The Birthday Car is another great young readers book by Margaret Hillert. As a parent to a new reader, I have found this series to be a great way for him to practice his sight words, fluency and reading comprehension. The storylines are engaging and the sentence repetition helped him be able to practice and identify new words and sentence structures. Highly recommend!
