Thank you NetGalley for the read. While the story was cute it was really hard to read on the Kindle. The spacing was all wrong and sentences were cut up into pieces and not all on the same page. I would probably give the book 3 or maybe 4 stars if I had a hardcover to see.

***Thanks to the publisher and #Netgalley for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review***

I love when books throw a curve ball at you. Ant-eaters that don't want to eat ants! That's hilarious. The rhyming scheme and general fun of this book pulled me right in and I especially loved the ants that commented on every page.

This is a cute little book about two anteaters. One doesn’t like ants and the other can’t believe that he doesn’t like ants. The second anteater won’t eat anything else. Eventually the first anteater talks the second anteater into trying something besides ants and he finds he likes the other foods! My six-year-old thought it was funny. I’d recommend this book to other friends with young children.

A cute, funny story for little children. First of all, I absolutely adored the illustration. Secondly, the rhyming on the book is a clever way to recount the peculiar but remarkable debate of two anteaters, about whether the ants should be the only food that an anteater can consume. The story itself is a great and smart way of giving food for thought to little kids, without being didactic in a strict manner: Trying new things can be fun and eventually pleasant enough, as long as you are willing to give it a chance.
