parents or reading supervisors might need to explain what a Leprechaun is, and that treats aren't necessarily every day. Sweet and charming
