What I need to do is quit my job and start reading full time! Yes!, that’s me dreaming again. But for now I’ll settle for every spare second my family will let me read! 🤨
Book Buzz 2019, great reads was a glimpse in each book on this list. I’ve added some of them to my TBR pile and can’t wait for some of them to come out!
I didn’t find all of them interesting to me, but I think a lot of them are going to be GREAT reads!

These are my thoughts on a few:

• Clay M Chapman, “The Remaking” seems very promising.
• Stephen Chbosky, “ Imaginary Friend” seems scary....I’m scared!
• Tracy Chevalier, “A Single Thread” looks promising and I love WW2 books.
• Meg W Clayton, “The Last Train to London” looks promising.
• Jeanine Cummins, “American Dirt” is a must read!
• Jojo Moyes, “The Giver of the Stars”, I HAVE TO READ THIS NOW!
• Olaf Olafsson, “The Sacrament” looks good.
• Susannah Cahalan, “The Great Pretender”. I really want to read this!
This is a NETGALLEY gift and all opinions are my own.

What a great opportunity to get advance peeks at upcoming books! I lean towards fiction typically, but was quickly drawn into most of the non-fiction stories. It looks like a great group of upcoming fall reads.

I have a love/hate relationship with these Buzz Books collections put out by Publishers Lunch. On one hand, I love that there are so many new, interesting titles to add to my TBR pile. On the other hand, I hate that there are so many new, interesting titles to add to my TBR pile.

This collection contains a multitude of books to be released this upcoming fall/winter. There is a good mix of books that are lighter and seem more fun - for example, Eoin Colfer's Highfire - along with those that are more heavy-hitting and important reads - for example, Jeanine Cummins's American Dirt, Andrew Krivak's The Bear, Eliza Nellums's All That's Bright and Gone, E.R. Ramzipoor's The Ventriloquists. There are also quite a few nonfiction reads that seem intriguing as well, such as Susannah Cahalan's The Great Pretender and Samantha Power's The Education of an Idealist.

This is probably one of the most interesting (and most extensive) collections that Buzz Books has released recently, and I'm excited to dive into quite a few of these reads.

I love that the most anticipated books for the remainder of the year is located in one document. It definitely helped me plan the rest of my reading year.

I can not say enough about the incredible list of books to browse in this publisher's launch Fall/Winter 2019... So many titles, so many genres, and to choose will be daunting, However I love that you supply exerpts so that there is a way to peruse what ones that I want to read. The very first one has me intrigued and a bit frightened as it portrays some truths about today's government and society. I was struck by this quote - " An awakewning, a large-scale shift in belief: that things done to those beneath are not properly balanced". "A new definition of violence"."Quads, quadrants...... I will read more, and this is just the beginning of the lists...Thanks Buzz Books!

This is my third Buzz Book I have read and reviewed. These books are my “Go To” source for upcoming reading selections. I have taken the opportunity and am thrilled to be able to utilize the “request” links embedded in the excerpts for several books. In fear of accumulating too many requests from publishers, I have added many to my “to Be Read” list and will request them from the library at a later date.. Every time I reference a Buzz Book I have to pause and sigh.....So Many Books, so Little Time!

This collection of titles and excerpts has gotten me very excited for the next season of books. I went through and bookmarked all the ones I’d be requesting and I can’t wait to read them!

I like how this list is structured. It’s fiction, debuts and nonfiction. There’s a list of ‘buzzy’ titles in the beginning, and then the ones with previews and advanced chapters make up the bulk of it. The ones in fiction I’m most anticipating are Long, Bright River; Saint X; American Dirt; and Imaginary Friend. For nonfiction I’m very interested in Dark Waters & The Great Pretender.

Thank you Netgalley for this compilation!
