All books in this series are sexy and suspenseful. The characters are intense and focused. Definitely an engrossing read.

I didn't enjoy this book as much as I enjoyed previous books in the series. I tried to get into this one but unfortunately I didn't finish it.

That doesn't mean I'll give up on CF!

I want just say that it was okay. Nothing majorly wrong with the writing. I enjoyed the dirty scenes. However, his need to be in charge 150% of the time for majority of the book was off putting for someone having experienced a controlling relationship. Now, the character had background story reasons for the controlling, but it was still kinda traumatizing to read. I had to pause for several weeks before I could get back into it. That being said, I wouldn't mind reading more of that couple's story now that they're tuned in to each other and have settled into their relationship.

In this new story of the Leopard People series, we see that the last of the Amurov family men find their mates and conclude the war with their estranged family in Russia. Leopard’s Wrath starts with Mitya Amurov been driven to his house during a rainy night and stopping to help a woman that is trying to change her tire. Even though Mitya is still recovering from the events in Leopard’s Run, something compels him to stop the car and help the soaking woman. Ania Dover has been having some really bad years so far, her parents were in a car accident that killed her mother and paralyzed her father, and she is pretty sure somebody is trying to kill her now. Enters, the Knight in shiny armor, or somewhat more of a wild predator, her new neighbor Mitya Amurov saving her from the rain and having his guards change the tire.

Mitya tries to stay away from Ania, but the attraction that he feels for her is too much and she is a regular client of Evangeline’s bakery. What he later finds out is that she is also Leopard, close to mating, and her family was not so perfect people. Once word of their union reaches enemy ears, more assassins arrive for both of them for different reasons and learning to understand each other might be the only thing that keeps them alive.

I liked Leopard’s Wrath, the idea of a tough and serious man who has been carrying the pressure of the world all his life and fighting every day to control a beast inside of him, who meets a woman that is too similar to him but brings light into his life was very good. Ania and Mitya are great for each other and it was interesting to see them navigate their new relationship and the power that one has over the other. Their passion burns very brightly in their love scenes and over time the love they feel for each other grows.

In this new story, we get to see the past main characters of the previous books come together to fight a common enemy, but at the same time, a new hidden enemy that has been moving the strings for some time now is revealed. Spies are among them and now they need to be truthful with each other and thus the correct people.

I liked that Ania had a more offensive role compared to the previous female characters. I liked how much responsibility she took after her parents’ accident and she was able to take care of her father for a long time, given that he was a leopard male losing control of his cat with each passing day. Ania was a great character that knew what she wanted and went to get it.

I liked that we got to meet new characters and some of them give hints of men finding their mates. It’s going to be very interesting reading them finding love and a person they can save them from the leopard inside.

I have been a fan of the Leopard People series for some time, and like the other series by author Christine Feehan. This series has had different arcs exploring the individual characters and in Leopard’s Wrath, we came to the culmination of the battle between the three Amurov’s and their family in Russia, Mitya’s father. I liked reading the battle and how the other cousins helped, but most of all Ania playing a part in winning the battle.

If you are a fan of Christine Feehan and her work, then I recommend Leopard’s Wrath. In this new story, a rainy night changes the lives of two people whose passion might burn everything and most of all their enemies.

Had it in my store already - may have to order more. Thoroughly enjoy these stories - as I have said before my only complaint is that Christine does not write fast enough!

Sexy, bold and brave are the words that come to mind as I reflect on Leopard's Wrath. Feehan is the queen of shifter romance!

Christine Feehan delivers every time! Her Leopard series has grown and changed over the years in unexpected and wonderful ways that keep it interesting and unique! Ania Dover isolated herself after her family was killed in a car accident and her father almost killed in a mugging. Slowly entangling herself from her responsibilities and caring for her father so she can pursue those who targeted her family, she doesn't expect to find herself drawn to the mysterious Mitya Amurov.

Together, Mitya and Ania must discover who is targeting Ania, learn to deal with the overwhelming attraction, get a handle on their leopard's mating urges, and anticipate when Mitya's crazy father will target them as well. Fun times for all! And an interest sparking ride for readers!

There were parts of Leopard's wrath I enjoyed-the danger level was great, the tight knit family vibes were enjoyable, and I really liked Ania. So, what was my issue? Mitya.

I thought Mitya's "dominance' was bordering on toxic relationship behavior. If Ania was my friend, I would be pointing out all these crazy warning signs and telling her to get out before something terrible happens. I totally understood why Ania wasn't sure Mitya even cared for her as a woman. His behavior was all over the place and it felt like he just wanted her because his leopard found its mate in Ania's leopard.

So, not my favorite in this series, but I still did enjoy the mystery and danger of plot overall.

This book is another adrenaline rush addition to the series. I’m not entirely sure how I feel about Mitya and his domineering ways, other than being sexy that is. In real life I wouldn’t put up with that for five minutes, but reading it is far different, and that is the nature of the Leopard series. I liked Ania, she was believable and not quite an easy push-over for his dominance. I love how she contributes to the storyline and kicks ass. I won’t give away the story except to say that I loved it. It carried on the established danger while adding a new dimension to keep us wanting more.

If you’ve read the series, you know that the leopards live in a world of intense violence and erotic sex. Dare I say that this installment had a bit too much sex? At times it seemed to take away from the flow of the story. Knowing they are about to discover a hidden game-changing clue and they stop to have sex? Those kinds of things had me shaking my head. All told, I enjoyed it and am looking forward to the next one.

I honestly don't know how I've been so oblivious to how freaking good Christine Feehan's books are. Leopard's Wrath was incredibly hot, suspenseful, and unputdownable! Mitya was a man used to getting what he wanted, who he wanted, when he wanted. His leopard was a barely controlled feral beast and the chances of him finding happiness were slim to none. When he meets Ania, he realizes that she's the only one who quiets his animal, giving him a feeling of peace he's never had. It doesn't hurt that she's drop-dead gorgeous with a kind and generous heart. While he worries about introducing her to the precarious and dangerous life he leads, she's got an agenda of her own. He tries to keep her safe while she constantly throws herself in danger. Used to having his orders obeyed, she's giving him a fight. Together, these two were a battle of wits, motives, and souls. They were perfection!

Between Mitya's dirty and delicious mouth, his need for dominance, his overt sexuality, his prowess in the bedroom (or backseat of a car), and his overall awesomeness, I easily fell in love with this story. I loved every time he butt heads with Ania's stand for independence, how capable he was in battle, and how deeply he cared for her and those closest to him. After learning so much about these leopard's and their lives, I can't wait to read more about them!

Mitya is the product of a brutal upbringing in the Russian lairs where the male leopards destroy possible mates to sustain the brutality that makes them who they are. Ania is brought up in the bosom of a loving family given every opportunity to express her individuality, to think and act for herself. From their first meeting Mitya acts uncharacteristically when he ignores his body guards and his prime operative in indulging in the women who calms his leopard. Yet when push comes to shove he's a very dominant male leopard who can't fight his nature in controlling his wayward mate, some of which is not entirely pleasant to read. There are some good bones to this story given that both Mitya and Ania are under what might be converging threads. While the readers who have been following this series know that Mitya is under threat from his father and uncles who will do all they can to eliminate him and his cousins, there is a mystery about who threatens Ania and has systematically been killing members of her family.
As it turns out the threat might also be likely to pull in the pseudo criminal shifter coalition that Drake Donovan has formed. Between Mitya's cousins and their spouses and the rest of the members of the coalition and their wives we get to catch up on a lot of characters from the series which is nice. Clearly the women befriend Ania and provide her with feminine friendships for the first time in her life and definitely have her back.
Ms. Feehan's is known for her hot erotic writing and this series is hotter than most given the nature of the emerging female leopard in most of her characters and the need for constant sex for the characters. This story might be hotter on the erotica and lighter on the story which might be an issue for some readers.
I'm not ready to throw in the trowel in this series yet so I'd like to see what comes next.

4.25 stars-- LEOPARD’S WRATH is the eleventh instalment in Christine Feehan’s contemporary, adult LEOPARDS paranormal, erotic, romance series focusing on a group of Leopard shifters. This is Russian leopard shifter and businessman Mitya Amurov, and Anja Dover’s story line. LEOPARD’S WRATH can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary but I recommend reading the series in order for backstory, history and cohesion.

NOTE: LEOPARD’S WRATH contains scenes of graphic violence and implied abuse, including memories and retelling of events as well as spanking and discipline, that may not be suitable for more sensitive readers.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Ania and Mitya) LEOPARD’S WRATH follows the building relationship between Russian leopard shifter Mitya Amurov, and Anja Dover. MItya Amurov found Ania Dover stranded on the side of the road not realizing that Ania was his intended mate, a female leopard shifter who lived on the neighboring estate. About to enter into the Han Vol Dan, the female leopard shifter’s first fertile period, Ania is caught unaware as she struggles with her father’s declining health, and staying one step ahead of the people who have targeted her and her family for execution. But all is not well in the world of the Leopard shifter, as more than one family has been targeted by someone intent on destroying them all. What ensues is the building relationship between Ania and Mitya, and the potential fall-out as secrets and lies, and the struggle for power threaten everyone in Ania and Mitya’s circles.

Ania Dover comes from a long line of leopard shifters who have worked on the periphery of organized crime. A car enthusiast and lover of speed, Ania is more than capable of holding her own when it comes to getting out of harm’s way but Ania is unprepared for the emotional and physical needs of her leopard, and finds herself in situations where she has very little control. Mitya Amurov never thought he would find someone to love especially in the wake of his violent lifestyle and the abuse he suffered as a child but meeting Ania Dover meant the possibility of his own happily ever after if not for the threats against his life by the leopard that is his sire.

The relationship between Ania and Mitya is one of immediate attraction fated by DNA, need and the Han Vol Dan. Mitya Amurov, like all male leopard shifters, is a possessive and controlling man, and is aware that Ania is about to enter into her time of need, a time when every male shifter will target the woman he loves, to make her their own. Ania will become the recipient of many offers as she approaches the Han Vol Dan. Ania struggles with her attraction to Mitya, a man she knows to be dangerous and dark but her father’s rapid decline in health meant Mitya is the man to step up and help the dying shifter in his final hours. The $ex scenes are passionate, erotic, and intense. There are some scenes of spanking and discipline .

Once again, there is a large ensemble cast of strong secondary and supporting characters including Mitya’s cousins and their mates: Evangeline and Fyodor Amurov (Leopard’s Blood #8), Timur and Ashe Amurov (Leopard’s Run #10), as well as Jake Bannaconni, Drake Donovan, Joshua Tegre, Elijah Lospostos, Eli Perez, Mitya’s right hand man Sevastyan, and shifters Vikenti and Zinoviy, Miron, Kiriil and Matvei, Mitya’s father Lazar; Ania’s father Antosha, as well as numerous leopard shifters from various crime families.

LEOPARD’S WRATH is a story of family, betrayal, power and revenge; a story of grief, loss, threats and control. The action packed premise is entertaining, engaging and emotional; the characters are colorful, energetic and dynamic; the romance is spicy, sensual and hot. LEOPARD’S WRATH and the Leopard Series will open up your imagination to the wonders of the paranormal.

Another great book from author Christine Feehan. Leopard's Wrath is the story of Mitya Amurov who has been shaped by his early life wondering if he will ever be able to find love. Enter Ania Dover, she has been watching over her father and trying to keep up the family business. A chance meeting sets in motion a fun and thrilling adventure of them finding a way to each other.

The queen of paranormal romance has done it again with a thrilling, steamy and flamboyantly written addition to the Leopard People Series.

Mitya is an enforcer for his clan, harden, always fighting his beast side. He has accepted the fact that he will never find a mate, until he has a chance encounter with Ania, who soothes his beast. Mitya is scared that his leopard will destroy Ania.

Ania is out for revenge. But something deep inside her is calling out for Mitya. The demanding, dominant Mitya.

This is hot and steamy pairing where Feehan holds nothing back in describing Ania’s and Mitya’s developing relationship.

I’ve read all Feehan’s books and I have to say that she really knows how to bring the heat…in this case, quite literally. I have noticed that some of Feehan’s stories are very dark but this story is dark, but seems less dark than other novels in Feehan’s current lineup.

Check out an excerpt of Leopard's Wrath on Tome Tender.
I received this ARC copy of Leopard's Wrath from Penguin Random House. This is my honest and voluntary review.

4.5 Hearts I rarely find a book from Christine Feehan that I do not enjoy and I am happy to say this one didn’t disappoint either. Mitya and Ania are both trying to find themselves after the lives they have lived and all they have seen in their lives. Mitya has left his past behind but Ania is still trying to live hers with her family dying. But when they find each other they know this is where they are supposed to be.

Ania does wonder if it is the Leopards inside them pushing the human parts together and Mitya has to prove to Ania they are meant to be together in both of their worlds.

Another great read from Feehan. She is one of the Queens of paranormal in my opinion. She is able to pull you in from page one and keep you wanting to take every moment you can to read just one more chapter.

Feehan is one of my never miss and she should be yours too.

I enjoy the Leopard series by Christine Feehan. I like the good vs. bad struggle that these chracters go through trying to clean up the criminal elements. Mitya Amorov immediately lnows Ania Dover is his other half. Ania is not very trusting at the moment as most of her family has been killed and her father is dying. This story follows her search for the killers and how she and Mitya find their way to each other.

Fast and furious with a twist. In this latest Leopard series, Ania is a woman who can drive like no other. Her faster than usual reflexes makes her an ideal getaway driver. She reminds me of Jason Statham in the Transporter, except sexier. This book can be read as a standalone. There are references to other characters from previous books. Ms. Feehan does a great job of providing enough details for backstories and tie ins that it will help new readers pick up on the world very quickly. The details are also a good refresher for readers who haven't read this series in a while.

I loved Ania. She is a woman with spunk and does her very best to save her father. She isn't exactly a daddy's girl. She is best described as a dutiful and loving daughter to her parents and grandparents. The horrendous things which have happened to her family seems to be just the beginning of a new arc in this series. I'm liking it and wanting to know more. Whilst the focus is supposed to be on Ania and Mitya's passionate romance, I'm more intrigued by the underlying story…who is trying to uncover the secret of this consortium of leopard alpha males?

Don't get me wrong, the sex in this book is hawt with an extra heaping. I tend to enjoy Ms. Feehan's shifter series because the sex is more erotic and rougher. The mated pair's primal urges comes to the forefront. Ms. Feehan's descriptions are filled with sensory detail to bring the readers in as an intimate voyeur. Mitya and Ania's struggle for dominance is fun to watch. I particularly enjoy the leopards that reside within them. Mitya's leopard is barely holding on to sanity and his reasoning is coloured by this brutal upbringing. His threats to Ania's leopard is understandable if intimidating. Ania's leopard is hilarious. She's flirty and naughty. She's just asking for a spanking. The interplay between the characters as well as their animals enriches their relationship. This pulls me into the story more and I'm riveted.

Still, I'm curious as to who is trying to undermine the Leopard consortium. There are clues and a few red herrings thrown in. This only makes me want to read the next book in the series immediately. This paranormal romance with a good dose of suspense is recommended to readers who like strong women who can match the strong men in their lives.

Christine Feehan is one of my favourite authors. I have read and re-read her books a lot, but I struggle to enjoy the Leopard series as much as her others.
I liked Leopard's Wrath, but I found myself skim-reading a bit as I was not that engaged with the "hunt the traitor" story. At times Mitya skirted close to the alpha-hole line and Ania was at times a little all over the place. I did like her being such a strong driver, which is not something I'd seen before.
Overall a good book just not quite my cup of tea.

Mitya Amurov grew up with a seriously evil Russian shifter family who tried turning him into a horror like themselves. Along with his cousins, he has rejected that life and is attempting to erase that kind of criminal from the world. Mitya knows his dangerous father is coming for him as well as other shifter leopards who seek to destroy all he and his cousins have built. The last thing Mitya wants or needs is a mate, but when he meets Ania Dover that changes rapidly. Ania is dealing with her own multiple problems including a father who is losing more of himself every day after an attempt on his life which left him in bad shape. Ania has already lost other family members to a suspicious car accident. Trying to run the family business that works on the fringes of the criminal underworld, she is not interested in an alpha male leopard who wants to take Ania over. Other males will come calling as her leopard is in heat, rising for the first time.

Although Ania is very drawn to Mitya, she has no time for someone who wants to seemingly rule her life even for safety’s sake. They spend quite a bit of energy trying figure out a working relationship that both can live with. Ania wants what the other mates have in a relationship without giving up her independence, or the choice to fight by Mitya’s side. Mitya has a hard time not dominating Ania and making it clear their relationship is based on more that animal instinct.

Book #11 in the Leopard People series, many enemies have been established as well at the dynamic of the Amurovs and their allies who are all working to clean up the criminal element of their kind. Besides Mitya’s vile father, another unknown enemy is stalking them and threatening the leopards and their mates as well. This story contains quite a few of steamy scenes perhaps even more so than the previous recent books in the series.

LEOPARD'S WRATH will have you holding your breath as author Christine Feehan weaves her incredible writing magic.
