Was kinda disappointed in this novel. I really wanted to like this based on the blurb. It fell just short of keeping my attention and took me weeks to finally just give up on finishing it.

Sadly, this book didn’t do much for me. I failed to get invested in the characters and their relationships. The use of words like “girl” really bothered me. The plot was all over the place and the book seems too slow but rushed otherwise. I DNF’d it so many times but I wanted to keep giving it a chance. But to no avail. It failed to pull me in. I will read the second book just cause I got a review copy otherwise I really am not interested. Sorry!

Great read. The author wrote a story that was interesting and moved at a pace that kept me engaged. The characters were easy to invest in.
