I've read several Christmas romances this year, and some have hit it out of the park while others, well, not so much. Out of all of them, I have to say that A Wedding in December is my favorite so far. This is a romance, and it takes place during the week leading up to Christmas, but it's so much more than just another Christmas romance. This is the story of a family and all that it entails. We have three women, a mother and her two grown daughters, each dealing with something and worried about stressing the other two. Of course, there were a few things that were a little over the top. This is fiction after all, but for the most part, this whole story just felt real, like something we'd hear about from a family member or experience ourselves. Maggie's marital problems certainly rang true, especially to someone who has been married for years. I know all too well how easy it is to get caught up in work, kids, life in general and get complacent in the relationship. Sometimes it takes something big to shock us out of our everyday existence, and a wedding at Christmas is one such event. In the end, we have three romances, with Maggie and Nick being prevalent, at least for me, and a family that I couldn't help but get caught up in. This one is certainly not the usual Christmas romance fluff, so there is angst, but the author wonderfully tempers that angst with wit and fun, and it all worked to be thoroughly charming. This is my first read by Sarah Morgan, and I must say that the writing style combined with characters so real they practically leap off the page drew me in from the beginning and didn't let go.

A Wedding in December was another unexpected delight for a number of reasons! It follows three romances – all very different but very sweet. The White family are all gathering in Aspen for youngest daughter Rosie's "whirlwind Christmas wedding" to Dan. That's romance number one and the one I'd rank third. For Rosie, she's always been babied and has been known to be impulsive but she knows she loves her fiancé. That is until the pressure from everyone starts to give her doubts. Next up is older sister Kate who is very cynical in general but even more so due to the demands of her job at the hospital. She wants nothing more than to stop the wedding but when she arrives, she finds herself in a romance of her own with the best man Jordan. I actually felt the chemistry between these two, which is why I'd rank them in the middle. And last but not least, there's the parents Maggie and Nick, aka my favorite romance of the whole book! (Bet you didn't see that coming. I certainly didn't!) Their girls don't know it but they've been separated for months and are on the brink of divorce but they decide to keep lying so they don't overshadow the nuptials. This means they have to pretend to still be a happily married couple. Except while they pretend, it gives them a chance to talk and reconnect and it was surprisingly swoony. The book alternates chapters between all three women and I honestly looked forward to Maggie's the most!

Do I recommend? I do! If you love romance novels that also include crazy family dynamics and alternating POVs, this one is for you.

I was so excited to get my hands on, A Wedding in December by Sarah Morgan. I started unsure of whether or not the three main characters would clash and create a mediocre attempt at a Christmas drama but I am so glad to report that that is definitely not the case here. I was immediately impressed by Morgan’s writing and she has now become another favourite author of mine because of this book! This marks my third post in a blog tour with HARLEQUIN and I am so excited for more!

This book was broken down into three different perspectives and each one worked flawlessly and overlapped just right, providing a complete story with no loose ends. I connected most with “prickly” and practical Katie but you didn’t have to relate to any of the characters to understand and feel for Maggie, Katie and Rosie. Readers were privy to all of their thoughts and at least for me I found that I wasn’t thrown for a curveball when they acted out of character because it didn’t happen. Their actions clearly reflected each of their personalities and each had to deal with and overcome their own weaknesses when it came to love. Which again I’m glad were not the same. This was a tale tracing three women of different ages and covers a range of relationship woes that were forced to be handled in time for a Christmas wedding.

I am so happy that the publishers at Harlequin and Netgalley gave me this opportunity to read A Wedding in December by Sarah Morgan because I loved everything about it. The romance was filled with substance and emotion. It wasn’t immediate (apart from Rosie’s decision to marry so quickly) Each relationship proved to have issues no matter how long you’ve known the person or what state you, yourself are in. All characters’ experience struggles and most importantly resolve them on their own.

I was impressed by how genuine Maggie was with her daughters. It was as if it was me, my sister and my mom in this book. It just felt so real and it was incredibly easy to relate to despite my age (at just 23) especially for Maggie’s chapters. I didn’t feel lost in her perspective despite her age and experience and I give all that credit to Morgan’s writing. She clearly planned out every minute detail and crafted such tight character profiles that gave the story an easy flow. She reminded me a lot of my own family and that created a strong bond from the beginning. From then on I knew that I was going to love this book! I also loved how real Maggie’s and Katie’s reactions were to Rosie’s upcoming nupitals because it was exactly what I would think too! Bravo!

“Her sister’s capacity to forgive human frailty was both her strength and her weakness. It made her vulnerable to every loser and user that crossed her path. Was Dan one of those?”

Despite being the younger sister myself, this quote resonated with me. This is exactly what a sister would think. Her fierce need to protect Rosie was immediate and everlasting. She never wavered from acting in her sister’s best interest and I simply adored Morgan’s portrayal of these two. Very genuine! I also appreciated Dan’s reaction to Katie’s overbearingly obvious questions to test his worthiness. He never blamed or punished her for looking out for her sister and not once did he try to tell her to butt out and get a life (which could have easily been done) no he respected her love for her sister and even told Rosie that she was lucky to have a sister like her. It was adorable and gave his character a huge boost. Well done for not overstepping Dan! He chose not to be a jerk and that I respect immensely. I didn’t have to eye roll once when he was in scenes which was great because that could have been a very easy route to go in this story and I’m super glad that that’s not where it went! Great choice!

“Twenty-two.’ He spooned sugar into his coffee. ‘If this were ancient Egypt, she would have been married a decade ago.” Comments like that, Maggie thought, were why a woman needed girlfriends.”

Nick and Maggie were the hilarious couple in here. From history lessons about marriage like this tidbit above to the awkward attempts at faking their relationship, every stumble and every fall just made them love each other more. Morgan’s incorporation of witty banter and balanced humour conveyed the perfect amount of familiarity achieved through 35 years of marriage. Simply put, she nailed it! Maggie and Nick were so cute in their flustered sham of a second honeymoon I almost died of laughter. The humour here made them come to life and I loved it. And Nick is very likable! He is definitely a keeper!

“I happen to think that being easy to read is a quality, not a flaw. Generally, I’m not big on advice, but I’m going to give you some anyway because Dan’s like a brother to me and I don’t want to see him hurt, I don’t want to see either of you hurt.” Jordan stared straight ahead of him. “Don’t compare your relationship to anyone else’s. The only people who know what goes on inside a marriage are the two people involved.”

And this is why I loved Jordan. Not only is this man swoon-worthy (which he truly is!) but he’s also wise and incredibly humble. Good humble. Most of the story had Maggie and Katie believing that marriage was too much for Rosie. She had just met the man and they saw it as a peer-pressured Christmas wedding by Dan’s mother. This probably took longer than it should to be addressed but his point still stands. I’m not going to lie this was one of my only issues with this book because I myself couldn’t believe the amount of times Rosie would basically chant as a reassurance that her marriage with Dan will work because her parents’ marriage did. It’s like you aren’t your parents, times change. Nick isn’t Dan and you aren’t Maggie. She told herself this a little too much and it never really made much sense to me. But I am so glad that Morgan used Jordan’s character, a complete outsider not yet entangled in this family’s drama to point out this fundamental concept. From then on his character just got better and better.

Morgan made a story so relatable that I can’t help but recommend this to absolutely everyone. It is THE perfect Christmas romance/drama and it’s based around a very relatable and completely dysfunctional family. Who doesn’t have one of those?

This book was real and I loved it!

“It sounds like the plot of a romance novel.” He gave a tired smile. “Perhaps that’s where I went wrong. I never read a romance novel. Maybe if I had, I might have learned a thing or two. Maybe my marriage wouldn’t have crashed.”

I loved this quote so much I had to include it somewhere. I just started getting into this genre and I’ve really come to appreciate all the lessons and stories that are hidden within plots. I see more of the characters and their struggles and I feel like this genre is a master class at this. I love it !

And please if you’re looking for a well written Christmas drama with monstrous dashes of romance please take a chance on A Wedding in December because it truly is worth all the stars!

Holiday romance books are in full swing this time of year! I just finished Sarah Morgan’s, A Wedding in December and it met all my cozy holiday reading needs. Thank you to Harlequin Books and Netgalley for a Digital copy of this book to read and share as part of Their Holiday Blog Tour. This was not your typical romance book. Yes, the story does revolve around Rosie and Dan’s unexpected Christmas wedding. However, in addition to their high speed romance, Morgan’s story also takes a long hard look at Maggie and Nick’s marriage ( Rosie’s parents) and Katie’s ( Rosie’s sister) personal life. Morgan’s characters are all well developed. As you flip through the pages, you watch their individual struggles and self discovery unfold with the snowy Colorado mountains lingering in the background. The family relationships in this story are great, the atmosphere is charming, and the romance is wicked sweet. The steam level is relatively low in this book. There are a few scenes toward the end that heat up, but nothing too over the top. Enjoy this holiday treat.

Rosie is about to be married…but she is having second thoughts…BIG TIME! Katie, her sister, is determined Rosie is making a mistake…and boy is she planning on proving it. Maggie, their mom, is hiding her own big secret.

Sarah Morgan always creates the best characters with the best quips and funny interactions. This book made me laugh out loud in places. Not only is it funny…it is heartfelt and inspiring. And the setting of the beautiful mountains of Colorado is amazing. I felt like I was right there enjoying the scenery.

This is a perfect, fun romance for any season. But, the setting of Christmas and family wedding just puts the perfect spin on a great story.

I received this novel from the publisher for a honest review.

Sarah Morgan can make you feel warm and cozy. Having read several books of her From Manhattan With Love series, I was very happy to receive an arc for A Wedding in December. And indeed: pull up a chair, sip some hot cocoa and enjoy this wonderful story of Rosie and her family. When Katie gets a call in the middle of the night from her sister Rosie, who tells her she will be married in a few weeks at Christmas, Katie knows that Rosie is making a mistake. Surely, she couldn't be happy with the guy she met only a few months ago. So, she packs up her stuff and travels over to her sister and her soon-to-be brother-in-law-but-not-if-she-can-help-it.
Also her parents are underway to Aspen, Colorado to attend their daughters wedding. But Nick and Maggie have a secret of their own: they have been living apart for the last six months. But how to tell your very happy daughter, that her parents are getting a divorce? Or how can they tell their eldest daughter that love indeed isn't forever? Because that will only prove Katie right.
So, while Nick and Maggie are struggling to pretend their marriage is okay, Katie is convinced she needs to stop the marriage of her sister. And Rosie feels overwhelmed by everything. Will everyone work it out in this cozy Christmas read? Or will it not be a Merry Christmas for anyone?
Four out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

I really don’t know where to start with this review. This was a stunning story, the writing, the plot, the characters. I fell in love with it and prolonged my reading because I didn’t want it to end.
This is actually three love stories in one. You’ve got the main story line, Rosie, the youngest daughter is getting married. Not only is she getting married, but it’s happening in one month, and in Colorado of all places. Now her sister, Katie, a doctor in London, and they’re parents Nick and Maggie who live in Oxford are flying in for the event.
But that’s not the only romance in the story. Nick and Maggie have been split up for a few months now, but Maggie’s afraid to tell her daughters. She’s asked Nick for time to tell their girls and he agreed. But, now with the wedding and the long flight from England to Colorado, they’ve decided to pretend to still be married, and pretend that they’re on a second honeymoon. I mean, what can go wrong?
Then we have overworked Katie, she’s still recovering from an event at the hospital that she hasn’t told her family about. An overachiever, she’d decided at a young age that she wanted to be a doctor so that she could take care of Rosie and her asthma. But now she’s having second thoughts about her career. Given sick time to recover, she uses her time in Colorado to think about her future. It doesn’t help when Jordan, the best man, is just what she needs. But Katie’s not there for just reflection and healing, she’s there to stop her sister from making the biggest mistake of her life. Seriously, who meets, falls in love, and gets married so quickly. At least that’s Katie’s thoughts.
I truly enjoyed the weaving of the three stories. You learn so much about each one, but at the same time, the story line doesn’t drag. When Katie succeeds in her mission, you feel all the emotions that everyone’s feeling. By the end, I was so invested in these fictional characters and their stories that I had a few tears falling. This is the perfect book if you’re looking for a Christmas romance.
**I received an ARC of this book from Netgalley and Harlequin Romance and this is my honest and voluntary review.

Rosie is having a whirlwind Christmas wedding, in Aspen so her whole family is traveling there. Rosie's sister Katie is against marriage and thinks her sister is being to hasty and doesn't know the groom to be well enough. Rosie has always done spur of the moment things and they don't usually last so Katie thinks it is her job to talk her sister out of this. The best man Jordan interferes with her plans.
Meanwhile we are finding out the girls' parents are getting divorced but haven't told anyone yet. The groom's mom keeps setting them up on romantic jaunts. Will this change their minds about each other?
I really wanted to be there in person at the resort. How everything is described sounds like heaven.
Thank you to Harlequin and NetGalley for an ARC.

I'm not a huge Hallmark movie fan, but I imagine A Wedding in December is something like those movies. It has sweet and steamy romance, family drama, miscommunication that creates tension, and loads of holiday cheer to boot. The characters can be a little frustrating to read sometimes, but with this kind of book it's best not to take it too seriously or think too much about what's happening. If you like cozy holiday romances, you'll like A Wedding in December.

We are midway into December and it’s only 2 more weeks or so until Christmas. I think it’s safe to say that holiday reading and recommendations are in full swing – unless you’re like me and can curl up with a Christmas novel in the middle of July. Sun, rain, snow – I don’t care what the weather looks like outside or what the calendar says, there’s something delightful in the feel-good formula that most holiday-themed tales will deliver.

Harlequin is hosting a Holiday Blog Tour that began December 1st and I’m thrilled to be a part of it. They were kind enough to offer a number of titles to choose from and {one of} my selections was A WEDDING IN DECEMBER by Sarah Morgan.

First, this novel had me laughing on multiple occasions. The lies we tell can get us into some seriously interesting situations and this family has some issues (don’t we all!) I also don’t mean that in a bad way – they all just wanted to protect each other so badly that things, frankly, often went badly. There was a lot to unwrap in this one as it wasn’t just a quick romance – it had some depth and layers to it. Gorgeous setting and great characters that I loved at times and wanted to throw into a snowbank at others. Some heat and lots of romance and so much poor communication. Overall, 8 out of 10 mistletoes – it had more of the heart I was looking for in a novel set over the holidays without being overly sweet like a gingerbread latte with too many pumps of syrup. Bonus points for the gorgeous cover design!

Another holiday book by Sarah Morgan, and I loved it!! She's one of my go-to's for holiday stories with great relationships between the characters and perfect settings.

This story features a mother and her two grown daughters, all with romance in their plot lines. Rosie's wedding is probably the spine of the story-the reason the entire family traveled from Oxford to the US in the first place-but her older sister Katie ends up being pursued by someone and I loved the way this relationship unfolded, even though Katie is quite prickly. Rosie's parents Maggie and Nick also take up some page space with their own relationship issues (I love these two!).

There are alternating chapters from the POV of Maggie and her daughters, and I chuckled throughout. If there is any heaviness to any of the characters' stories, it is lightened by the humor within. I felt particularly close to Maggie's story, as her daughters have left home and have lives of their own, and she is lonely without them. I couldn't get enough of her story of having to figure out who she is again for the next stage of her life. She reminds herself that she is resourceful and that she is worthy of friends, happiness, and the affection of the man she loves.

ALL of the secondary characters, the snowy family-owned resort setting at Christmastime, and the great ending solidified this story for me. I know that I can depend on Sarah Morgan to warm my heart and give me stories that I keep rereading over and over and over.

Maggie and Nick White are traveling to the United States from England for their youngest daughter Rosie's wedding. The wedding is last minute and it is at Christmastime. Thing is, Maggie and Nick are hiding that fact that they will soon be divorced. They agree to pretend to still be madly in love in order for Rosie's day to go off without a hitch.

Full stop ... the trip in (with the result of Maggie's fear of flying) was hilarious ...

However, when they meet the groom's family, particularly his mom, they discover that a warm and romantic weekend, with no holds barred, has been planned for them. Meanwhile, Katie, Rosie's older sister, thinks things have happened too quickly, and will do whatever she can to stop the wedding.

No worries, Katie has her own distraction ... sexy best man, Jordan ...

What a fun story! I never read Sarah Morgan before, but that certainly ends here. The story was great. It was funny, sweet, charming and emotional at times, especially concerning Maggie.

Oh, and I want a treehouse ... guess you will have to read the story to see why I say that.

Many thanks to Harlequin and to NetGalley for this ARC for review. This is my honest opinion.

This book had a lot of potential to fall flat, whether it was from underdeveloped characters or a predictable plot line, but it managed to repeatedly surprise me. The characters had depth and grew as the novel continued. You felt empathy for the characters and wanted to learn more about their backstories. This novel felt a little bit like an Emily Griffin novel, so I think if you enjoyed those, you would enjoy this.

BOOK REVIEW⠀
BOOK: A Wedding in December
AUTHOR: Sarah Morgan
@sarahmorganwrites

A perfect read for a snowed in holiday! Or if you were me, a Caribbean cruise (pool time y’all). I really expected this book to go in a completely different way than it did. The author weaves together 3 different character storylines (Mom and 2 sisters) in such a way that it seamless captures the various stages of love or loss of love.

Most of the time I enjoy chic lit, so I wasn't sure if this one would hold my attention. But I have to say I was drawn in by the story and the setting of this book quite quickly. There were times I even got a little choked up! Pick this story up and read quickly with some cocoa. You won’t regret it.

Short Synopsis (from Goodreads):
In the snowy perfection of Aspen, the White family gathers for youngest daughter Rosie’s whirlwind Christmas wedding. First to arrive are the bride’s parents, Maggie and Nick. Their daughter’s marriage is a milestone they are determined to celebrate wholeheartedly, but they are hiding a huge secret of their own: they are on the brink of divorce. After living apart for the last six months, the last thing they need is to be trapped together in an irresistibly romantic winter wonderland.

Rosie’s older sister, Katie, is also dreading the wedding. Worried that impulsive, sweet-hearted Rosie is making a mistake, Katie is determined to save her sister from herself! If only the irritatingly good-looking best man, Jordan, would stop interfering with her plans…

I received this book for review purposes from NetGalley. ⠀

From my blog: Always With a Book:

Once again, Sarah Morgan proves while she can write a fun, cozy holiday-themed book, she also gives us a story that has substance to it. Last year, I had read The Christmas Sisters, which I absolutely adored and this year, I found myself completely charmed by this story as well. Perhaps I'm just a sucker for a story about the relationships between sisters and families, but this one is definitely one to pick up.

I loved the way this story is told, alternating between the two sisters and the mother. I felt this allows us to really get to know the three women and she their internal struggles. They each seem to be at a bit of a crossroads, though none of the others know this about the other. They just think Rosie is jumping the gun in marrying so soon. But are Katie and Maggie projecting their own issues on Rosie?

Sarah Morgan knows how to create real, relatable characters and I felt that the relationship between the two sisters was spot on. I also could totally empathize with Maggie on how she was feeling now that she had an empty nest, even though I do not have kids...you spend your whole life devoting all your time to your kids and then what? I get that. And I could feel how you might be stuck in a job that is not fulfilling...we've all been there at some point in our lives.

This book has so many endearing, charming moments but it also has those poignant moments, too. And it has quite a few aha moments - points where I found myself pausing to reflect on my own life.

This is a wonderful, cozy book that would make a perfect holiday read. It's got an amazing setting in the Colorado mountains that just begs you to be all snug and warm under your blankets as you read it.

Family Crises Surround a Christmas Wedding

Maggie is looking forward to having her family back together for Christmas at Honeysuckle Cottage near Oxford when her impulsive daughter, Rosie calls and upends the family’s plans. She’s getting married at Christmas in Aspen, Colorado in the US. Of course, Rosie wants her parents there. The problem is that Maggie and Nick are waiting for their divorce to be final. Maggie can’t bear to tell the family at the wedding, so she asks Nick to pretend they’re still together.

Katie, Maggie’s older daughter, is a busy ER doctor in Oxford. She’s working too many hours and struggling with an incident that happened at work. She immediately thinks Rosie is making a mistake and is determined to stop the wedding. Rosie, herself, is nervous. She made an impulsive decision to marry Dan. She does love him, but what if it was too quick. She knows she’s impulsive and sometimes it doesn’t work out well.

This is a lovely, heartwarming story of a family overcoming their problems and coming back together at Christmas. The setting at a gorgeous lodge in Aspen is perfect. It’s a wonderful spot for a wedding and healing hearts.

Maggie is a strong character. She wants to hold the family together, but is she making the right decision to divorce Nick? I didn’t care for Katie. I thought she was too sanctimonious and take charge. Luckily, she grew over the course of the story.

This is a great romance in the spirit of Christmas.

I received this book from Harlequin for this review.

A Wedding in December takes us through 3 women’s stories, a mother and her two grown daughters, who are all going through some things in their lives. Maggie, the mother’s marriage has hit a stalemate and her and Nick have been living apart for some time now. Their daughters Rosie and Katie don’t know. Rosie is so excited about her sudden engagement to Dan and soon wedding, she wakes up her family in the middle of the night to tell them. Katie has been distancing herself from her family for the past few weeks after going through something traumatic. Maybe this wedding is just what they need to bring them together.

These three women, all different in their own ways, have their own sets of issues to work through. Rosie, our bride to be is having doubts but is keeping them to herself. She has this picture perfect idea of marriage, one like her parents. But, Maggie is hiding her marital issues from her daughters. So the plan is to act like the happy couple her girls believe they are until after the wedding. But with the beautiful setting, the activities that Caroline, Dan’s mother has planned for the happy couple, steers this couple in a new direction. Katie isn’t convinced that Rosie is doing the right thing either marrying a man she’s only been dating a short while. But Katie is in for a surprise herself when she meets Jordan the soon to be groom’s best friend who annoys the ever living crap out of her, but that doesn’t last long. I enjoyed these two’s time together and maybe he was just she needed.

There were a few other characters like Nick, Maggie’s husband that I just adored and then there is Caroline, Dan’s mother who at first I did find a little pushy with taking over the wedding planning but after learning her story, I ended up liking her so much. Dan, the soon to be groom, was such a good guy, I could certainly see why Rosie was smitten. Overall, this had such a wonderful cast of realistic characters, ones you can’t help but to like and root for.

The setting at Snowfall Lodge is a wintry and magical setting with romantic sleigh rides, dog sledding a snowball fights. It was all described so vividly described it was like being right there with them. This is a place I would visit in heartbeat, blizzard and all. But at the center of this story was a story of family, self discovery, communication, and one of love. I found myself snickering and smiling at parts and others my heart went out them for what they were going through. Overall, it was such an enjoyable read and I can’t recommend it enough. Definitely a good one for this time of year too.

A Wedding in December centers around the three White women: Maggie the mom, and her two adult girls, Katie and Gracie, each having their own life crisis. Twenty-two-year-old Gracie calls home to announce she’s getting married on Christmas Eve, in Aspen, Colorado, disrupting their family tradition of Christmas in at home in the family home of Honeysuckle Cottage, Oxford, England, and the wedding is to take place in just a few weeks.

Maggie has been separated from Nick after thirty-two years of marriage and they’re headed for divorce, even though they don’t hate each other and the thought fills Maggie with sadness. She convinces her estranged husband to pretend they’re still together so as not to ruin Gracie’s wedding with their news.

Katie, an ER doctor, had a traumatic experience at work, and is dealing with PTSD, but even before that her job had been sucking the life out of her. When Katie hears the news of her sister’s impending wedding, she’s sure this is just another one of Gracie’s rash decisions, so she makes plans to go and stop it before Gracie makes a huge mistake.

Gracie is getting married to a man she loves with her whole heart, but after speaking with her mom and sister she wonders if she was a little impulsive making the date so soon. Is she making the right choice?

The White family arrive in Aspen to a winter wonderland, but will their troubles spoil the beauty?

I was so charmed by this story even if I did want to shake the characters a time or two. All their problems felt realistic and understandable, even if I thought the solutions were simple if they just took the time to step back and analyze. I feel like I could be guilty of irrational and unreasonable reactions when dealing with high emotions, with people I love, so I could totally understand where each person was coming from. With that said, I think Katie tried my patience the most, because I felt like she was butting in where she had no business. However, in the context of Katie’s life and their upbringing I could understand even though she was creating drama, it stemmed from love.

I think I was most invested in Maggie and Nick’s story, because I felt sort of a bond being of a similar age and being married the same amount of years. I really wanted these two to work things out, there didn’t seem any good reason not to. Gracie’s wedding forced them to spend time together in sort of a fake “second honeymoon” situation that led to rediscovery of feelings, passion and love. I adored their journey!

A Wedding in December touched my heart and made me root for the happiness of every characters! And the setting of Christmas in Aspen, snow, pine trees, gondola rides, snowball fights, and warm fires was perfection! Beautifully described and just so lovely! Perfect read for this time of year!
