It started out interesting then it kind of fell flat to me. The two main characters didn't have much character development and i didn't feel the chemistry between them. It all happend too fast for my liking in this one.

I want to start with saying something I usually, if applicable, end a review with: this is an absolute must-read!
I loved that this story surprised me so much. It had turns I didn’t expect at all!

Italian beauty, Thom, sees Gerry approaching, an attractive ginger in a kilt, he’s enjoying this view more than his ice cream. When Gerry joins Thom at his table they start talking, flirting and the attraction is immediate. Thom is straight to the point; he wants something with Gerry.
After a heavy passionate night and morning together, which were unbelievably beautifully and intensely described, they make promises.
Thom is more than disappointed when there is no sign of Gerry after that one night.
He is deeply hurt and also angry.

When their paths crossed more than once it seemed they were irreparable.
Seeing both men fight, lose, and stumble, was hard. Even with their attraction still going strong.
Thom lost control over his life in an earlier relationship and wants to find a way to reclaim it.
The big question was, could they overcome.

Goshhhh, I’m so impressed by this story. There is so much going on.
Besides all those delicious steamy, sexy encounters there is also a wonderful story with substantial layers. Read it and you will be surprised!!

Gerry and Thom; their personalities and actions were beautifully flawed. You can only respect these sensible men, so real and sensitive. The story was unpredictable, and I loved that, it was considerate of all the emotions, honest and at times painfully real.
It flowed well, was intense and enjoyable from the very first line.

The first part I enjoyed, pretty much a one night stand between Thom and Gerry. Both characters were strong - the kilt was a nice touch - and throughout the book there was plenty of sex.

The second part I felt sorry for Thom until they met again. The ending was pretty shocking and at that point I probably started to hate Thom.

The start of the final part was a bit ugh because anyone coming in between Thom and Gerry is a no no. Again more sex anytime anywhere.

The characters that really stood out for me were the friends, Abram, Teddy and Carlos. Drunk Abram is worth cheering on and you just can’t hate Carlos.

Fantastic! The buildup was very well done and I really connected to the characters. For the length of the book I was impressed with how the author was able to truly flesh out all the characters.

The story revolves around two men, Thom and Gerry, who meet by accident and are attracted to each other. It tells about the ups and downs they go thru before they find happiness. They each apologize for actions they took that was not in the best interest of the other person. Things worked out in the end but it was a rough road for each of them. It was a good read and I would highly recommend it.

This series of stories concerns Thom and Gerry who meant outside an ice cream shop in Minneapolis. Thom is immediately attracted to the eccentric man in the kilt who is equally taken with the tanned Italian guy. It seems that their meeting isn’t going any further until fate seems to take a hand, which seems to keep happening as we proceed. Hot and interesting. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own

This book was a wild ride of scorching sex, tantalizing BDSM and tumultuous emotions.

When Thom meets kilted Welshman, Gerry over ice cream on a hot day - the attraction is immediate. Their quick-witted banter whets their appetites and Gerry seeks out Thom's company later that night. What begins as a one night stand ends with a promise of "something more" ... that doesn't pan out.

Thom is hurt that Gerry doesn't contact him... leaves him behind as though he never existed. However, his ever-helpful (in an annoyingly humorous way) friends orchestrate a second meeting for Gerry and Thom; Thus begins the roller coaster ride of push and pull between two men who are far more complex than they first appear.

Great character development and a quick-paced plot made this an enjoyable read.

Loved it. Every single word.
It's not a long book (just shy of 150 pages) but the depth of the characters is unimaginable. Teddy, Carlos, Abram, Thom, Gerry, they were all well-fleshed out and amazing to read. I loved the short funny plot which, as with any plot in a romance book, could have been solved in a heartbeat if our protagonists just talked. Which they did eventually because, you know, we have to have a book to read.
I loved the funny light-hearted writing style and the writer didn't go overboard with the description like most authors do these days. This is the perfect book for pride month and I'm so thankful I got to read it. It won't change your life but it will entertain you for a good two hours.
4.5 stars

There's Always Something is a collection of three books that are all interconnected. You'll definitely want to start with the first one in the series. The trilogy follows Thom and Gerry's love life together. I love the author's writing style. I enjoyed the books. And I really do like Thom and Gerry!
