Join Jack Reacher on another adventure, to where? Reacher is minding his own business, allowing the bus to sweep him away. But as he watches, an elderly man is robbed right there on the sidewalk. What seems to be a simple robbery turns into one mystery after another. Soon, much bigger players have a stake in this game than Reacher thought possible. If you enjoy a story that twists and turns, this one won't fail you!

I needed a good escapist read, and Jack Reacher never fails. Good storyline with the inevitable underdog being rescued while the bad guys get their well deserved Rewards. An easy read, but one that was hard to put down because it’s combining old fashioned mob crime with highly digital crime of the 21st century. A few twists and turns will keep you guessing and have you smiling at the same time. Highly recommended for some fun summer reading.

Maybe Jack Reacher has reached the end for me but this latest installment of the Lee Child’s series could not keep my interest. It was just alright.

Blue Moon by Lee Child is a great adventure. It's action packed with no clues about what's coming next.

Another of the continuing adventures of Jack Reacher. I’m beginning to notice the predictability of these novels. And someone pointed out that Reacher’s method of getting around on commercial busses, wouldn’t let him get off in smaller towns, as they no longer stop there. Nor are there now as many small, run-down, not-completely-legally-compliant hotels as there were 20 years ago. Reacher is still interesting, but the world he moves in is sometimes jarringly different from reality.

Kind of a step back after the previous two books in this series, this is still everything you want from a Jack Reacher novel. It just isn't quite as ingenious or inspired.

This was probably one of my least favorite titles in this series. Disjointed, boring, and just not entertaining. It is probably good that his brother is starting to write them.

A typical Jack Reacher story as a hero with heroic, non stoppable wins, not necessarily the easy way.

Once you start this book it will be hard to put down. It’s kind of like Girl on the Train in that a murder is unsolved and the twists and turns of the search for the murderer lead you in strange and different paths. Flynn Berry received the Edgar Award for Best First Novel and it is well deserved. Berry has a very creative mind in her story development.

I didn't care for this Reacher book. The story seemed implausible and the violence particularly gratuitous, even for him.

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for an eARC of this book.
The Jack Reacher books always have a satisfying ending. They are well written with plots that flow, lots of action and interesting characters. I always leave these books happy with the story. So I tend to forget how much violence and bloody attacks occur in order to get there. Really too violent for my tastes but still a great story that ends well.

Jack Reacher just can't not be involved. This time the simple act of helping a senior citizen pits him against the turf fighting Albanians and Ukrainians as they seek to take over and rule the town. An elderly couple visit a loan shark and soon Reacher tries to help them and finds himself the target of both power seeking groups.

I wasn't feeling this Jack Reacher novel, definitely not a favorite from this series. It felt different and dragged out. Not the same Jack Reacher from earlier books.

Blue Moon #24 in the Jack Reacher series by Lee Child
I don't think I'll ever get tired of reading about Jack Reacher! I look forward to reading them every time a new one comes out!
In this novel, Reacher is again riding a bus to somewhere when he helps an elderly man from being mugged. From there, the plot blows up into a gang war between the Ukrainians and Albanians but it's really just Reacher being Reacher. I love the action and the witty remarks that flow from Reacher. He'll always be a hero who fixes a problem the only way he knows how: with his fists.

This was my first Jack Reacher story and it didn’t disappoint. I went in knowing what type of read this would be and it was exactly that. There was a lot of suspension of disbelief. Jack Reacher is just a little all too knowing. He predicts all kinds of scenarios and is almost always correct. The story begins with Jack randomly rescuing an older man from a robbery and turns into a struggle against several organized crime syndicates. Along the way random people seem to just drop everything, even abandoning their jobs, residences and cars to help him. It was a little far-fetched. The most unbelievable character was Abby the waitress who turned into Jack Reacher’s action figure partner. There were some instances where the dialogue had me shaking my head but overall, I liked it. It was what it purported to be, an action packed thriller with mostly good fighting evil. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for giving me an ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review. All opinions expressed are my own.

Lee Child has done it again with his Jack Reacher series! This new story takes Reacher to the aid of an elderly couple caught up in a turf war. The images that Lee Child creates keeps the reader wanting more until the final end. This is another solid story in the Reacher series that is sure to keep readers who are interested in suspense and thrillers with a little of Reacher's or maybe Lee Child's humor.

Suggested for readers who like adventure, humor and a hero.

This reader can always be excited by a new Jack Reacher book. Lee Child has been able to keep the series fresh, the plots interesting and , of course, there is Jack Reacher!! Blue Moon pulls Reacher into a gang war between the Albanians and Ukranians set off by a loan shark taking advantage of a sick, old man. But, as always, Reacher is there for the rescue. Although this is a rather bloody installment, the reader cannot help but be enthralled by the action and the clear moral path by everyones' favorite vigilante.

Classic Jack Reacher story. Perhaps not one of the best in the series, but perfect for fans of this “Superman” and his exploits.

Another great book by Lee Child. His character Jack Reacher continues to be smart, more mature, is a great character, and a really smart guy. The story revolves around election hacking, Russian interference in various elections, crooks, Eastern European gangs which pretty much covers a lot of what we see in the news media today. Good plot which constantly amazes me on how he continues to develop tremendous stories.
