This is such a sweet and heartwarming story of friendship. These girls fond each other during a difficult time and the sisterhood that bloomed was enjoyable to read.

New friends can be found in unexpected places. For Bridget and Amy, that place was the cancer ward of an Anchorage hospital. Now, as each struggles to overcome loss, they lean on each other for support—sharing suppers, laughter and tears.

This book was sweet and heartwarming. I also loved seeing this budding sisterhood. It was really beautiful to read.

This was SUCH a cute, heartwarming story about two friends. I can't wait for the next book to come out. This would make a perfect book-club pick and I have recommended it to quite a few friends. I breezed right through this.

I enjoyed this story, although it didn't quite grab me in the way that I hoped it would. This book has strong characters, a good storyline and plenty of emotions throughout. I'd happily read another by Melissa Storm.

I received an excerpt of this book and it already hit me in the feels. This book has a lot of heavy themes, it is surrounded by death and grief.

It follows 4 girls who become friends after meeting each other at a cancer ward, each of them except one lose their parents to the disease and it follows them after that

In the excerpt, I really liked whatever I’ve read of their friendship and this book is written very well and you really root for the characters to get better and feel better.

I would really like to read the whole story soon

Book one in The Sunday Potluck Club series a well written story with a very good storyline. A story of two friends Bridget and Amy who meet through difficult times and how that friendship grows. I recommend this book. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This was simply a preview and not the full book. From what I read so far it seems like this might be an enjoyable read. I'm looking forward to getting to know the characters!

The Sunday Potluck CLub by Melissa Storm is an absolutely adorable book that is much deeper than it originally appears. I loved being immersed in these characters' lives and watch them come to terms with the tragedies and conflicts in their lives.

The Sunday pot luck club
4 stars

I didn’t realize it was only a snippet of the book. It starts off good. It’s the story of four friends who meet in a
Cancer ward because they are caring for a sick parent. This is the start of the third funeral and one of the parents is in
Remission. They have a pact to not judge how each of them
Grieve but they second member Amy, who lost her mother a month before, they nod her friend Bridget is not dealing with her mother’s loss. Amy is just returning to work but hadn’t been herself since her mother’s Passing. The book seems interesting and I would consider finishing it.

I really liked The Sunday Potluck Club by Melissa Storm! The story of four women who meet in the hospital cafeteria while each one has a parent going through chemotherapy. Thus begins the Sunday potluck club. An extremely tight bond forms between them. The type of bonds that will last a lifetime. They support each other through parents death and ones cure. They argue, are outspoken, are opinionated, laugh, anger each other, nose into each others business, do what they think is right for each other whether you like it or not but love each other, deeply. When one or another believes all is lost, their life in ruins their potluck friends are there eager to help, support, listen, hug or tell you exactly what you need to hear. Eventually you just may realize that your friends know you better than you know yourself. Okay, yes, there is new love found and life long commitments made. Their friendship is the perfect example of what a forever friend should be. Enjoy!

As someone who, unfortunately, has attended a funeral recently, this one hit home for me, in a great way. This is the kind of club I would strive for in real life under better circumstances, but I loved the character development in this one and this was a beautiful story of friendship and life after the death of a loved one. This one was a great balance between love and loss.

This author had a way of hooking me from the start. As someone who has lost loved ones to the dreaded "Big C," I wasn't sure if I would like this book. But it was so much more than characters dealing with sick family members. This book was about living a life full of love, hope, friendship, grief, and everything else that real people have to deal with--and the kids and dogs were the icing on the cake. I look forward to reading the next books in this series!

Unfortunately, I did not have the opportunity to read/review this book due to other commitments. I will certainly update this review if/when I have the chance to read the book. Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the advance copy.

Some subjects need writing about, the Sunday Potluck Club certainly seems to do that well... Just from this preview, I felt invested in Annie's story and curious for more of her friends. Any story that gets me curious as to "will they" and "might it" in the first couple of chapters get's a definite thumbs up from me!
