As I've learned to expect, a beautifully written and fun read. Crouch writes wonderfully believable stories with flawed but truly good heroes and heroines

This is the second story in a series but works well as a standalone, too. Computer coding and hacker geek, Bree Daniels, is getting married to Deputy Tanner Dempsey in a couple of weeks and everyone is determined to help make this the wedding everyone will remember – though the pressure is getting to Bree who is more reticent and is definitely not looking forward to saying her vows in front of about 500 folk. However, there’s danger on the way for this couple, deadly danger which starts with a fire at the women’s centre, New Journeys. They suspect one of the shelter’s families is being targetted but proving it and protecting them from her abusive ex and his friends is going to prove difficult – and could stop the wedding!

This is a fast paced, suspense filled romance where you’re never sure what will happen next. The characters are great and you really have to feel for Bree as she struggles to compose her vows and is dreading the big day’s audience. The community is brilliant, especially how they come together to help and protect their own. Tanner and his brother, Noah, are superb heroes and I really hope Noah and Marilyn get together properly in a future book in this series – and her children are delightful, too!

I have no hesitation in highly recommending this to anyone who enjoys reading edge of your seat romantic suspense! Many thanks to the publishers for gifting me a copy of this book (via NetGalley) which I have chosen to read and this is my honest review after doing so.

I didn't know this was a series and hadn't read the previous books so I was a tad lost in this one but it was still an enjoyable read. I loved the two main characters and how much they loved each other. Love the ending as well! Perhaps I;ll go back and read the others now....

USA Today best-selling author Janie Crouch expertly blends romance, action, passion and suspense in her latest novel for Harlequin Intrigue, Risk Everything.

For the first time in ages, Bree Daniels is truly happy. Sure, she cannot help finding shopping for her wedding dress exasperating thanks due to her demanding friends, but she is about to marry the man of her dreams, Deputy Tanner Dempsey and she simply couldn’t be happier. Bree cannot wait to walk down the aisle and spend the rest of her life with Tanner. After years spent constantly looking over her shoulder, Bree has found somewhere she belongs and a man whom she loves with all of her heart. However, when a fire breaks out at the women’s shelter she runs, could her future with Tanner be in danger?

Tanner is on high alert and he is determined to do whatever it takes to keep Bree and the women living in her shelter safe. As Bree and Tanner begin investigating, they quickly realise that one of the shelter’s clients is being targeted by a dangerous enemy who will stop at nothing to cause complete and utter destruction. With risk and jeopardy round every corner, can Bree and Tanner unravel a menacing plot of vengeance and revenge and save not just the refuge, but also their future?

Will Bree and Tanner ever make it down the aisle? Or is a future simply not on the cards for the two of them?

Janie Crouch’s Risk Everything is a captivating tale packed with twists and turns, red-hot passion and nail-biting suspense that will keep you on the edge of your seat and turning the pages late into the night. Bree and Tanner are fabulous characters who are so wonderfully drawn that it is impossible not to care about them and you will be rooting for them and willing them on to get the ending they so richly deserve.

A fantastic read you will struggle to put down, Risk Everything is another excellent romantic suspense novel by Janie Crouch!

Who are Tanner and Bree? What about Noah, Marilyn, Sam, Eva, Jared, and Cassandra? How do they meet or know one another? What and where is Risk Peak? What is New Journeys? I love Noah and Tanner!!! What happens at New Journeys one night when Bree cannot sleep and she goes back to the office? Oh my, that did not end anything like I was expecting it to! Watch out for the suspense and thrills that are thrown into this story!

3.75 stars--RISK EVERYTHING is the fourth instalment in Janie Crouch’s contemporary, adult BREE AND TANNER THRILLER romantic, suspense series focusing on Bree Daniels and Deputy Tanner Dempsey. RISK EVERYTHING can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Bree and Tanner) RISK EVERYTHING focuses on the weeks before Bree Daniels and Deputy Tanner Dempsey wedding. Hoping against hope to elope, Bree finds herself the center of attention, attention she would rather place on someone else. As the big day approaches one of the women (Marilyn) at Bree’s New Journeys’ women’s shelter discovers that her soon to be ex has been released on bail, and a suspicious fire at the shelter points to the possibility that Marilyn and her children’s whereabouts have been found. Keeping a promise to Marilyn’s children (Eva and Sam), Bree and Tanner, along with Tanner’s brother Noah, escort the mother and her children for a few days of camping, camping that places everyone in the direct line of fire. With the children’s safety a primary concern, our leading couple, find themselves the target of some very dangerous men.

RISK EVERYTHING is a story of vengeance and betrayal; of power and control; of love, loss and happily ever after. Janie Crouch pulls the reader into a fast paced, suspense filled tale of one man’s need for retribution as Bree and Tanner try desperately to keep everyone safe. The premise is engaging; the characters are colorful and charismatic; the romance continues towards a happily ever after. My only concern is the questionable decision to move forward with a camping trip when threats to everyone’s lives are still in place-a little bit TSTL.

This book is apparently apart of a series but I wanted to dive in anyways. So far I've read the first and fourth book I guess I have more reasons to check out what goes on in the previous two books because I loved how this book ended. I couldn't help but while reading this book get a feeling of Deja Vu and just didn't get it until I stopped reading to see if I did indeed read the first book. Point is, while it is a series it can be read as a stand alone but its wayyy better when you read them in order then you'll get whats going on with certain points that are mentioned.

That aside this was a great mystery suspense novel. Not much I can say without spoiling the series because this is the ending of one, and not much I can give away that isn't already in the description of this book. But I will say that this book is a pretty great mystery suspense novel. Bree and Tanner are finally getting married and the time between when this book starts and the wedding day is swiftly getting closer. There are plenty of things to think about and of course a mystery is thrown into keep things complicated yet interesting. High stakes, risking their lives to keep those around them safe. This was a pretty great book I really enjoyed it.

What an amazingly explosive, intense, emotional, fierce and severe ending to the enchanting series that has captured my mind over the summer.
Staring this new type of serial novel series from Intrigue where the same couple faces different kinds of danger and suspense on their way to their happily ever after over the four books - I knew two things:
One: I am not a fan of serial novels
Two: I would read anything Janie Crouch writes. And she certainly didn't disappoint.

The journey with Bree and Tanner has been filled with edgy situations, deep emotions, awkward moments, tears, fear, laughter, and swooning sighs. From their meet-cute to the end, Bree and Tanner have had my full attention while their captured my heart. I can not say enough about them, you have to experience the magic, the undeniable connection that is Bree and Tanner, yourself.
The thrilling action has been fierce, and especially in this last installment, Risk Everything, where they are not only against seasoned cruel criminal minds but against the unpredictability of wilderness - one of my favorite type of suspense - I literally read the book through at one sitting, without even realizing it, cause the enchantingly unputdownable tale!

I loved how the author shined a light to the very sensitive and tough issue of domestic violence, with the utter respect towards the survivors. Noah, Dan, Cheryl and the whole secondary gang of characters were drawn with deep characteristics, they were people I grew to love and care for as well. And when the crumpy, antisocial but generous old man Henrikson comes and saves the day - I was enamored!

I have truly enjoyed the RISK series and the danger and peril filled journey of Bree and Tanner. I will miss them, but thankfully these books are definite re-read material, and perfect for binge-reading! All the four books are out now, so for those who do not like the wait in between installments of serial novels, you can now just read them all at once!
A fabulous, smashing ending to the thrilling, killer series

I've been reading Harlequin Intrigues since I was 13 and love that even after 31 years, I still find enjoyment in them just as much as I did back then. I love that I can sit down with one and finish it in a few hours, and not feel guilty about abandoning my mom duties.

Risk Everything by Janie Crouch did not disappoint. I finished it in a few hours and absolutely loved everything about Bree & Tanner. Normally, I don't start a series on the fourth book, but I didn't know this was a series until I started it. I'm still glad I read it because it definitely can be read a stand-alone but it also made me want to go back and get the first three books. That is the indication for a five-star rating to me.

Bree and Tanner are about to get married and their lives are busy. Tanner is a deputy and Bree is a computer hacker/programmer who runs a women's shelter with Tanner's sister. The cast of characters in this story are wonderful, eccentric, loving, and broken. I loved Marilyn and her kids so much I just wanted to hug them and protect them from all the evil in the world, especially her ex-husband. Janie knows how to write a villain and she did it to perfection with Jerod Ellis. The twists and turns in this story as Bree and Tanner try to keep Marilyn and the kids safe made for tense reading, but the love Bree and Tanner have for each other kept the feeling of loving protection on every page. I was especially impressed with the wilderness scenes for their vividness and accuracy. The wedding planning offered a lot of levity in the story and anyone who has ever planned a wedding will relate!

Risk Everything was a page-turner from the first to the very last page. I was sad to find out this was the last book in the series because I'm DYING to read Marilyn and Noah's story. He was so sweet and loving with her that I know Janie could write a comeback story for Marilyn that would make all of us swoon. I am definitely going to finish the Risk series and hopefully, Janie will continue to write great intrigue like this one for years to come. Make sure to pick this one up, you won't be disappointed!

Terrific book and conclusion to the Bree and Tanner series, and another one that kept me up well past bedtime to finish it. After a year together, Bree's wedding to Tanner is only two weeks away. The book opens as Bree is spazzing over wedding preparations. All she wants is to be married to Tanner, but the wedding has taken on a life of its own thanks to her friends. Looking back over the year, Bree sees the progress she has made toward becoming more "normal," but there are days she wants to hide away. Meanwhile, Tanner is beyond ready for the wedding and to show the world how much he loves her. I've loved seeing the development of their relationship, from wariness and distrust to incredible teamwork and belief in each other. That teamwork is called upon yet again as they face off against a dangerous opponent.

Bree is at the women's shelter late one night when a suspicious fire breaks out. She and Tanner are confident that one of the residents, Marilyn, is the target of the attack. The uncertainty is intense as they and others attempt to find the truth and stop the attacks. The frustration is evident as everything points to Marilyn's abusive husband, but nothing can be proved. Hoping to give Marilyn, her kids, and two other residents a pleasant break, Bree, Tanner, and his brother Noah, head for the woods for a camping trip. When the group is attacked and becomes separated, it's up to Bree and Tanner to protect the kids until help arrives. The suspense is intense as Bree and Tanner race to stay ahead of their pursuers. I was on the edge of my seat as the hours passed and the players shifted, leaving Bree and Tanner to play decoy. The tension continues to build even after arriving home, with a feeling of impending trouble. The final confrontation was a nail-biter that had me glued to the pages until it was all over. I loved the strength and courage that both Bree and Marilyn showed as they took control of their fates.

I loved the ending. It was so emotional to see the town pull together to make sure that the wedding happened just the way Bree and Tanner wanted it. I especially loved what the women did for Bree that made the wedding so much more special for her. And after all of Bree's angst over writing the perfect vows, she came up with the perfect lines. Tanner's were great, but Bree's were quintessential Bree. I also enjoyed the conversation that Tanner had with his brother Noah about Marilyn. I hope to see more of them in the future. There were also a few cross-series mentions of both Linear Tactical and Omega Sector books, which always makes me happy.

Bree and Tanner are finally getting married...you know, if they can survive until the wedding!! They will Risk Everything to ensure they say "I Do".

The focus in this story is not just on the wedding plans (which Bree hates because she is so anti-social), but also on the women's shelter, New Journeys, and the troubles happening there. When Bree nearly dies, Tanner tries to figure out who would have wanted to set fire to the shelter, but not kill anyone. With a house full of abused women, there are no shortage of skeezy ex's as suspects. Bree and Tanner have to figure out who has the motive, the means, and the opportunity-because it seems their suspect doesn't have the opportunity. Because this is book four focused on Bree and Tanner, you really do feel their love for one another. I didn't realize how invested I was in seeing them go through the various stages of their relationship since I usually only read stories that focus on one couple for one book. Bree and Tanner have 4 stories, but they are together in all of them, so you really see an organically budding relationship.

I also enjoyed seeing more of Noah! He is starting to get feelings for Marilyn-a single mom who has a very disturbed husband. Noah has been dealing with his own struggles and it was great to see him step back into the world.

If you enjoy a mystery, some tech genius stuff, a cop with a heart of gold, and a small town full of wonderful people, you will enjoy the entire Bree and Tanner series, and Risk everything is the icing on the (wedding) cake!

I feel slightly bereft that we’ve come to the end of this series. And what an end it is. I’m at a total loss for words. The sweet silliness at the beginning of the story sucked me in and before I knew it, I was up to my eyebrows in intrigue, betrayal, and life-threatening action. Once again, Bree and Tanner show us why they’re perfect together. Their strengths dovetail to support each other’s weaknesses and in the heat of the moment they’re capable of reacting as if they shared a single mind. The closing scenes are utterly precious and I was left desperately blinking back tears before I turned into an ugly-crying mess. I hate saying goodbye to Bree and Tanner. I hope we get to come back and visit again sometime in the future.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author through NetGalley.

Risk Everything by Janie Crouch is the 4th book in the Bree and Tanner series. This series needs to be read in order. You could read them as standalones but you would miss a whole lot. Bree originally met Tanner when she was running for her life with her niece and nephew. Bree and Tanner have since then had to battle for their lives on several occasions. This time the fight they were fighting actually wasn't their own. You will love this couple. They were meant for each other.

Make sure you read and catch up with this series before yous start book 4 or readers will be confused. This is part of a series and is not stand alone book.

After book one with Bree and Tanner readers will be hooked to the sweet, strong and crazy like that Bree had though. She gives readers someone to cheer for as she struggles to find her place while protecting those she cares for including Tanner. Tanner will do anything for Bree will have readers sighing.

The story picks up where the last in the series left off keeping the story moving forward with the hope of a wedding at the end of the story.

Everything readers have read by this author they know this story will be a great mystery with twist and turn, romance and mystery that keeps everyone on their toes.

Thank you to Netgalley, the publisher and the author for the advance copy of Janie Crouch Risk Everything.

It’s been a wild courtship for Bree and Tanner, but things seem to have settled down and their wedding day is drawing near. Bree is in a tizzy over the dress and writing her vows, but she’s determined to show Tanner just how far she’s come since their first meeting. Tanner is ready to claim Bree as his wife and show the world how much she means to him. However, when a fire breaks out at the women’s shelter Bree works at, Tanner and Bree once again find themselves in another dangerous situation...hopefully their last.

Bree has come so far since the first book. She’s more outgoing, confident, and still has her practical smarts to keep Tanner intrigued. I love how Tanner and Bree’s relationship developed into one of teamwork and trust, but even I was surprised-and highly entertained-by Bree’s reluctance in making wedding decisions!

From start to finish, each book in this series has been an adrenaline rush of action and suspense and a solid romance in calmer moments! Crouch has done a great job with this series, but I’m not ready to say goodbye! I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a story about Noah, Marilyn, and her kids...or even Cassandra;)

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from Harlequin and Netgalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I will review on Amazon Sept 17, 2019

I received this ARC from NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Risk Everything is the 4th book in the series, as with the previous books this book was awesome. I have loved watching Bree and Tanner as they build a relationship. Bree has blossomed in the books from a girl so scared of her own shadow that she rarely leaves her home. Through the trials she has endured she met Tanner and the true Bree has emerged. A strong woman, that can face whatever she is faced with. This is a action packed book, full of twists and turns. I would definitely recommend this book and series to others.
