This was my first read by Tara.  The prologue had sucked me in, although with chapter 1 happening ten years later I kind of was hoping the main couple Mac and Rose weren't going to meet again so quickly due to the circumstances.  I kind of wanted more of an anticipation as a reader.  I'm also unsure if these characters appear in the other books in this series, but they are all standalones.  I was surprised by the mystery and action that happened and 10% left in the book was glad for a change of a longer ending.  Overall this was a good read!
