What a wonderful book. This is not something I would have normally read but I am so glad that I did because I loved this book. It is perfect for Book Clubs. I have used it for several of my Book Club picks and have suggested it to many friends!!

This was such a breath of fresh air. I have been reading a lot of more intense reads lately, and this was just what I needed. The story of a group of women who bond over the caretaking and deaths of their loved ones seems like it would be a difficult subject matter, but it was written in a way that played out very well. There was friendship, hardship, and love. It showed that the power of friendship and family can bring you through any hardship you face. Thank you, NetGalley, for the eARC. 4 stars

This is a great series, and I enjoyed this book. I loved the way the women lift each other Yo and are always there for each other.

If you have ever lost anyone to cancer then this is the book for you. The story of a group of women, coming together while a parent battles cancer, is a tale of heartbreak but also recovery, sadness but also fun. These girls get together every week to discuss the battles they have a face, they let each other grieve in their own way but benefit from their successes in reestablishing their lives. They are there to lend an ear, idea or shoulder when things don't go their way. This story is a feel-good one that sometimes we all need when we are a bit down on our luck.

Great book, kept me interested (which is hard to do). I even recommended it to my bookclub. My mother in law enjoyed it as well.

It's adorable series, and such a feel good story. But parts just felt a bit rushed, and I was just looking for more depth and character. Nonetheless, it is a good story to curl up with!

The Sunday Potluck Club was born from loss of loved ones but grew into friends supporting each other through life. Amy is a second grade teacher who lost her mother and now has to find a purpose for her life. Bridget just lost her mother and has decided to help animals in a shelter as a way to deal with her grief. We see the girls move through their lives after the loss of their parents while supporting and helping each other along the way.

I enjoyed this book. I loved that it included a group of women uplifting each other. The characters were very relatable and even though this book is based on loss, we see the more positive side of honoring their loss by making something out of their lives.

I received this book for free from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

This is a classic chick lit romance and is a first in the series. It hints some hard topics (all the women have taken care of their parents who have had cancer) and they work through this loss. It is an emotional read, but also feels good at the end. Can't wait to read the rest in this series.

I want to thank NetGalley, the publisher and the author for giving me the opportunity to review this book. I admit in my joy at joining NetGalley I may have been overzealous in my requesting numbers. As this book has already been published, I am choosing to work on the current upcoming publish date books in my que. As I complete those I will work on my backlogged request and will provide a review at that time. I again send my sincere thanks and apologies.

If you want a book to give you all the feelings, this would be the one. I love books about friendships and banding together so this was great. Watching the growth of the main characters was quite a treat! Have a snack handy while reading this, their pot luck dinners sound great!

I loved the characters and the storyline development of this book. It was absolutely one of my favorites so far and I can't wait to delve in to the next one that this author writes. The storyline was simple, enjoyable, and entertaining.

The formatting of this book was difficult for me to read and to understand, while I tried to read the publish copy of this book it was not for me either unfortunately

When Amy's mom dies of cancer, she turns to her Sunday Potluck Club for support. Formed by the friends she made while waiting at the hospital during her mom's chemo treatments, most members lost a parent to cancer or are living with a parent battling cancer. There only rule is that they let each member grieve in their own way. As Amy heads back to work teaching first grade, she worries over member Bridget, and a little girl in her class, Olivia, who both lost their moms to cancer as well. Amy racks her brain to figure out a way to help them both, but do they really want her help?

I found this light Rom-Com easy to read and enjoyable. The characters are endearing and relatable, and since this is the first book in the series, they all return in the next books, for which I look forward to and am excited to read.

I normally don't enjoy women's fiction, But I loved this one and I think it's because of the strong friendship between the two heroines and the food aspects didn't hurt either. I forward to future books by Melissa Storm.

DNF - I attempted to return to this novel a few times but could not get past the first few chapters. It just didn't hook me in, unfortunately.

I was only able to read an excerpt so I'm unable to give this a true review - but the portion I read was interesting! Love the concept of the book and will hunt it down at the library to read more.

A lovely book with a lovely story.. The story had lots of potential, but i couldn't stop feeling like it was too rushed.

Oh my goodness! I absolutely loved this book! Once I started, I couldn't put it down and finished it in one sitting. Yes, it's as predictable as a Hallmark holiday movie, but that doesn't stop it from being a well-written, entertaining story that enchants and captivates. I look forward to reading book 2!
