Holy Crap. I LOVED THIS SO MUCH. I already can't wait for the second volume. Part of me wishes the character info was at the beginning of the storylines.

If you want something sexy and fast to read I recommend this graphic novel.
Besides the wonderful art, the 5 stories are sexy and inclusive, we have stories of 5 wonderful couples that you will end up identifying with some of them.
For being short stories I admit that I was very willing to more of them, for me it seemed that it was an introduction of characters, that made me fall in love with them all, and I would certainly read more about them.

I was intrigued by this book and requested it. If I'm honest it wasn't my cup of tea however the graphics were very good.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this in advanced in exchange for a honest review.

Super sexy fun times is exactly what the title says: Five short erotic comics featuring superheroes, first loves, villains and mercenaries. These collection of comics make up one wonderfully queer and diverse volume that I cannot wait for the world to see!

Worst Cade Scenario.

Rival sidekicks Jack F. and Malcom Easley get locked in a room and decide to make the most of it. This was super sweet and I loved the discussion regarding Jack’s back scars!!

The Pre-Fuck.

Expert Tactician Amelia Brown and Superhero Alexei Golokov get together to discuss the arrangement of when and how they’re going to have sex and they get a little carried away. I loved the discussion regarding each of their kinks and consent on what they will and won’t do. It’s rare that we see this in erotica and it’s something that should be included more.

Good Foundations.

This addition features villains Owen Moreau and Charlotte Colt. Who would have thought a short story with villains would be the cutest?? I love this one so much! Charlotte and Owen are in a committed relationship and Charlotte is worried when Owen tells her they have something they need to tell her. Owen discusses how he feels like a girl, a boy and sometimes neither of the two. Charlottes reaction was wonderful and I loved how she showed Owen that he/she/they can be comfortable in their identity. While this was as erotic as the first two it was also more than just sex!

Safe.

Superhereos Kavi Narang and Cora Jenkins decoded to spice up their relationship with some roleplay. This is one of the cutest f/f comics I’ve ever read. Like the rest, the start features our couple discussing their boundaries and making sure they have each others full consent. I loved that Cora was fat. My fat sapphic heart rejoiced, her and Kavi ( and the rest of the gorgeous art) were drawn beautifully.

The Responsive Parties

60 year old famous assassin Eilo De Leon and his lovable home-ec teaching husband, Samuel De Leon, have some fun after Eilo convinces himself he may be too old for his job!

I loved that in this story we got some old age characters who are also pretty damm badass; especially Eilo and his assassin skills. Assassins are my favorite and mix that with lovable queer assassins and I’m done. I adored this one.

Overall: this erotic graphic novel is without a doubt, a new favorite. It features a range of different queer characters, body types and POC characters. The artwork is unique and absolutely stunning. I’m looking forward to the release so I can grab a much needed copy for my bookshelf.

So I usually never read books in this genre, but I ended up downloading it as "Read Now" from Netgalley when I saw a few bloggers in the community talking about it! While I enjoyed a lot of aspects of it, I was ultimately disappointed that the five short stories in this book were just so short.

This ~sexy~ (aka, containing a lot of graphic sex, so be sure of what you're getting into before you decide to flip through this one) graphic novel is basically about what superheroes do during their off-time, when they're chilling at home not fighting the forces of evil.

Easily this book's greatest quality is all the diverse rep it includes, there are m/m pairings as well as f/f and m/f. There's nonbinary/genderqueer representation and transgender rep. If you have a particular type of sexy pairing you're looking for, there's a good chance it's in here. The book also frequently shows the importance of communication and consent before, during, and after sex which was again, just a really cool and nice thing to see on the page!

Despite the fact that these characters are superheroes on their off-time, I was still hoping to read about their superhero identities and superpowers. We mostly get that through these "superhero information" sheets (I can't think of a better way to describe them) that are in between each story. But I really wish they had come before each story, rather than after, because I spent a lot of the stories slightly confused about who these characters were and what their abilities are.

The last story was probably my favorite, since it had a little bit more balance between superhero crime-fighting and the sexy stuff. One or two of the stories especially felt rushed and like a cliche porno set-up, if that makes sense.

But ultimately, if you're reading this book for the sexy times, as the title suggests, I definitely don't think you'll be disappointed!! Just be aware when you start it that the sex is pretty much the central "point" behind each story. The artwork in this is also really fun and perfect for the superhero genre!

Absolutely loved this! Definitely super fun sexy times where had. My only complaint was I wish the stories were longer. Other than that, it was adorable and perfect! I hope there are more volumes of this to come because I would definitely pick them up.

I LOVE this book so much! I love all of the different sexualities, genders, and preferences it represents. I love that it explores both the awkwardness and consent of sex in several different situations while still being super fun and sexy (no pun intended). I love that it shows both the sexual AND emotional sides of each relationship. I can definitely see myself recommending this to my circle of friends, as well as potentially some young adults.

I am on the fence about purchasing this for my library. My library is in a very conservative community, and I can see this being a very controversial addition to the collection. While I am okay with that, I also don't see many people checking this book out due to embarrassment. However, I am considering adding it to our ebook collection, as anyone can check those books out from home, and I think this book would be extremely beneficial to anyone exploring their sexuality, preferences, or sexual relationships. Overall, five stars from me, and I will be finding a discreet way to advertise this title.

This is not usually my kind of genre, but I do love graphic novels and the art seemed amazing. I also saw a bunch of raving reviews that had me curious about this graphic novel anthology. So I figured I might as well give it a shot. And okay, this was maybe not entirely for me. But it was great to see how sex-positive this was, with multiple LGBTQ+ characters, characters with different body types, and explicit discussions on consent.

CWs: visually and textually explicit sex scenes

Rep: multiple LGBTQ+ characters, multiple Black characters, genderfluid character.

Holy Batman, this was filthy. But I unabashedly enjoyed it. It blended diversity, sex, and superheroes in a really wonderful way. The opening story was my least favorite but it only got better from there. Quick, filthy, fun read.

Very fun, very queer and very sexy. There were several little short stories of superheroes and villains and their partners. It was so sex positive, both in sexual identity, plus size rep and consent. Very fun and quick read, but I wished there was more. Some of the stories ended right when it was getting good!

Thanks to @onipress via @netgalley for the advance copy of Super Fun Sexy Times by Meredith McClaren, out on 20th August. I'm feeling a bit delicate today after a night out dancing and this graphic novel collection of cute, funny and very NSFW sci-fi stories was the perfect accompaniment to tea and a bacon buttie in aiding my recovery.

Each of the five stories is a sexy encounter between super heroes, villains, aliens and vigilantes, with mostly LGBT characters plus some less easy to categorise extraterrestrials. There's lots of focus on negotiation and consent, it felt really body positive, and had some nice trans rep. There's all sorts of kink including pet play, bondage, D/s, and a very sweet and funny attempt at negotiating an intruder fantasy, plus lots of superpowered sex!

I loved the art and the storytelling in this collection, and enjoyed how it showed kink in loving domestic settings, even when its the lair of two super villains! I really hope there'll be a Super Fun Sexy Times volume 2.

Reading this book was indeed a super sexy fun time. Who knew erotic and funny graphic short stories were a thing.

I first gave it 3 stars, but then the little book lingered in my mind. I kept thinking that the way it treated sex in a positive, consensual and diverse way was unheard of.

In fact, I was thinking that I would rather have my teenage nieces read this book, even with explicit sex, than many YA novels I see around, many entitled to cinematic adaptations that romanticize abusive relationships.

This book was so fun! Not only that, the diversity of race, gender, and sexual orientation was great. Every story felt so loved and cared for, especially with each character receiving a description about who they are at the end of their story. Every relationship felt cherished, even if the characters weren't actually together, you could feel their connection. I was pleasantly surprised by this book and I can't wait to read more.

I thought this was pretty cute! It's a little anthology of superheroes and villains and their romantic/sexy lives. I didn't love the art style, but there was nothing wrong with it either. It just wasn't my personal taste. I also wish each of the shorts was a little longer. They each could have done with a few more pages to develop the story a bit. I absolutely loved the diversity in this book as well. I think the author did a great job with giving each couple a unique backstory and normalizing different kinds of couples.

If your looking for a really smutty and queer graphic novel then your in the right place. The art style wasn’t exactly to my liking but smut really makes up for it

Wow, I've never read anything like this before and it was great! If you're looking for super inclusive, body-positive, erotic short stories/comics, then this is the one for you. I enjoyed all the stories of these superheroes/ supervillains and thought the positive sex and body messages in each were great. The romances between the characters was sweet and the depictions of their relationship (sexual and otherwise) was realistic. I only wished that each comic was a little longer so that we could get to know the characters more--because I definitely wanted to know more about them! I thought the exploration of sexuality in this was really well done. The comics are graphic sexually, it's basically drawn erotica, so I wouldn't recommend reading this in public (definitely NSFW)!

I wasn't sure that I liked the art work/graphic style of the comics at first, but the more I read the more I liked it. I would definitely read Vol 2 of Super Fun Sexy Times if the author came out with more! This was one fun, sexy read that might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I'm glad that I stumbled upon it.

Thanks to NetGalley, the author and publisher for making this available to read and review!

This book was a lot of fun smutty content. With a variety of relationships represented, it was one for a lot of different audiences. I would take full stories on some of these stories for sure! It was a good time for me.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS GRAPHIC NOVEL. Obviously, caps-lock was needed. Super Fun Sexy Times by Meredith McClaren is not your typical graphic novel, nor is it something that is going to be for everyone. It's graphic, and I do mean graphic so that that into consideration. The artwork beautiful, but the content takes the cake on how amazing this book is. This book is full of consent, sweet, fun, and sexy consent. I loved that we saw characters negotiating role play scenes & realistically talking about sex. I also truly appreciated how inclusive this book was. You have people of all shapes, sizes, sexual orientation, etc. which made me want to cry with how beautiful it was.

This is definitely a book I would recommend to the right reader. It is well worth the read & a book that I'm going to have to buy a hard copy of.
