What an emotional and heart-wrenching read. I've read a few by Emma Davies before but this was certainly my fave. I felt like I was right there with the characters, as the descriptions were just so clear. The characters were relatable, and the setting sounded idyllic.

A lovely read.

I simply couldn't put this book down. the air of mystery around Amos kept me going to the very end. I hadn't expected that. The descriptions of the flower fields, the general area were marvelous - I'm not sure but I think I could small the flowers. I even learned more about bees! It's always a plus when you can learn something while not intending to. A very satisfying book. i would highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a really good book.

This is the first book I've read by this author and I wasn't sure what to expect. The story inside is just as beautiful as the cover! It is packed with emotions, you will laugh, cry, and cheer for the people. The author makes the story come to life with her words and paints beautiful pictures of the scenery. This was a very enjoyable read and I recommend this book to anyone who likes a feel good romance. Thank you Bookouture via NetGalley for the ARC copy of this wonderful book. All opinions expressed are my own.

After more than 30 years, Grace’s marriage is over. Luckily she has her beloved cottage, garden and bees to keep her occupied and happy. Then a visit from a property developer puts that all at risk. Looking for help from her friend and neighbor, Grace meets Amos, a man of a certain age, traveling the countryside, working odd jobs as he goes. He agrees to help Grace turn her home into a guest house for aspiring beekeepers. Grace hadn’t thought it possible, but she begins to wonder if she might have a second chance at love. But what chance does she stand with a man who never stays in one place? A charming love story that demonstrates that romance isn’t just for twenty somethings
