Most every child loves the holidays and so many of us young and old love dinosaurs. I don't think I realized just how much we were missing out by not having more dinosaur themed holiday books.

In this title, the dinosaurs celebrate Halloween and get up to all the usually fall and Halloween activities. The pictures are colorful and fun. The dinosaurs here are some lesser known ones unless your child is a dino aficionado, then he or she will most likely know them all.

My grandchildren love Lisa Wheeler's Dino books. This one, although only June, was a hit. They loved all the fun things that happen at Halloween and with dinosaurs participating, it is even more fun. My granddaughter is on a monster kick right now, and she thought the dinosaurs fit that role quite nicely. With wonderful illustrations that have a lot happening, the kids spent more time checking them out than the actual text took to read. This sparked additional conversations about what they wanted to do and wear for Halloween. The rhyming work well and provides a nice rhythm and cadence, making this a very easy book to read aloud. I had to read it a few times and each time, they found something new. i had to laugh about my granddaughters comment that toothbrushes aren't candy. I definitely recommend this book and series to families, schools and public libraries.

As much as I love the author and the first few Dino- books, it just feels too much this time. My students will love it like they do the others, so I will add it to the collection, but it's not my favorite.

Love this book! It's perfectly thought out. My son and I enjoyed reading it so much we have read it multiple times. It's a great rhyming book and great for elementary kids. This will definitely get you into the Halloween spirit. It is also educational as it highlights the names of the dinosaurs it is talking about in each page. I wI'll make sure people read this book to their children. It may just become a tradition reading it ever year for Halloween. Would definitely recommend reading it!

This was a fun Halloween book. How can you go wrong with dinosaurs and little kids? Dinosaur books at our library are constantly in and out and this one will surly be a hit.

This book is so much fun, who could have thought of dinos in costumes for Halloween. Usually strong animals in the dilemmas of which character to pick and giving in to the make believe of haunted homes, witches and tricks. They need help in deciding even which treat to pick. Now I know a new dinosaur - Apatosaurus.

Gosh do these dinosaurs get up to a lot! This brightly illustrated book is perfect for Dinosaur lovers. I can see this being a hit, especially in schools. It's fun to read and with so much going on, you won't get sick of it.

Colourful, fun and entertaining. This book will be a beloved addition to your child's library that they will enjoy reading again and again.

How adorable is this book?! It is so much fun and I definitely need to search for some more of Lisa Wheeler's Dino books. I can't wait to read this with my niece to see how she likes it. The art is so cute and I love the characters!

This was a fun and easy read that my three-year-old son really enjoyed! The lyrical rhyming prose throughout made for a fun reading with fun voices and emotions.

I loved this book. It's so adorable. My son loved it as well. He loves dinosaurs and Halloween so this was perfect. It shows kids that even strong dinosaurs get scared sometimes.

Wheeler has created a fun romp through Halloween prep and celebrations. The dinosaurs exuberantly enjoy everything about Halloween. Their energy carries through the text and springs from the page with the bright and colorful illustrations. Each dinosaur's personality comes through when reading their parts in the story and looking at their faces and body lines on the pages.
Definitely a fun filled addition to this series.

Young fans of dinosaurs AND Halloween are going to enjoy this rhyming tale! The illustrations are entertaining with lots of fun things to discover and , of course, the tale is entertaining! I think it would make a good addition to a collection or a fun gift for a child.

As someone who counts down the day to Halloween, I knew I had to read this children's book. It was so cute and gave me all the fall feels. If your child is a fan of Halloween or dinosaurs you must get this. This is definitely a must read for your children this spooky Halloween season.

Dino-Halloween is a good way to introduce children who love dinosaurs to the concept of Halloween or vice-versa. The inclusion of some real dinosaur names provides a nice, educational touch, and children will certainly be able to relate to the dinosaur twins' despair over getting a toothbrush instead of candy. The rhymes work well and provide a nice rhythm, making this book very easily to read aloud.

A must-have for young children who are fascinated by dinosaurs and Halloween! This book will also be a favorite for parents who are fond of Halloween, horror, and/or dinosaurs.

The story and illustrations are fantastic! Lisa Wheeler hit the nail on the head once again! The boys I nanny love dinosaurs and they always love reading their Lisa Wheeler books. They were so excited when I told them I had a new one for them. I read it well over 20 times this past week. They like to study what each dinosaur is doing while I read the story. Thank you to Netgalley for the ARC! The boys and I will continue to enjoy this book until we can buy a hard copy on August 6th.
