5 Stars!!! I received an ARC of this book and couldn’t wait to read it. I am a big fan of this author and have been looking forward to this since Tumble was released. In Tangle, Adriana Locke takes us back to Dogwood Lane. Haley is a small town girl going through the motions of life, not sure about what she really wants and if love really exists. Trevor Kelly rolls into town, and when they meet over a doughnut and sparks fly. The two characters connect on so many levels. Haley is on a dating hiatus doesn’t want a relationship or to fall in love. Trevor has been in various relationships, doesn’t believe in love and is afraid of commitment. As the story goes, their friendship develops into more, and it is an emotional journey for them to get their happy ending. I really enjoyed the connection between all of the characters in this book. Dogwood Lane is a place where you are friends with everyone, and they have your back and support you through thick and thin. The supporting characters in this book played a big part in the storyline. This book left me with a few laughs and a few tears but in the end it was a wonderful journey.

Once again Adriana Locke has given us small town romance with a lot of heart. This is sort of a reluctant, yet inevitable romance. These two promise they won’t fall in love, but you know how that goes.

Haley loves love, she just hasn’t had much luck with it. Trevor doesn’t think that OTL exists, and he’s also had terrible experiences with the supposed big L. These two have an immediate attraction and pull toward each other. Their banter and connection is so fun, and once they’ve known each other a bit the tension ramps up. But will they keep things in the heartbreak-less friend zone, or will they jump in with both feet to the attraction they both feel. I will say that both of these characters struggle with their feelings and understanding them fully. They will make some choices that frustrate the reader, but when the romance is too easy is it as good? What I appreciate is both characters grow, and there’s nothing wrong with making mistakes if you learn/change from them.

Add in the fun and lovable people living in Dogwood Lane, some new characters, and some theft worthy doughnuts and you have a sweet romance that will make you laugh a bit, make you cry a bit, but will leave you smiling!

4.5 stars! There was so much to love about this book, both Haley and Trevor are fantastic characters, their banter is hilarious and the chemistry is palpable between them. While the storyline is a somewhat common one, it was done well and wasn’t stale or boring in the least. And Penn was the star of the show, I hope we get a book about him soon!

This is Haley and Trevor‘s book, Haley isn’t sure what she wants to do with her life, she works at the local library but with such a small town The library might close down! She ends up getting her dream job and a floral shop! Haley definitely loves her sweets with a cream filled caramel topped doughnut that should be her’s but a pastry thief with dreamy blue eyes ends up swiping the last doughnut! Trevor owns a construction company with his brother and he comes to this little town to build a new mansion for his father and his really young wife, when he orders a delicious donut at the local sweet shop, but before he can take the donut this sassy beautiful girl gives him a hard time because she wants his doughnut! This book was OK i usually love all her books and this one was like I said just OK for me, I loved the first book but… It’s still worth reading definitely low on the steam which is a little different for this author but I do recommend at least giving it a chance it’s not a bad read just not my favorite! Thank you Netgalley and the publishers for sharing this Book with me!

Adriana knocked it out of the park with this one. She takes you on a journey with a hopless romantic and a skeptic. With a little dash of Penn and you have an amazing book.
