Good book that will take you no time to get through. Laugh out loud funny at some parts. If you are a parent this book will speak to you.

This is the perfect summer beach read when you are on a chair with a cocktail in hand and not disturbed. I certainly laughed out loud at times and could have read a while book from Daniel's perspective. Super fun!

This is another addition to the wonderfully funny 'No One Ever' series. And this time, Katy and Ben - along with their close friends - are going on holiday. The cast has grown since No-One Ever Had Sex on a Tuesday, now including Daniel's adoring husband Gabriel, pal Braindead's girlfriend Abby, and of course, all the kids.

When the group plan a holiday to Spain, it should be a time of relaxation and excitement, but alas, with small children, Katy soon realises the holiday will be anything but. And their plans for fun and quite possibly a bit of romance in the sun are immediately foiled by a hotel room that's not what they expected, and a hotel full of screaming children. Add in an unexpected hen party into the mix, along with newly-jilted new friend Ollie, and there are soon to be plenty of hilarious mishaps.

Those who haven't read the previous books may find this one a bit confusing, so its advisable to check out the first four (personally I found the earlier ones to be most enjoyable). But even so, this is a fun, light read with plenty of laughs. Some parts did annoy me - sometimes the parents came across as rather entitled - but all in all this is an enjoyable book that's absolutely perfect for some holiday escapism!

This is definitely a quick read but not really in the enjoyable sense more like I need to read this quickly so I can finish and move on to something else. It follows 3 families as they go on a vacation together for a week. Which the story tries to portray as a disaster holiday but really it just seemed like a bunch of rich snobs complaining about every little thing! You went on a “vacation” with kids to a family resort what did you think it would be like? The characters we unrelatable and seriously why did we need to continually refer to the one character by his nickname braindead? They all annoyed me with their whining and snivelling over nothing that was truly a disaster. This is the 5th story in the series and I haven’t read others so maybe I would’ve enjoyed it more if I had read the first 4 but I’m not sure I could stand to read for more books with these characters. I did lol a couple times and the entire boat party chapter was great but other then that just not a great read for me.

Thank you to Net Galley and Bookoture for this ARC in exchange for my honest review

A vacation abroad with close friends and all the kids - what could go wrong? This is book 5 in the No-One Ever has Sex series - full disclosure that I have not read any of the previous ones so maybe it would have changed my rating; although the storyline seems pretty standalone.

You can finish this book in about 2 hours. The writing is simple and the plot predictable. I know the dialogue was supposed to be witty and funny but I found them cheesy. Some of the characters drove me insane and I wish she spent more time developing the characters so we could learn more about them and their relationship with each other.

Completely fabulous, utterly funny and I think something parents everywhere will really be able to relate to.

Even as a non parent I could recognise so much realism in the characters, as Katy and Ben, Braindead and Abby, Daniel and Gabriel all go on a joint holiday to Spain. Oh and between them there are two under ones, a two year old and a 6 year old. So a family holiday shared amongst friends.

From the first set of three chapters which catches you up with each of the couples, further on in time than the last book, and sees their preparations the night before this big holiday, and the first time they have taken any of the kids abroad.

To say that Daniel is out of place on a budget airline, let alone package holiday is an understatement. Yet I managed to fall even more in love with Gabriel than before, as his fluent Spanish speaking was incredibly helpful. Abby wanted to spend all her time celebrating with the group of hens they were drinking with on the plane, and seems really not in a great place.

It says a lot to anyone that knows these characters from the rest of the series, that Ben, Kary and Braindead all seemed relatively normal, although Braindead's legendary ability to speak before thinking resulted in some wonderful lines!

We also get to know Cassie, the bride for this hen party who seems rather out of place amongst her friends, and Ollie who was dumped before his wedding, and is on his honeymoon by himself and appears to have been befriended by the boys.

And the children, they are the key to the whole holiday, they were just doing what kids do, but its how the adults are attempting to adjust to parent hood and the fact that a family holiday is possibly more stressful than being at home with the kids that is what makes this book so lifelike and wonderful.

There are hen party antics that will have you rolling your eyes and or rolling around on the floor in laughter - possibly both. I adored getting to see another side to all of these characters.

As this is the fifth book in the series, I felt as though I was alongside old friends. However I do feel that it could work just as well as a standalone, although you would be missing out on 4 equally hilarious books, to not start at the beginning.

A surprisingly quick book to read - I mean I knew I would find it a fast read, but besides 10% in the bath the night before I read the rest between two tube journeys and eating in a restaurant and still had a stop to spare before I was home - I was enjoying it that much that honestly I'm shocked I managed to get where I was going on either of those journeys, as I have no recollection of any of the stations!

Utterly hilarious, completely compelling this is another inspired addition to this already wonderful series. My only question now, is please can we have some more?!

Thank you to Netgalley and Bookouture for this copy which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily.

No-one Ever Has Sex on Holiday by Tracy Bloom is a laugh-out-loud romp that had me in literal stitches from start to finish. This is the perfect read if you are looking for a lighthearted, relatable, and feel-good escape from the everyday. I am delighted to discover the work of Ms Bloom, and am anxious to devour more from this witty and outrageously clever talent. Highly recommended.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Bookouture for this hugely enjoyable ARC.
