Evie is on a mission to save her year-round christmas shop from Caine a developer who wants to tear down her shop. Then comes up with a creative deal to maybe get this Grinch to change his mind by getting him to take on a the challenges of fulfilling three tree angels wishes. Caine will take on her challenge figuring its nothing a little cash can't fix when it becomes so much deeper then that. Now he seems to be getting deeper into this community and Evies life when he's got a deadline to stick to.

If you are looking for the christmas spirit your defiantly going to find it here. I enjoyed getting to know the characters. I thought it was interesting seeing Caine slowly but surly able to redeem himself because he truly was a jerk in the beginning and as he took on Evies challenge he was able to do more and open more and it was interesting seeing him change and better over the course of the book. Then there was the romance that would only get complicated when a clear end needs to happen, either she keeps her shop and he looses everything or shes looses her shop and hes seen as the town jerk ruining stuff. There is plenty going on to keep the readers interested, with the romance, family drama, secrets and plenty more. I really enjoyed myself reading this and think you readers will enjoy it too.

As always I enjoyed Debbie Mason's latest book in her Harmony Harbor series. I like the strong characters that she has in her books and I love the Christmas theme. My favourite stores are Christmas stores and I love that this book is based around Evangeline's Christmas Shop. I like that she is the gutsy store owner desparately trying to make a go of the store when the big bad corporate guy comes in. Like Hallmark movies, you know what is going to happy but it is such an enjoyable ride getting there. I love the old grandma ghost and the cat and how they work together to save their family's place. Every book in this series has delighted me and this one is no different. A lovely happy ever after Christmas story for all to enjoy.

Christmas in Harmony Harbor by Debbie Mason is a great holiday read. This book stands alone, despite being part of a series.

I loved the opening chapter of this book. A shop keeper scared of the dark who needs to go down into her creepy, century home’s unfinished basement to check the fuse box and get her electricity back up and running in time for Black Friday customers to come into her Christmas Shop. Rather than fix the problem, she waits it out until she can be rescued by someone, and opts to light candles around the shop instead.
It sounds like something I would do.
Then I got to the second chapter and just stopped reading. Ghosts and matchmaking are just not my thing. I’m sure if it wasn’t for the ghost aspect, I would have kept reading.
Ms. Mason is a talented author who can pull a reader in within the first few pages. Her vivid descriptions of Harmony Harbor help the reader envision the place almost as if it were home. The characters, at least in the first chapter, are relatable and I think I would have enjoyed following their journey.
I just can’t get past the ghost.
But if you’re a reader who enjoys some paranormal with their romance and Christmas reads, you’ll likely not be disappointed with Christmas in Harmony Harbor.
I received an ecopy from the publisher through NetGalley. All opinions expressed are my own.

Christmas in Harmony Harbor by Debbie Mason is a wonderfully positive and hopeful Christmas novel. In Harmony Harbor, once again the Gallaghers are under siege by Emily Elliot via her grandson, Caine Elliot. Caine has come to Harmony Harbor to close down Holiday House and then to take over the Galagher’s Mansion. A few things stand in his way, like Evangeline Christmas and three holiday wishes to resolve. Then there is the pressure from his grandmother and cousin.

The story is well written and thoughtful. The novel is the ninth book in the series called Harmony Harbor. It can be read as a stand alone and as a wonderful Christmas story. Christmas is a wonderful time of the year for the setting. It is going to take the town to help save both Caine and the Gallagher Family. Christmas in Harmony Harbor by Debbie Mason is a fun read.

Christmas seasonal romance with attitude

This Christmas seasonal romance has a bit of an attitude. There are villains and good guys, but they switch sides. There are ghosts with a past. And such a sweet setting. This would be a bit hard to read without some history of the series, but you should go for it.

Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for the loan of an e-ARC. This review is optional and my own opinion.

Sweetly thrilling holiday romance filled with interesting charters, witty banter, exciting emotional twists and just the right tug on the heart strings..... was a excellent read from beginning to end. Loved every heart racing moment and heart warming turn of events.

What a fun conclusion to this wonderful series! This story of Caine and Evie is another fun, banter-filled, mystery, backstabbing, ghostly, Christmas time read!

I have enjoyed all of the books in this Harmony Harbor series…but this one may possibly be my favorite (I may or may not really love seasonal stories). Author Debbie Mason has wrapped up this series perfectly! Full-filling angel wishes, and keeping Evie safe from threats, surrounds this well-flowing storyline. The characters, storyline, love stories, setting, descriptions of everything are so heartwarming and enjoyable! I would absolutely recommend reading this Christmas story, and even though you don’t necessarily need to read the rest of the series, it does help you to understand more about this particular book and I feel you would enjoy it more. 5 Christmas tree-topping stars!

Christmas in Harmony Harbor by Debbie Mason is the 9th and last book in the Harmony Harbor Series. Even though this is the 9th book in the series it can very well be read as a standalone. Ms. Mason wrote a wonderful story which drew me in, making me forget the world around me and did not let me go until I turned the last page. There are some twist and turns that will keep you turning the pages as quick as you can. I highly recommend this book to other romance readers. This is a wonderful story that I thoroughly enjoyed. The story was well written and moved at a great pace, the characters are delightful and are well defined and likable. Ms. Mason wraps up this series up very nicely, but I would not be surprised if we see more at a later time. If you enjoy enemies to lovers stories this one is for you. I highly recommend Christmas in Harmony Harbor and the entire Harmony Harbor series.

CHRISTMAS IN HARMONY HARBOR brings us back to one of my favorite series, Harmony Harbor. A coastal town full of quirky residents, loving families, and usually most people will “have your back” except for those few who value power over anything else – every town has them and Harmony Harbor is no exception. While I’ve learned to never say “final” to any series, indications are that this story will wrap up this series. And it does that quite nicely, of course, I have questions but for the most part, I was completely satisfied with how most of those “loose threads” were tied off.

Evie and Caine’s journey from enemies to a truly in love ending was magical to follow. There were twists, a few things I wasn’t expecting, definitely drama, but at the core are two wounded people discovering that together they simply fit, they work, and that is worth the fight to hold on to each other no matter what is tossed their way. It would be very easy to get caught up and tell you more than I should – so I’m simply going to say that I loved CHRISTMAS IN HARMONY HARBOR, it touched my heart, made me smile, got me angry, and gave me a Christmas to remember. If this is the final story then I’ll be sad to see old friends go – but knowing that I can always do a re-read of a series I’ve enjoyed eases that sadness.

If you love interesting characters, a bit of drama, enemies to lovers, and watching Christmas magic soften one man’s heart then you’ll want to pick up this story right now. Although I’ll always recommend reading a series in order – you could enjoy this one on its own with little confusion about who is who or why- what you’d need to know is mentioned. I hope you’ll step into Harmony Harbor, I believe you’ll love not only this story but the entire series.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

“Christmas in Harmony Harbor” is the ninth book in Debbie Mason’s Harmony Harbor series, another heartwarming story not to be missed. Evangeline “Evie” Christmas owns Holiday House, a store in jeopardy of being torn down and replaced by a tall office tower. Billionaire real estate developer, Caine Elliot, is the man trying to force Evie to sell. Instead of relaxing and enjoying Christmas, her favorite holiday, Evie is desperately trying to figure out how to save her shop. She believes she has come up with a plan and makes a deal with Caine, challenging him to grant three wishes from the Angel Tree in her store. How hard can it be to grant three wishes? The deadline is Christmas Eve when they find out if Caine succeeds in forcing Evie out of her beloved store and home; or if Evie succeeds and shows Caine the true meaning of love during the holidays. Even though this is the ninth book in a series, it can be enjoyed as a stand-alone read. I highly recommend Debbie Mason’s “Christmas in Harmony Harbor”. It will put everyone in the spirit of Christmas, all year round!

Wonderful holiday romance that has entertaining characters as well as intrigue and suspense. Evie Christmas is trying to save her shop/home but is struggling. Caine is the CEO of the company trying to tear down Evie’s Christmas shop. The story has some interesting twists and turns. The residents of Harmony Harbor are active as a community and family. Caine definitely isn’t use to the people trying to stop him from building a huge tower in their quaint little town. I received a complementary copy of this book via Net Galley and chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by Ms. Mason.

I have really enjoyed this series and I am sad that this is the final book, but Debbie Mason did a fantastic job of closing out the series and answering all the reader's questions. As I was reading the end of the book I could not help but smile as everything came together full circle and the Gallagher clan was stronger than ever. I was surprised and delighted to find out about Simon. I am so glad that Colleen finally gets to rest.

I have really enjoyed the characters in this book and their trials and tribulations and how Caine learned money is not everything but love is. I also liked how part of the book took Caine through being Scrooge in A Christmas Carol and had him having to pick three angels off the tree for Christmas past, present and future. I think Colleen can be really proud of her family and Greystone Manor in the years to come.

I really liked the characters of Evie and Caine. It was fun to watch them fall in love even though they started out as enemies. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

Evangeline has always loved Christmas, it has always been her favorite time of year but this upcoming holiday season isn't like the others. She has been fighting a developer in hopes of saving her Christmas store and things are looking bleak. When it looks like all is lost she comes up with an idea that she hopes will save her business. She makes a bet with Caine, the developer trying to take her store and her livelihood away from her. All he has to do is Grant three wishes and she will step aside but if he looses he has to leave her shop alone. Cause thinks all will be easy and that throwing some money around will fix everything but he soon learns that money isn't the answer for everything. Along the way Evie and Caine are drawn to each other neither knowing how to handle the feelings sprouting up around them. They both feel so much but don't know if letting go is the answer or if they should just push it all aside. Follow the story as love blossoms and does its best to find a way. This story will touch you emotionally having you crying one.minute and laughing the next. I love this series and am sad to see it end but look forward to seeing what new characters the author breathes life into next.

This is the second book I've read in Debbie Mason's "Harmony Harbor" series. I guess there are nine books in the series, so I'm sure I'll be purchasing the other ones to read!

This book, like all the books in the series, is set in a small coastal town in Massachusetts. In the two books I've read, Mason does such a wonderful job of describing the town, it makes me yearn to visit the town, especially since it sounds positively enchanting during the holiday season!

This story is about a woman--Evangeline (Evie) Christmas whose family has owned a holiday gift shop in the town for many years. A wealthy businessman and property developer -- Caine Elliott -- wants the property where the shop is located, so he can build the headquarters for his international company. Evie uses all her resources and creativity to preserve not only her shop, but the small town charm of Harmony Harbor and its many unique shops, which may be destroyed if Caine Elliott gets his way.

She makes a bet with Caine--if he fulfills three wishes from her shop's "Angel Tree," she would consider allowing him to buy her property and close the shop. Of course, she doesn't plan to lose the bet, and finds three wishes that would be very hard for Caine to fulfill, while helping him better understand the need to maintain the small town/community feel. At the same time, the wishes teach Caine more about himself too.

But she doesn't predict that while he is fulfilling the wishes, she learns more about who Caine Elliott really is, and begins to fall in love with the man who is trying to ruin her business and Harmony Harbor's small town character.

There are some wonderful twists and turns that will keep you turning the pages of this story. It's especially surprising when you learn that Caine and his grandmother have an unexpected connection to the owners of a local mansion/hotel. And that vengeance over a past injustice is driving his grandmother to destroy the hotel and the town, with Caine torn between his loyalty to his grandmother who raised him, and his conscience telling him to do what is right by the people of Harmony Harbor.

Yes, you should read this book!!

I have so many feelings about this book that I'm afraid I won't do this review justice. I know that sounds kinda crazy but that's how I feel. I started writing this review in my head and I have to tell you, it was good! Unfortunately, I never remember totally what I was thinking so you're stuck with what I do remember wanting to say.

If you follow Debbie Mason than you know that Christmas in Harmony Harbor is the last book in that series. With Mason, you can't really say it's over because she sometimes likes to throw a novella into the series at a later time. Wishful thinking!

For those of us who have been reading this series, we've been waiting for this book. We all knew that everything was going to come to a head and all would be revealed. I've been both waitings for this and dreading it. I love this series and hate that it's ending.

Of course, she's starting a new one so I'm pretty happy about that.

But for now, let's deal with Christmas in Harmony Harbor. I think that so much happens in this book that your mind is going to explode. The good thing is that the author handles it all well and keeps the story moving at a great pace.

I totally love Caine. I feel so bad for him and all he has gone through. I'm surprised he hasn't made himself sick with all the conflict. He truly is a good guy who really wants to make those he loves happy. The funny part is when you fall under the umbrella of those he cares for he tries to move heaven and earth for you.

I also like Evie. I think she worked really hard to keep a family memory alive that meant something to her. She has her own family issues that aren't always the best.

Because I could go on and on about this book I'm going to try my best to start ending this review. Feel free to post to my Facebook page after I share this review if you want to talk more. I try never to give out spoilers in reviews.

As a whole, this is a wonderful story that I really enjoyed. I totally loved Caine's uncle and thought he was so sweet. There are things at the end that I was totally unhappy about and I also felt it was slightly rushed but that could have been men because I wasn't ready for the story to end. You'll have to judge the ending on your own.

I was also happy that our family ghost got her happy-ever-after. You'll love how she does. I'm so glad that I invested the time in this wonderful series and I'm going to miss them all. Do yourself a favor and pick up the series and get reading. You'll be happy! This is perfect for small-town readers.

Goodbye Harmony Harbor, you will be missed!

4.5 Stars
Every time I read a new book from Debbie Mason and sit down to write the review for it, I can't help but wonder what people must think about my reviews when I continuously talk about how much I dislike her heroes or their behaviors for a majority of every book then proceed to rate them 4 & 5 Stars. Today's review will not be much different. Lol.

I really, really disliked Caine Elliot for more than half of this book and most of the last book. He was, quite frankly, a big old jerk and so focused on money and pleasing his grandmother that he was simply not a nice person. Knowing that I always end up loving Debbie's heroes, I was hopeful but I was pretty worried this time around. There was a point in the book where, even when we started to see the sweet, caring side of Caine, that I still didn't like the way he was helping Evie be aggressive and confident in herself. However, after all was said and done...shocker...I am fully and completely in love with Caine Elliot and everything he did for Evie and the Gallagher family.

Now that we've gotten past my familiar ranting I need to discuss the rest of this book. I'm feeling both extremely satisfied and extremely sad because this is the end of this series. I'm so sad to see it all come to and end but I cannot describe how much I love how everything wrapped up. My favorite thing about this series is how, with each new book, a new piece of the puzzle that is the Gallagher family/manor mystery was revealed. At times, it was hard to keep up with all of the characters and how they fit in but seeing so many questions answered with the actual in person visit from Emily and knowing her true motivations for all of the trouble she gave the Gallaghers was perfection. It's hard to feel sorry for her after knowing everything she put, not only them, but her own grandson through and I can't say that I'm sad to see how she got her comeuppance.

For all the grief I give Debbie Mason and her characters, she writes the most amazing stories that suck me in every time!! Her world-building goes above and beyond and clearly she's an expert at character development. I cannot wait to see what comes next!!

Christmas based stories hold a special place in the heart. Christmas in Harmony Harbor is no exception. I loved the characters and their imperfections that make them more real. This is my first Harmony Harbor novel, and though I didn't know the back stories of the secondary characters, I felt comfortable with them. There are a lot of twists and turns in the story line to keep the reader entertained and invested all the way to the end. I highly recommend this novel and thank Forever (Grand Central Publishing) and Netgalley for the ARC.
