Characters were well developed, but I found it a little too predictable. Also had some grammar errors. Thanks for allowing me to review!

I really wanted to love this book. A single dad raising his daughter while still trying to have a successful career in the NFL falls foe his daughters caretaker.
Foot the most part I was excited to see what was going to happen between Amelia and Broady. They had chemistry from the beginning which lasted throughout the book. Both were hesitate to open their heart.
This would have been a higher rating but there was a time I didn't like Amelia. She knew how vulnerable Brody was and chose to lie to him. From then on I was indifferent about the book.
The ending was cute but these two were so hung up on not having a relationship that it ruined their relationship.

This book is an easy read, and not a bad way to spend a few hours. However, I personally wasn't riveted to the story and probably won't even remember what it was about in a couple of weeks. I had trouble connecting with either of the main characters, and I didn't feel the connection between the two of them either. This is my first book by this author, and I would give another book a try to see if I personally felt more of a connection with the characters/story. Lovers of sports romances may like this one a lot; it was just okay for me.

Quite a standard story. Brody is a single father with an adorable daughter, Lily. Guarded and swearing never to marry again after he discovers his wife had been cheating on him with one of his teammates.
His sister hires Amelia (‘Mia’) as his daughter’s nanny and of course, soon Mia and Lily develop a close relationship so much so that Lily tells Brody one day that she wishes Mia was her mother.
The story is told in alternating 1st person which I didn’t care for. Their voices didn’t seem individual. Quite an OK story overall but nothing spectacular.

I like a good sports romance, so of course I was up for reviewing The Nanny Rules by Melynda Price. The book is a pretty predictable smutty romance book, so if that is your jam, I think you will really enjoy it. I liked it enough, but not enough that it really wowed me. For me it just felt like something was missing from it, but I don't know what it was.

I liked the heroine Amelia, but I found myself a little confused by her. We know right up front that she has a bad past, but it's never really brought up again for awhile until near the end. It causes a lot of what I felt was unnecessary drama between her and Brody.

Brody is definitely a complicated character. I did think he was a good dad, and that was nice to read about. I understood his hesitation to start things with Amelia because he really didn't want to be that "Guy who sleeps with the nanny." He was also still grieving over the loss of his wife and her betrayal. That has to be a really hard thing to go through.

I do think I found an error, but it might be fixed in the final version. At one point, Amelia finds out that Brody's wife had cheated on him, but then she never brings it up with him that she knows. Later, he admits it to her but she reacts as if it was the first time she is hearing it. It was kind of confusing.

I do think I was a little frustrated with their inability to commit to each other, so this made me not like this book as much as I could. It was a little predictable, but sometimes I think that is okay in romance books, especially if you are looking for that.

I really enjoyed this single dad romance. Brody is left more than a little damaged by the end of his marriage. Amelia is a beautiful character and I loved her quiet strength.

This was my first read from this author but I will definitely seek out more. Highly recommend

Thank you Netgalley for the ARC.

There was nothing special about this book. I love me some sports romance but I think it’s been done so many times, that here lately there has not been anything special or new or even creative about them.

This book was just okay. Nothing memorable about it. The story wasn’t anything that I haven’t read before. It was just a quick romance. There was nothing surprising or any wow factors.

The little girl was super precious though.

The story is unbelievable predictable to the point it is laughable.

The story is pretty much what the synopsis tell you without a single surprise. It is boring lacks creativity and where is the author voice or personal touch. This could have been written by any 100 author out there. If the author has a voice she isn't using it to create but to just sell a story. The lack of creativity, typical characters and predictably leaves the reader uninterested.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher Entangled: Brazen for the advance copy of Melynda Price The Nanny Rules

I am almost embarrassed to admit I read this book.

I enjoyed this book even though the plot seemed slow much of the time. The hero, Brody, is a widowed NFL star and the heroine, Amelia, is a nanny who accepted this position to escape her family and past. There isn't much of a surprise with story as Brody and Amelia fall for each other. However, both have major issues and secrets. I adored Brody's daughter, Lily.

Overall, I found this book enjoyable although predictable.

I was given a free ARC via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This book didn't really do it for me however I was really into the author's writing style so I will definitely give her another shot.

I finished this one a couple of days ago, and I know that I thought it was ok but, that's about all I remember. It was a face paced story that didn't pack much of a punch. I knew what I was going to get going into it and it's exactly what I got.

This is a trope I enjoy but one that can only be written so many ways. There wasn't much drama (maybe a little) but there was loads of sexy times. I found the heroine to be a little bit of a push over, and didn't always like the hero. I loved him when he was with his daughter, but outside of those times I had a hard time warming up to him. Although I'm not necessarily a fan of angst, I would have liked to see a little more resistance. These characters have issues and they were resolved a little too quickly for my tastes.

All in all, I enjoyed the book. I think if you like your scenes steamy, and your boys bad *wink wink*, you will enjoy this one.

Since becoming a single father, I have two things that keep me sane my daughter Lily and playing football for the NFL. But when my meddling sister hires a nanny without my knowledge, I’m not thrilled to come home and find the woman has taken over my house. When I started reading I couldn't put it down.Melynda Price is magnifysent and amazing writer.I cannot wait to read more of there books.Keep up the great work. You should definitely read this book. Can't wait for the next book.

It’s okay. It’s easy to read, sweet characters. If you read romance you will have read the storyline before, nothing original to it. But if you fancy a quick sweet read this one fits the bill.

Leading with sexual tension then building it into something more, The Nanny Rules seems like a superficial nanny/single dad romance at first, but slower gets much deeper. The story follows Amelia, a woman who is overqualified to be a nanny, but takes a temporary job acting as an NFL star’s nanny when she needs to leave home for personal reasons. When she meets the newly widowed Brody, attraction crackles between the two immediately. But Amelia thinks Brody is grieving his wife, and Brody knows that his cheating spouse did irreparable damage to his heart. They fight their attraction until it can no longer be ignored, then Amelia slowly tears down the walls around Brody’s heart.

I’ve read many books by Melynda Price, and while this one is not my favorite, it’s still a solid read. As I began reading the book, it seemed pretty shallow and I was surprised because that has never been the case with her books, It took a while, but the story got much deeper and the relationship richer as these two slowly revealed their pasts to one another. Brody is a great guy but a truly broken one, and it took a strong, patient woman like Amelia to put the pieces back together. The writing in the second half of the book is great, and I was really drawn into the richer story there. Thank you, NetGalley, for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I loved Price’s fighter series, so I was excited to read this book and it ultimately did not disappoint. There is definitely potential for more stories in this world, and I look forward to reading them.

As a huge football fan I am always hesitant and excited to read a sports romance with football as the backdrop. I thought Price did a good job incorporating it and also keeping accurate (minus the Browns winning a Super Bowl - that's pure fantasy).

I found the main characters, Amelia and Brody, likeable enough, although some of the decisions Amelia made seemed incongruent with her having a masters in psychology. As with most romances where kids are prevelant to the story, I loved Lily. She was adorable and added to the story.

However, there was nothing to separate The Nanny Rules from the hundreds of other sports romances (and romances in general) out there. Amelia and Brody have baggage that causes issues. Brody doesn't want a relationship but of course Amelia talks him into it and apparently he is incapable of controlling his urges. They fall for each other. Poorly communicate. And then there is a big gesture.

The writing isn't bad though and I really liked both Penner (Brody's teammate) and Julia (Amelia's friend and Brody's sister). I wouldn't mind seeing this be turned into a series with these two as a feature (possibly together?) and a more original plot.

The nanny/parent trope is one of my faves and this one did not disappoint. It did start rather suddenly as there was no introduction of the characters but you do learn their backgrounds as the story progresses. Amelia has just graduated as a child’s psychologist but, because of some family turmoil, has taken a job as a nanny to cute little Lily. Lily’s father, Brody, a widowed NFL player, reluctantly accepts Amelia into his household. Because of a betrayal of his now deceased wife, Brody is now guarded against relationships with women. However, there is no denying the scorching hot attraction between Brody and Amelia. The story that follows is predictable but well told. Great characters, fiery love scenes, engrossing story, I will definitely look for more from this author!

Amelia has a new job as a nanny to Lily. She quickly falls in love with the little girl, and then starts to fall for her father too.
Brody is a single parent, left to bring up his daughter after his wife was killed in a car accident. Finding out his wife was cheating on him has left him unable to trust, and he does not want another long term relationship. Will he give Amelia and chance?

Pretty steamy, the romance is pretty basic, but I’m assuming you don’t read these for the plot. Solid three

My new favorite type of romance is the nanny and dad romance. This one was one of the best I have read in awhile. The story was written very well and the chemistry was hot and I could feel it coming off the pages. The characters were made for eachother.
