This was an enjoyable and well writtend romance between a widower and his nanny. MIa takes care of Brody's daughter while he is at work. He is an nfl player and so she is only working there during the football season. He lost his wife almost a year before in a car accident. Mia is a phychologist graduate who is hired to take care of his daughter and the three form a family.

This isnt really a forbidden romance even though its a nanny/boss type of relationship. Its more about Brody being afraid to love again because his wife destroyed his heart and him feeling that Mia deserves something better than him.

It was a fun romance with some hot scenes and some fun jealousy thrown into the story.

Loved this book. I'm a sucker for forbidden nanny/parent romances.
This one didn't disappoint. Brody and Mia both have bad pasts and come together and form a relationship. I also love Brody as a dad. This was a first read of this author for me and I loved it. Their chemistry is off the charts! Hope to read more from this author.

Who wouldn’t want to be a nanny to a very handsome single dad? Oh, did I mention, he is also a NFL quarterback. Sign me up. Unfortunately, Amelia will have her hands full with helping both, Brody and his daughter Lily, heal from a devastating loss. As the two heal, Brody’s walls come down and opens to a possible future with Amelia, but she is running from a past. A past that resurfaces and both need to learn to trust. Loved reading this book, it was an amazing read of healing and finding that second love.

Brody just has no boundaries, "...and I don’t even try to hide the grin on my face as I hold up her fire-engine– red panties, letting them dangle off my finger. “I think you forgot something.” Brody's coach knows how to strong arm him, “Bring her to the charity auction. Better yet, dinner. My place. "tomorrow night. I’ll have Mary make something special.” Before I can respond, Coach comes around the desk and offers me his hand. When I take it, he yanks me into a back-slapping hug. “It’s settled, then. I’m looking forward to meeting her.” I liked this book, I liked Brody.

LOVED this book!!! This is a wonderful romance that develops between a NFL quarterback and his daughter's nanny - yes, it's a common trope, but it is so well done that I just fell in love with the story and the characters. I found myself invested in their tale and wanting them to get their HEA ending.

Both Brody and Mia are damaged by their pasts, however, while Brody wears his damage openly (of course it being openly discussed on sports shows might have helped), MIa has hidden hers and pretends that it doesn't exist - lying both to herself and others. I found myself engrossed in their lives and didn't want to put the book down.

This is a new author to me and I can't wait to see what she writes next.
