This book gives a peek of "old-time" gangsters and their "code of conduct". There isn't much connection to today's suburban kids, but for those interested in that time period and/or culture, it is enjoyable to read.

An interesting take on organized crime, from the perspective of a former crime boss pulling one last caper with the assistance of a janitor from his nursing home. The story moves quickly, but does tend towards the bloody side, so if you are uncomfortable with graphic violence this may not be the book for you.
