Better yet, dinner. My place. "tomorrow night. I’ll have Mary make something special.” Before I can respond, Coach comes around the desk and offers me his hand. When I take it, he yanks me into a back-slapping hug. “It’s settled, then. I’m looking forward to meeting her.” I liked this book, I liked Brody.

LOVED this book!!! This is a wonderful romance that develops between a NFL quarterback and his daughter's nanny - yes, it's a common trope, but it is so well done that I just fell in love with the story and the characters. I found myself invested in their tale and wanting them to get their HEA ending.

Both Brody and Mia are damaged by their pasts, however, while Brody wears his damage openly (of course it being openly discussed on sports shows might have helped), MIa has hidden hers and pretends that it doesn't exist - lying both to herself and others. I found myself engrossed in their lives and didn't want to put the book down.

This is a new author to me and I can't wait to see what she writes next.
